Material benefit of the activity.... right to use it....

What contributes to the increase of matter need not be directed against divine will as long as love for one's neighbour is the driving force behind earthly activity. Man should fulfil his earthly task and this will also bring him material advantage. This is not against divine will. The only thing that matters is how he now utilizes the earthly good he has gained. If he only has his own physical well-being in mind, then he will enjoy the possession for his own sake and jeopardize his soul. However, if he uses it to alleviate the need of his neighbour or uses his possessions to provide physical or spiritual help where it is needed, God Himself will bless and increase his possessions, for this is in accordance with His will. A person can gain an incredible advantage for his soul if he is always restlessly active with a view to the soul's higher development. His earthly activity is then at the same time redeeming, for it is carried out with the right realization. It no longer supports the evil power in the beyond, but its effect is weakened by redeeming matter and again enabling a new moulding for the spiritual in it, but at the same time the now won possession is used in such a way that it again remedies earthly misery. The success of earthly activity must always favour a work of love, then it is God-willed and the activity will be blessed. But anyone who is only intent on making his earthly life bearable, who works restlessly for the sake of earthly advantages, who only loves his own ego and this love is the driving force for earthly activity, who constantly increases his possessions for his own pleasure, simultaneously increases the power of evil, for he does not release the immature spiritual substance from its form but prolongs its bound state and hands himself over to those forces which influence him unfavourably by seeking to increase the inclination for what the human being has long since overcome.... Then man rejoices in his possessions and contributes neither to his own redemption nor to the redemption of the bound spiritual substance, but binds himself and the spiritual substance in matter anew through his desire for earthly good....

Ventaja material de la actividad.... Beneficio correcto al respecto....

Lo que contribuye al aumento de la materia no tiene por qué ser necesariamente contrario a la voluntad divina, siempre que el amor al prójimo sea el motor de la actividad terrena. El hombre debe cumplir su tarea terrenal y esto también le traerá ventajas materiales. Esto no va en contra de la voluntad divina. Lo único que importa es cómo utiliza los bienes terrenales que ha adquirido. Si sólo tiene en mente su propio bienestar físico, entonces disfrutará de la posesión por sí mismo y, al hacerlo, pondrá en peligro su alma.

Sin embargo, si con ello alivia la necesidad de su prójimo o utiliza sus bienes de tal manera que proporciona ayuda física o espiritual donde tal ayuda es necesaria, entonces Dios Mismo bendecirá y aumentará sus posesiones, porque esto corresponde a Su voluntad. El hombre puede obtener beneficios increíbles para su alma si está activo incansablemente con miras a un mayor desarrollo espiritual. Su actividad terrenal entonces es al mismo tiempo redentora, porque se lleva a cabo con el conocimiento correcto. Ya no se utiliza para apoyar fuerzas malignas del más allá, sino que se debilita sus efectos al redimir la materia y hacer posible dar una nueva forma para lo espiritual en ella, pero al mismo tiempo la posesión ahora obtenida se usa de tal manera que elimine nuevamente las angustias terrenales.

El éxito de la actividad terrenal debe favorecer siempre una obra de amor, entonces corresponde a la voluntad de Dios y la actividad será bendecida. Pero quien sólo se preocupa por hacer soportable su vida terrenal, quien trabaja incansablemente por las ventajas terrenales, quien ama sólo a sí mismo, y este amor es la fuerza motriz de la actividad terrenal, quien aumenta constantemente sus bienes para su propio gozo, al mismo tiempo aumenta el poder del mal, porque no redime lo espiritual inmaduro de su forma, sino que prolonga su estado atado y él mismo se entrega a aquellas fuerzas que influyen en el desfavorablemente tratando de aumentar la tendencia hacia lo que el ser humano ya había superado hace tiempo.... Entonces el hombre se regocija en sus posesiones y no contribuye ni a su propia redención ni a la redención de lo espiritual atado, sino que se ata a sí mismo y a lo espiritual nuevamente en la materia a través de su deseo por lo bienes terrenales....
