Threefold reception of the divine word....

It is a significant hour when the human being becomes aware of eternity and immortality, for now his struggle on earth is no longer futile but he realizes that it has its reason. And now he will also no longer rebel against his fate, he will harmonize it with God's wisdom and love and thus already submit himself devotedly to divine will. God's guidance will become increasingly clear to him and thus his trust in God will become childlike and unshakeable. And from this hour onwards he lives his life consciously, i.e. he endeavours to let every event affect him in such a way that it is beneficial to his soul and seeks strength to resist the hostility of the God-opposing power in the divine word, which is now also imparted to him through the love of the heavenly father. For without the word of God, man is not able.... although he recognizes.... to overcome all resistance that opposes him. The word of God provides him with the grace that is absolutely necessary in order to reach the goal, which is the purpose of life on earth. The word of God tells man how he should organize his way of life in order to partake of divine grace. One thing must therefore be received so that man prays, i.e. he gets in touch with God in order to request divine grace, for it cannot be supplied to him unasked. But the word of God must first impart the knowledge of it to him, he must allow God to speak to him, yet he is completely free to decide how and where he receives the divine word. He can do so by way of the proper divine service, i.e. he can be taught about the divine will by people who offer themselves to God for service; he can also receive the word of God through the holy scriptures if he asks God for enlightenment for what seems incomprehensible to him.... But he can also receive the word of God directly from Him if he allows himself to be mentally instructed by God's servants in the beyond. And this happens through mental deepening and connecting with God.... If a person tries to get in touch with the eternal deity more often by asking all questions to Him in the most childlike trust that they will be answered, he will be mentally instructed in the most marvellous and detailed way. And receiving the word of God in this form is truly the best, for then the word is alive in the person, it penetrates his heart, it does not merely pass by as an empty sound in his ear. For anyone who wants enlightenment from God Himself is also serious about it, and he will think through every answer and then keep it as spiritual property and now also be flooded with strength and grace in order to be able to live his earthly life in accordance with God's will....

Dreifache Entgegennahme des göttlichen Wortes....

Es ist eine bedeutungsvolle Stunde, da der Mensch sich der Ewigkeit und der Unvergänglichkeit bewußt wird, denn nun ist sein Ringen auf Erden nicht mehr zwecklos, sondern er erkennt, daß es seine Begründung hat. Und nun wird er sich auch nicht mehr auflehnen gegen sein Schicksal, er wird es mit der Weisheit und Liebe Gottes in Einklang bringen und sich also schon dem göttlichen Willen ergeben unterwerfen. Die Führung Gottes wird ihm immer ersichtlicher und somit auch sein Vertrauen zu Gott kindlich und unerschütterlich. Und von dieser Stunde an lebt er sein Leben bewußt, d.h., er bemüht sich, jedes Geschehen so auf sich wirken zu lassen, daß es der Seele zum Heile gereiche, und sucht Kraft zum Widerstand gegen die Anfeindungen der Gott-entgegen-gesinnten Macht im göttlichen Wort, das ihm nun auch vermittelt wird durch die Liebe des himmlischen Vaters. Denn ohne das Wort Gottes ist der Mensch nicht fähig.... obgleich er erkennt.... alle Widerstände zu besiegen, die sich ihm entgegenstellen. Das Wort Gottes vermittelt ihm die Gnade, die unbedingt nötig ist, um das Ziel zu erreichen, das Zweck des Erdenlebens ist. Das Wort Gottes gibt dem Menschen kund, wie er seinen Lebenswandel gestalten soll, um der göttlichen Gnade teilhaftig zu werden. Es muß also das eine in Empfang genommen werden, auf daß der Mensch betet, d.h. er mit Gott in Verbindung tritt, um die göttliche Gnade anzufordern, denn sie kann ihm ungebeten nicht zugeführt werden. Das Wort Gottes muß ihm aber erst das Wissen darum vermitteln, er muß Gott zu sich sprechen lassen, doch es steht ihm völlig frei, wie und wo er das göttliche Wort entgegennimmt. Er kann es tun auf dem Wege des ordnungsmäßigen Gottesdienstes, d.h., er kann von Menschen, die sich selbst Gott zum Dienst anbieten, belehrt werden über den göttlichen Willen; er kann das Wort Gottes auch durch die hl. Schrift entgegennehmen, so er Gott um Erleuchtung bittet für das, was ihm unverständlich erscheint.... Er kann aber auch das Wort Gottes direkt von Ihm entgegennehmen, so er sich gedanklich belehren läßt durch jenseitige Diener Gottes. Und dies geschieht durch gedankliches Vertiefen und Sich-Verbinden mit Gott.... Sucht der Mensch des öfteren mit der ewigen Gottheit in Verbindung zu treten, indem er alle Fragen an Diese stellt im kindlichsten Vertrauen, daß sie ihm beantwortet werden, so wird er gedanklich belehrt in der wunderbarsten und ausführlichsten Weise. Und es ist die Entgegennahme des Wortes Gottes in dieser Form wahrlich die beste, denn es ist dann das Wort lebendig im Menschen, es dringt zu Herzen, es geht nicht nur als leerer Schall am Ohr des Menschen vorüber. Denn wer von Gott Selbst Aufklärung haben will, dem ist es auch ernst darum, und er wird jede Antwort durchdenken und sie dann als geistiges Eigentum behalten und nun auch von Kraft und Gnade durchströmt sein, um sein Erdenleben so leben zu können, wie es Gottes Wille ist....
