The end justifies the means....

You burden yourselves with a great responsibility when you cause your fellow human beings to act contrary to Christian teaching and try to enforce this through coercive measures. For now it is not them but you yourselves who will be punished for having done so. The person who is forced is not of his own will and therefore cannot be held responsible. But you, who have subjugated this will, must bear the consequences and atone for your injustice. The actual act will not be condemned as much as the originator of such an act. Thus you should not believe that you can cause your fellow human being to commit an evil deed with impunity.... without being called to account yourselves. And it will now be understandable to you that an injustice cannot be condoned because it is supposed to bring some kind of benefit...., that the principle ‘The end justifies the means....’ is therefore never recognised by God but that such an opinion is completely erroneous. Every bad seed can only bear bad fruits, i.e. a bad deed can never result in any advantage for people that benefits them spiritually. Although earthly advantages are sometimes undeniable, they will never find God's approval or His blessing. Consequently, all those who benefit from a bad deed must also accept the consequences of the bad deed, they must bear the greatest suffering if they want to make amends for the injustice for which they are responsible. For no guilt can remain unatoned for, and it is far better to atone for a guilt in earthly life than to take it over into the hereafter and to endure torment that cancels out that guilt. What happens under this principle.... The ends justify the means.... what has emerged as an alleged advantage from such action will also never be blessed or bring spiritual benefit to the person, for God does not approve of measures which contradict the commandment to love one's neighbour, which seem to have arisen from a noble disposition but in reality clearly show the adversary's doing. And the person responsible for it, as well as all those who approve of his plan, will be called to account, as it is the greatest injustice before God.

Os fins justificam os meios....

Vós sois sobrecarregados com uma grande responsabilidade se fizerdes com que os vossos semelhantes ajam contrariamente aos ensinamentos cristãos e tentardes impor isso através de medidas coercivas. Por agora não são eles, mas vós mesmos, que sofrerão o castigo pelo qual sois responsáveis. A pessoa que é forçada não é poderosa de sua vontade e, portanto, não pode ser considerada responsável. Mas vós, que subjugastes esta vontade, deveis arcar com as consequências e expiar os vossos erros. A escritura propriamente dita não será então condenada tanto quanto o autor de tal escritura. Assim, não deveis acreditar que podeis fazer com que o vosso semelhante cometa um acto perverso com impunidade sem ser chamado a prestar contas por vós próprio. E será agora compreensível para vós que uma injustiça não possa ser aprovada porque é suposto trazer algum benefício.... que, portanto, o princípio 'O fim justifica o meio....' nunca é reconhecido por Deus, mas tal visão é completamente errada. Todo trabalho ruim só pode ter maus resultados, portanto nenhuma vantagem pode surgir para as pessoas de uma má ação que as beneficie espiritualmente. As vantagens terrestres são de fato às vezes inegáveis, mas nunca encontrarão a aprovação de Deus ou a Sua bênção. Por conseguinte, todos aqueles que se beneficiam de uma má ação devem também arcar com as conseqüências da má ação, devem suportar o maior sofrimento se quiserem reparar o mal pelo qual são responsáveis. Pois nenhuma culpa pode ficar desatónica, e é muito melhor expiar uma culpa na vida terrena do que levá-la para o além, e há que suportar tormentos que redimem essa culpa. O que se entende por este princípio.... fins justificam os meios.... O que surgiu como uma suposta vantagem de tal ação nunca será abençoado ou trará benefício espiritual ao ser humano, pois Deus não aprova medidas que contradizem o mandamento do amor ao próximo e que aparentemente querem brotar de uma atitude nobre, mas na realidade traem claramente a atividade do adversário. E a pessoa responsável por isso, assim como todos aqueles que aprovam o seu plano, serão chamados à justificação, pois é a maior injustiça perante Deus.
