Life - activity.... death – inactivity....

This is life, that you are constantly active in love. For this is the state which testifies to your will towards God. God is love in Himself, He is life in Himself, i.e., He is strength which never lies fallow, which stimulates everything to activity.... He is strength that continues to increase through never-ending activity. Consequently, everything that enters into contact with God, consciously or unconsciously, must likewise be active. For it receives the strength from God which causes it to be active.... but power from God is love, and he who stands in love must be active, therefore live.... For every state of inactivity is death. Every state of inactivity is a resistance against God, a making oneself unreceptive to His strength and therefore lack of love. It is also a standstill, a persistence in the same imperfection, it is a distance from God and therefore something negative, something opposed to the divine.... It is a state of complete lack of will, because the will will always be active, in a good or in an evil way. The being can also be active in a bad way, but only in the stage as a human being, therefore the being is alive even then, although this life is only a purely physical, but not a spiritual life. The spirit is dead as long as it is not active in love, for only this activity is true life....

Leben - Tätigkeit.... Tod - Untätigkeit....

Das ist Leben, daß ihr unentwegt tätig seid in Liebe. Denn es ist dies der Zustand, der euren Willen bezeugt zu Gott. Gott ist in Sich Liebe, Er ist in Sich Leben, d.h., Er ist Kraft, die nie brachliegt, die alles zur Tätigkeit anregt.... Er ist Kraft, die gleichfort sich vermehrt durch nie aufhörende Tätigkeit. Folglich muß gleichfalls alles in Tätigkeit sein, was in Verbindung tritt mit Gott, bewußt oder unbewußt. Denn es nimmt die Kraft aus Gott auf, die es zur Tätigkeit veranlaßt.... Kraft aus Gott aber ist Liebe, und wer in der Liebe steht, muß tätig sein, also leben.... Denn jeder Untätigkeitszustand ist Tod. Jeder Untätigkeitszustand ist ein Widerstand gegen Gott, ein Sich-unempfänglich-Machen für Seine Kraft und also Lieblosigkeit. Er ist weiter ein Stillstand, ein Verharren im gleichen Unvollkommenen, er ist ein Entferntsein von Gott und somit etwas Negatives, etwas dem Göttlichen Entgegengesetztes.... Er ist ein Zustand völliger Willenlosigkeit, denn der Wille wird sich stets betätigen, in guter oder in böser Weise. Es kann das Wesenhafte sich auch betätigen in schlechter Weise, dies aber nur im Stadium als Mensch, also ist auch dann das Wesen lebend, obzwar dieses Leben nur ein rein körperliches, jedoch kein geistiges Leben ist. Der Geist ist tot, solange er sich nicht in Liebe betätigt, denn erst diese Tätigkeit ist wahres Leben....
