Life - activity.... death – inactivity....

This is life, that you are constantly active in love. For this is the state which testifies to your will towards God. God is love in Himself, He is life in Himself, i.e., He is strength which never lies fallow, which stimulates everything to activity.... He is strength that continues to increase through never-ending activity. Consequently, everything that enters into contact with God, consciously or unconsciously, must likewise be active. For it receives the strength from God which causes it to be active.... but power from God is love, and he who stands in love must be active, therefore live.... For every state of inactivity is death. Every state of inactivity is a resistance against God, a making oneself unreceptive to His strength and therefore lack of love. It is also a standstill, a persistence in the same imperfection, it is a distance from God and therefore something negative, something opposed to the divine.... It is a state of complete lack of will, because the will will always be active, in a good or in an evil way. The being can also be active in a bad way, but only in the stage as a human being, therefore the being is alive even then, although this life is only a purely physical, but not a spiritual life. The spirit is dead as long as it is not active in love, for only this activity is true life....

Vida - Activity.... Morte - Inactividade....

Isto é a vida, que você está constantemente ativo no amor. Pois este é o estado que testemunha a vossa vontade para com Deus. Deus é amor em Si mesmo, Ele é vida em Si mesmo, ou seja, Ele é força que nunca fica ociosa, o que estimula tudo à atividade.... Ele é uma força que aumenta continuamente através de uma actividade sem fim. Consequentemente, tudo o que entra em contato com Deus, consciente ou inconscientemente, também deve estar ativo. Pois recebe a força de Deus que a faz estar activa.... Mas a força de Deus é o amor, e quem está apaixonado deve estar ativo, portanto viver.... Pois cada estado de inactividade é a morte. Todo estado de inatividade é uma resistência contra Deus, uma falta de resposta ao Seu poder e, portanto, falta de bondade. É também um impasse, uma persistência na mesma imperfeição, é um distanciamento de Deus e, portanto, algo negativo, algo oposto ao divino.... É um estado de completa falta de vontade, pois a vontade será sempre ativa, no bem ou no mal. O ser também pode ser ativo de uma maneira ruim, mas somente no estágio como ser humano, portanto o ser também está então vivo, embora esta vida seja apenas uma vida puramente corporal, mas não uma vida espiritual. O espírito está morto enquanto não estiver activo no amor, pois só esta actividade é a verdadeira vida....
