Call God's guarantee for truth....

It seems relatively difficult for people to recognize what is right as long as they only want to recognize the truth with their intellect. Whatever man does.... is to lead to the right success, then God must never be excluded. Therefore, a person cannot think correctly if he does not call upon God, as the truth Himself, for His support and grace. For even if he does not consciously abandon himself to the evil forces, they will always exert their influence and can do so as long as they are not opposed by the will to God and the desire for truth. Therefore, the human being who believes he can solve important spiritual problems without God will always be under the influence of evil forces whose aim it is to eliminate the truth from the world, who want to underlay everything with lies and error in order to block the path to God. The battle of evil against good is immense, and the battle can only lead to victory if God Himself is called upon to help.... Therefore, a person who is truly searching will never be satisfied with the result of his intellectual enquiry, for his soul senses that it has not yet found what is right, and it tries to make him understand his deficient state. For God will not leave an earnest seeker without help. He will always try to make the truth accessible to him, but God's love must then also be recognized. A person must be prepared to subject to scrutiny even that which does not correspond to the previous train of thought.... His will must not be so strong that he is not open to instruction and believes that he has completed his knowledge. And only intellectual thinking is never a guarantee for pure truth, but if this thinking is entrusted to God, if the human being consciously establishes the connection with God before solving spiritual questions, he can accept his newly gained knowledge as truth with complete conviction, for God as the eternal truth protects him from accepting error. It will also be easy for him to recognize, he will understand what previously seemed incomprehensible to him and all doubt will be dispelled from his heart. He will now be convinced that he ‚knows‘ and will no longer need to fear that he is only guessing. And this inner certainty of standing in the truth also allows him to stand up with conviction for what he now recognizes as truth. To surrender to God without reserve, i.e. to present everything to Himself which the person deems worth knowing and to humbly ask for clarification, is the only guarantee for the pure truth, but the same spiritual result will never be achieved (gained?) in any other way, for only God can give out the pure truth and He does so to those who faithfully entrust themselves to Him and ask Him for clarification....

Het aanroepen van God is de garantie voor de waarheid

Het zal de mens betrekkelijk moeilijk lijken om het ware te herkennen, zolang hij alleen maar met het verstand tot inzicht in de waarheid wil komen. Wat de mens ook doet, als het tot het juiste resultaat moet leiden, dan mag God nooit uitgeschakeld worden. Dus de mens kan nooit juist denken als hij zich niet tot God, als de waarheid Zelf, wendt en om Zijn hulp, Zijn genade vraagt.

Want ofschoon hij zich ook niet bewust aan de boze krachten overgeeft, zullen deze echter hun invloed doen gelden en ze kunnen dit ook, zolang hier niet de wil tot God en het verlangen naar de waarheid tegenover gezet wordt. Daarom zal de mens, die gelooft om zonder God belangrijke geestelijke vraagstukken op te kunnen lossen, steeds onder de invloed van boze krachten staan, van wie het doel is om de waarheid uit de wereld te werken. Die alles met leugen en dwaling willen vermengen om de weg naar God te versperren.

De strijd van het kwaad tegen het goede is ontzettend en de strijd kan alleen maar tot de zege leiden als God Zelf om hulp geroepen wordt. Daarom zal de mens die werkelijk zoekend is ook nooit tevreden zijn met het resultaat van zijn verstandelijk onderzoeken, want zijn ziel voelt dat ze nog niet het ware gevonden heeft en ze probeert hem de gebrekkige toestand begrijpelijk te maken. Want God laat een ernstig zoekend mens niet zonder hulp. Hij zal ook steeds weer de waarheid dichter bij hem proberen te brengen, maar de liefde van God moet dan ook ingezien worden.

De mens moet ook bereid zijn om dat, wat niet met zijn gedachtegang tot nog toe overeenstemt, aan een onderzoek te onderwerpen. Zijn wil mag niet zo sterk zijn, dat hij niet meer voor onderricht toegankelijk is en gelooft dat zijn kennis compleet is. En alleen maar een verstandelijk denken is nooit een garantie voor de zuivere waarheid, maar als dit denken aan God overgelaten wordt, als de mens voor het oplossen van geestelijke vragen bewust de verbinding met God tot stand brengt, kan hij in de volste overtuiging zijn nu verworven kennis als waarheid aannemen, want God als de eeuwige waarheid beschermt hem voor het in ontvangst nemen van vergissingen.

En hij zal het ook gemakkelijk inzien. Er zal begrijpelijk voor hem worden, wat hem eerst onbegrijpelijk leek en elke twijfel zal ook uit het hart verdreven worden. Hij zal er nu van overtuigd zijn dat hij “weet” en hij zal niet meer hoeven te vrezen dat hij alleen maar vermoedt. En deze innerlijke zekerheid in de waarheid te staan, laat hem ook met volle overtuiging opkomen voor dat, wat hij nu als waarheid herkent.

Zich ongeremd aan God wijden, dat wil zeggen Hem Zelf alles uiteenzetten, waarvan de mens meent, dat het wetenswaardig is en deemoedig om opheldering vragen, is de enige garantie voor de zuivere waarheid. Maar op andere manieren zal nooit hetzelfde geestelijke resultaat behaald worden, want alleen God kan de zuivere waarheid uitdelen en Hij doet dit aan degenen, die Hem gelovig in vertrouwen nemen en Hem om opheldering vragen.
