Transience of the earthly.... clearing away - obstacles....

The transience of what you humans deem desirable has to be proven to you, only then will you learn to despise matter and only then will you be able to work on yourselves and your perfection. For matter still hinders you far too much, it distracts your thoughts from the actual task of earthly life and thus your time on earth passes by unused. But God has mercy on you and He tries to control the adversity of your souls. And although His programmes on earth result in great earthly hardship, it is nevertheless again proof of His greater than great love in order to spare you far greater hardship one day. Therefore regocnize this His love, whatever He may send upon you. Know that He is only ever anxious to avert far greater adversity from you, but that you cannot be completely spared suffering because you do not do your soul's work yourselves. You live your life regardless of its consequences and thus you do not use it according to its actual purpose. And this results in your spiritual decline which, however, God wants to prevent out of love for you, who are His living creations. But you strive for spiritual decline when you try to increase matter, for then you desire that which you are supposed to overcome.... You desire that which was previously your state, thus you are regressive, whereas it is your task to free yourselves from desire and to overcome all that which is banished in form. In order to make it easier for you to free yourselves from it, God wants to make you aware of its transience and cause you to seriously reflect on your actual task on earth. He removes all obstacles from your path which impede your ascent, yet without earthly hardship your higher development is jeopardized. You cannot be spared suffering because free will has failed. For if you voluntarily surrender everything that is part of the world, the mission from above will not painfully affect you but is merely a confirmation of what your soul has previously regocnized. This is why only the person whose heart could not free itself from earthly desire will ever have to suffer; he will feel painfully if he has to experience the downfall of what seemed desirable to him. And yet such suffering cannot be kept from him, for it is the last attempt to change his desire. If he regocnizes God's will and His love in it, this work of destruction will also be a blessing, for it made him regocnize his actual task. And this task will now be easy for him, he will no longer have to overcome such great obstacles since God Himself has reduced them for him because he himself was too weak to fight against everything that hindered him on the path upwards....

세상 것의 헛됨. 장애물을 제거하는 일.

인간에게 갈망할 만하게 보이는 것의 무상함이 너희에게 증명이 되어야만 한다. 그러면 비로소 너희가 물질을 경멸하는 법을 배우고, 비로소 자신을 위해, 자신이 온전하게 되게 하기 위해 일할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 물질은 아직 너희를 너무 많이 방해하기 때문이다. 물질은 너희의 생각이 이 땅의 삶의 실제 과제로 향하지 않도록 다른 곳으로 인도한다. 이로써 이 땅의 시간을 활용하지 않고 보낸다. 그러나 하나님은 너희에게 긍휼을 베풀고, 너희의 혼의 위험을 다스리려고 한다. 그가 이 땅에 보내는 일은 큰 세상적인 재앙을 가져오지만, 그러나 이는 언젠가는 훨씬 더 큰 문제를 해결하기 위한 하나님의 지극히 큰 사랑의 증거이다. 그러므로 그가 너희에게 무엇을 보내든지, 이런 그의 사랑을 깨달으라.

그가 단지 너희가 훨씬 더 큰 비참한 일을 피할 수 있게 해주려는 생각을 한다는 것을 알라. 그러나 너희 자신이 너희의 혼에 대한 작업을 하지 않기 때문에, 너희가 고통을 완전히 피할 수 없음을 알라. 너희는 너희 삶의 결과에 대해 걱정하지 않고 너희의 삶을 산다. 다시 말해 너희는 너희의 삶을 실제 목적에 따라 살지 않는다. 이런 일은 너희의 영적 퇴보를 초래한다. 그러나 하나님은 자신의 피조물인 너희를 향한 사랑으로, 영적인 퇴보를 막기를 원한다. 그러나 너희가 물질을 늘리려고 한다면, 너희는 영적인 퇴보를 추구하는 것이다. 왜냐하면 그러면 너희가 극복해야 할 것을 갈망하기 때문이다. 너희는 이전에 너희의 상태를 갈망하고, 따라서 너희는 퇴보한다. 그러나 너희의 과제는 그런 갈망으로부터 자유롭게 되고, 형체 안에 묶임을 받고 있는 모든 것을 극복하는 일이 너희의 과제이다.

너희가 물질로부터 자유롭게 되는 일을 쉽게 해주기 위해 하나님은 너희에게 물질이 일시적인 것임을 보여주고, 너희의 이 땅의 실제 과제에 대해 진지하게 생각하게 만들어 주기를 원한다. 그는 너희의 길을 어렵게 만드는 모든 장애물을 제거한다. 그러나 이 땅의 어려움이 없으면, 너희의 더 높은 성장은 의문시된다. 자유의지가 실패했기 때문에 너희는 고난을 피할 수 없다. 왜냐하면 너희가 세상의 모든 것을 자유의지로 희생하면, 위에서 너희에게 보내는 일이 너희에게 고통스럽지 않게 되고, 이 일은 단지 너희의 혼이 이 전에 깨달은 것을 확인하는 일이 된다.

그러므로 항상 단지 세상을 향한 욕망에서 벗어날 수 없는 심장을 가진 사람은 고난을 받아야만 하게 될 것이다. 그는 자신에게 갈망할만 하게 보이는 것의 멸망을 경험해야 할 때 고통스럽게 될 것이다. 그러나 그런 고난은 그의 욕망을 바꾸려는 마지막 시도이기 때문에 그가 이런 고난을 피하게 해줄 수 없다. 그가 고난 안에 있는 하나님의 뜻과 하나님의 사랑을 깨닫는다면, 파괴되는 역사가 축복이 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 이 역사가 그로 하여금 자신의 실제 과제를 깨닫게 하기 때문이다. 이제 그에게 과제가 쉽게 될 것이다. 그는 더 이상 큰 장애물을 극복할 필요가 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그 자신이 너무 약해 높은 곳을 향한 그의 길을 막는 모든 것에 맞서 싸울 수 없기 때문에 하나님 자신이 그를 위해 장애들을 줄여주었기 때문이다.
