Mood disorders.... Depression.... Proof of love....

People do not pay attention to the different currents which are expressed in different states of mind and are therefore also not informed that these currents are not coincidences either, that therefore the emotional life of man is also a result of his attitude towards God or the opposing power. It is precisely the human being suffering from such moods of mind who is visibly seized by God's love, for God takes care of the human being who is in danger of forgetting Him by influencing the human being's emotional life, impairing the joy of life and allowing a general despondency to take possession of him. And in many cases, this is tremendously beneficial, for only at such times does the human being's thoughts turn to his Creator; only when everything earthly has lost its value does the human being remember his true purpose. And therefore, days of inner struggle must come over people, days in which they realise the frailty of earthly enjoyment. Real hardship and suffering need not always be the reason for this, the gloomy mood can arise in the human being himself without external cause. And this is the influence of those beings to whom people are entrusted, and who are concerned about their soul's salvation and anxiously watch over every stirring of the human heart. There is an obvious danger that the human being will devote all his strength to the demands made on him by earthly life; then they will intervene by strongly inhibiting the zest for action, the joy of earthly life, and the human being will fall into a depressed mood. And it is good if a person allows himself to be influenced by them.... if such times bring him hours of inner contemplation, then they have not come upon him in vain. Yet not all people listen to the inner admonition.... Very many try to stifle their emotions in heightened earthly enjoyment, and they also succeed because their will is more focussed on earthly life, and they thoughtlessly pass over such moods, only intent on restoring the old state of inner contentment. Let not the man complain whose life has days which seem difficult and unbearable to him, and which are only caused by his emotional life. God's love is close to them, and such hours are only aids from friends in the beyond who want to prevent the human being from losing himself in earthly pleasures. Everything that gives the impression on earth that the human being has to live in want in earthly life is always just a proof of grace from divine love, which can only guide the human being onto the right path in this way, onto the path that leads to eternal glory and will fully compensate the earthly child for what it had to do without or give up on earth. For earthly pleasures pass away but the eternal glories remain, and these alone are the ones which should be desired on earth....

Disposición de ánimo. Depresiones. Prueba de amor

Los hombres no prestan atención a las diversas corrientes que llegan a la manifestación tras las diversas disposiciones de ánimo; y por eso tampoco son conscientes de que estas corrientes no son simplemente productos de la casualidad, sino que incluso la vida anímica del hombre es una consecuencia del modo de proceder frente a Dios o el poder del adversario.

Precisamente el hombre que sufre por causa de tales estados de ánimo está conmovido del Amor de Dios, a ojos vistas; porque Dios se preocupa de los hombres que peligran olvidarse de Él, influyendo sobre su vida de ánimo y permitiendo que se apodere de ellos un desaliento - lo que en muchos casos resulta enormemente benéfico, porque solamente en tiempos como estos los pensamientos del hombre se dirigen a su Creador... sólo cuando todo lo terrenal ha perdido valor, el hombre se acuerda de su verdadero destino.

Por eso hace falta que le desafíen días de lucha interior - días en que llega a ser consciente de la vanidad de los placeres terrenales. No hace falta que siempre verdaderos apuros y sufrimientos sean la causa de ello. Los sentimientos tristes en el hombre también pueden producirse sin motivos exteriores. Esta es la influencia de aquellos seres a los que los hombres están confiados - los que están preocupados por la salvación de estas almas, y que concienzudamente vigilan por cada impulso de su corazón.

El peligro está inminente que el hombre aplique todas sus fuerzas a las exigencias que la vida terrenal le impone. Entonces estos seres intervienen, refrenando considerablemente ese dinamismo... el placer en la vida terrenal... por lo que el hombre incurre en depresión...

Por esto es bien si el hombre se deja influenciar de ello, porque si tales tiempos le producen horas de introversión, entonces estos tiempos no se han producido en vano... Pero no todos los hombres hacen caso a la advertencia interior. Hay muchos que procuran sofocar ese estado de ánimo, abandonándose en placeres mundanos - y eso con éxito, dado que su voluntad está orientada sobre todo hacia la vida terrenal... despreocupados ignoran tales estados de ánimo, porque sólo están interesados en volver a recuperar el antiguo estado de satisfacción interior.

Los hombres cuya vida muestra días que les parecen pesados o inaguantables - días que son una consecuencia de su vida sentimental, ¡que no se lamenten, porque a ellos el Amor de Dios está cercano! Pues horas como aquellas son un remedio de los amigos del Más Allá, que quieren evitar que el hombre se pierda en placeres mundanos.

Todo lo que hace suponer que el hombre en la Tierra está en la miseria, siempre es una prueba de Gracia del Amor divino que únicamente de esta manera puede llevar al hombre al buen camino - al camino que le lleva a la Magnificencia eterna y que recompensará al niño terrenal completamente por todo de lo que en la Tierra estaba privado y por todo que tenía que ceder.

Porque alegrías terrenales son pasajeras, mientras que las Magnificencias eternas permanecen... y únicamente estas son lo que debe ser anhelado en la Tierra.
