Source of strength.... God denier....

Nothing in the world can be detached from the power that sustains everything. Because without this power there is no existence. A detachment from the all-sustaining power would therefore be tantamount to ‚no longer being‘. And so everything that exists must bear witness to a power that has no other origin than God Himself. For something must exist where the power emanates.... there must be a source of power. What the source of power is called is the same as long as it is only recognized once. To be able to imagine an entity as a source of power is only the consequence of recognizing it. As long as man is aware in his innermost being of a power that sustains the work of creation, he does not deny the eternal deity, for he recognizes that very power as something divine, even though he does not clothe it in a form. He must only always affirm the connection with every work of creation and thus also regard himself as such a work of creation, which is, as it were, in the closest connection with that all-sustaining power. But insofar as he disputes the connection of the creating power with the created things, to which therefore man also belongs.... i.e. he considers created things, once they have come into being, to be independent of the creating power, then he denies God, no matter what he imagines the term ‚God‘ to mean. For then he presents everything in creation as an inherently conditional event that has just come into being without a plan, without meaning and without purpose. He then denies the entire work of creation a wise reason, a connection between the individual creations and a purpose. Then he recognizes no purpose in what he sees, but sees everything merely as the product of a process that is constantly and continuously repeated, but which cannot be evaluated in any depth, i.e. to which neither reason nor purpose can be attributed. In his view, what is, has arisen of its own accord and has neither a designer nor a controller above it; it therefore has neither a deeper meaning nor a specific purpose other than that which man himself has given it. He denies any possibility of a connection between the one work of creation and the other, and for him man as such is only a completely isolated creature which, depending on its ability, should now fit into the whole of creation and extract the greatest possible advantages from what is around it. And then he gives every work of creation, including the human being, just the short span of time of its existence and is convinced that after this short existence on earth it will dissolve into nothing again and pass away.... Such a view is totally erroneous. If the eternal deity, in accordance with this view, were to cover creation with His power, i.e. sever the connection with the works of creation, as man imagines, then suddenly there would be nothing more, for insofar as the power that sustains everything is withdrawn from the creature, its existence is over. Thus, even without being acknowledged, God continues to grant His strength to the human being who denies Him.... Earthly, therefore, the erroneous opinion has little detrimental effect, but spiritually the disadvantage is unimaginable....

Nada no mundo se pode separar do poder que sustenta tudo. Pois sem este poder não há existência. Destacar-se do poder que sustenta tudo seria, portanto, equivalente a "não mais ser". E assim tudo o que existe deve dar testemunho de um poder que não tem outra origem senão o próprio Deus. Para algo deve existir onde o poder emana.... deve haver uma fonte de energia. O que se chama fonte de força é o mesmo, se só for reconhecida uma vez. Ser capaz de imaginar uma entidade como uma fonte de força é apenas a consequência do seu reconhecimento. Enquanto o homem estiver profundamente consciente de um poder que sustenta a obra da criação, ele não nega a Deidade eterna, pois ele reconhece esse mesmo poder como algo divino, ainda que não o revesta de uma forma. Ele deve apenas afirmar sempre a ligação com cada obra de criação e, portanto, também se considerar como uma obra de criação, que, por assim dizer, está em conexão mais próxima com esse poder todo-sustentável. Mas na medida em que contesta a ligação da força criadora com as coisas criadas, às quais, portanto, também o ser humano pertence, ele deve considerar-se como uma obra de criação, que se encontra, por assim dizer, na ligação mais próxima com essa força todo-sustentável. Isto é, pensar nas coisas criadas como tendo surgido uma vez independentemente do poder criador, então ele nega Deus, não importa o que ele imagina pelo termo "Deus". Pois então ele apresenta tudo o que está na criação como um evento inerentemente condicionado que acaba de surgir sem plano, sem sentido e sem propósito. Então ele nega a todo o trabalho de criação uma razão sábia, uma ligação entre as criações individuais e um propósito. Então ele não reconhece nenhum propósito do que vê, mas vê tudo apenas como um produto de um processo que é sempre e constantemente repetido, mas que não pode ser avaliado mais profundamente, ou seja, ao qual não se pode apegar nem justificação nem intencionalidade. O que é, a seu ver, surgiu por sua própria vontade e não tem um projetista nem um diretor acima dele; não tem, portanto, nem um significado mais profundo nem um propósito específico além daquele que o próprio homem lhe deu. Ele contesta toda possibilidade de conexão de uma obra de criação com a outra, e para ele o homem como tal também é apenas uma criatura permanente completamente isolada, que agora, de acordo com sua capacidade, é se inserir no todo da criação e tirar as maiores vantagens possíveis do que está ao seu redor. E então ele dá a cada obra de criação, incluindo o homem, apenas o curto período de tempo de sua existência e está convencido de que depois dessa curta existência na Terra ela se dissolverá novamente em nada e passará..... Tal visão é totalmente errónea. Se a Deidade eterna, de acordo com esta visão, cobrisse a criação com a Sua força, ou seja, para cortar a ligação com as obras da criação, como o homem imagina, então de repente nada mais existiria, pois na medida em que a força que sustenta tudo é retirada da criatura, a sua existência termina. Assim, mesmo sem ser reconhecido, Deus continua a enviar a Sua força às pessoas que O negam..... Assim, a opinião errônea tem pouco efeito prejudicial na terra, mas espiritualmente a desvantagem é inconcebível....
