Knowledge without love is dead material....

You humans try to acquire intellectually what you deem worth knowing, and thus you pursue a goal which, however, need not necessarily be important as long as you strive for knowledge which is of no particular value for the soul's higher development. The light should shine for the human being, that is, he should be aware of divine wisdom, of His infinite love, of His reign and activity in the universe and of His creation.... This knowledge should help him to recognise God, to love Him and to serve Him with all his will out of this knowledge and love for Him.... It should be the whole endeavour of man to devote himself to God in heartfelt filial love, and to do everything God asks of His earthly children. To stand in knowledge therefore means to walk in the light. And this is an enormous grace which the human being first has to acquire again through his way of life, and which he has to ask for through heartfelt supplication to God. Every man is entitled to it, but man must do his part to be allowed to receive divine grace. Thus he must first educate himself, that is, shape his soul such that divine grace can be imparted to him...., that is, the soul must be in a certain state of maturity in order to be able to be taught, thus to become knowledgeable. The human being can never receive spiritual knowledge as long as his soul is not shaped such that it is capable of receiving the knowledge of divine wisdom. And the soul is not able to do so as long as it is still outside of love. It can certainly absorb knowledge in a scholastic way, thus make knowledge its own through intellectual thinking; however, this knowledge has no influence whatsoever on the soul's higher development. It is a thinking process that has nothing to do with the awakening of the divine spirit in the human being. What the intellect has absorbed need not contradict the truth, and yet it is dead material as long as love is not awakened in the human being at the same time.... Only through the activity of unselfish neighbourly love does it gain life, and only then does the human being stand in the light, for now this light radiates out in all directions....

The loving person will want to pass on his knowledge, and will do so because he is compelled to let his light shine, he is compelled to let his fellow human beings participate in the knowledge that makes him happy. And God also places in a loving person the right realisation of what is truth and what is falsehood.... He will therefore have the right knowledge and be able to distinguish truth from falsehood, whereas a person who only absorbs spiritual wisdom purely intellectually accepts everything imparted to him in a scholastic manner as truth without judgement, for it is not given to him by the spirit from God but people pass on what they have also received. And this is the great danger that they are unable to separate human work from purely divine programmes, but that they are also not open to any instruction but only seek the truth where, however, there is no guarantee of pure truth. For if the spirit from God is at work, all doubt may disappear, but where knowledge was only acquired through intellectual labour, the truth can be doubted with justification. Only that which God Himself imparts to people on earth is beyond all doubt, for God is the truth, and those who turn their hearts to God and ask for His spirit will therefore be instructed by God and stand in the truth....

Il sapere senza amore è patrimonio morto

Voi uomini cercate di appropriarvi intellettualmente di ciò che vi sembra degno di sapere, e quindi perseguite una meta che però non è necessariamente importante, per quanto aspirate ad un sapere, che non ha nessun particolare valore per lo sviluppo verso l’Alto dell’anima. All’uomo deve splendere la Luce, cioè deve stare nel sapere delle Sapienze divine, dell’infinito Amore di Dio, del Suo Agire ed Operare nel Cosmo e nella Sua Creazione. Questo sapere deve contribuire a riconoscere Dio per amarLo e da questa conoscenza e dall’amore per Lui servirLo con piena volontà. Tutto il tendere dell’uomo dev’essere di darsi a Dio nell’intimo amore di figlio e di fare tutto ciò che Dio esige dai Suoi figli terreni. Stare nel sapere significa quindi camminare nella Luce. E questa è una ultragrande Grazia, che l’uomo si deve dapprima conquistare attraverso il suo cammino di vita e che deve richiedere attraverso una intima supplica rivolta a Dio. Spetta ad ogni uomo, ma l’uomo deve fare il suo, per poter ricevere la Grazia divina. Quindi prima deve formarsi, cioè formare la sua anima in modo che gli possa venir trasmessa la Grazia divina, cioè l’anima dev’essere in un determinato grado di maturità, per poter ora essere istruita, quindi diventare sapiente. L’uomo non può mai accogliere del sapere spirituale, finché l’anima non è formata da essere ricettiva per il sapere della Sapienza divina. E l’anima non ne è capace, finché stà ancora al di fuori dell’amore. Può bensì accogliere in sé del sapere in modo scolastico, quindi rendere suo un sapere attraverso il pensare d’intelletto; ma questo sapere non ha nessuna influenza sullo sviluppo verso l’Alto dell’anima. E’ un lavoro di pensieri, che non hanno nulla a che fare con il risveglio dello spirito divino nell’uomo. Quello che l’intelletto ha accolto in sé, non deve necessariamente contraddire la Verità, e malgrado ciò è un bene morto, finché nell’uomo non diventa contemporaneamente attivo l’amore. Solo attraverso l’amore attivo e disinteressato per il prossimo conquista in vita, e soltanto allora l’uomo sta nella Luce, perché ora questa Luce risplende anche in tutte le direzioni. L’uomo attivo nell’amore vorrà dare agli altri del suo sapere e lo farà anche, perché è spinto a far splendere la sua Luce, è spinto far parte i prossimi del sapere che lo rende felice. E Dio mette anche in una persona amorevole la giusta conoscenza di ciò che è Verità e ciò che è menzogna. Quindi starà nel giusto sapere e sarà in grado di distinguere la Verità dalla menzogna, mentre l’uomo accoglie in sé delle Sapienze spirituali solo in modo puramente intellettuale, che accetta tutto come Verità di ciò che gli viene trasmesso scolasticamente senza giudizio, perché a lui non lo dà lo spirito da Dio, ma degli uomini danno oltre ciò che hanno appunto accolto. E questo è il grande pericolo, che non sono in grado di distinguere l’opera d’uomo dai puri Mandati divini, ma che non sono nemmeno accessibili per nessun insegnamento, ma che cercano unicamente la Verità là, dove però non è data nessuna garanzia per la pura Verità. Perché quando è all’opera lo spirito da Dio, può scomparire ogni dubbio, ma dove il sapere è stato conquistato solo tramite il lavoro d’intelletto, là si può dubitare della Verità con giustificazione. E’ al di sopra di ogni dubbio ciò che Dio Stesso ha trasmesso agli uomini sulla Terra, perché Dio E’ la Verità, e coloro che rivolgono i loro cuori a Dio e chiedono il Suo Spirito, verranno quindi istruiti da Dio e staranno nella Verità.
