Fight.... and motive for it....

The awareness of having accomplished a noble deed will always give the human being a feeling of inner satisfaction, because he regocnizes his purpose and has thus fulfilled his task. And thus everything that is pleasing to God will make the human being free and happy, but what goes against divine will will depress him as long as he regocnizes the injustice, that is, as long as he himself knows that he has done wrong. In the same way, a battle waged for justice and righteousness, waged for the sake of a good cause, will not go against the divine will, for it is always the good, the divine, which is to be promoted by it, as long as greed and injustice are not the cause of the battle. Fighting for a righteous cause will always meet with God's approval, because it is the human being who is supposed to stand up and take care of spreading what is right and good. And this will always be the case if injustice has resulted in grievances that need to be remedied. However, man must always allow the same rights to apply to his opponent.... He must also grant his opponent what he himself desires, he must not only claim the power and the right of the strongest, he must try to settle every dispute mildly and wisely like a father and only then fight with a weapon if his reproaches are not heeded for the good. Then justice is on his side. And so a person will be forced to distinguish whether a fight breaks out of a sense of right and justice or hatred and greed if he wants to fathom the justification for it. He will have to consider how far the measures of the person challenging him to fight correspond to divine commandments, for if God's blessing is demanded, the will of the person fighting must also be to fight for God and His commandments, His demands that He makes on people. God's blessing can only be asked for a cause that is God-willed, but never for a beginning that visibly bears the stamp of evil. Fighting for justice and righteousness will always be in accordance with God's will. How different is the concept of right and justice.... that is what needs to be clarified.... People's erroneous thinking has given rise to a view that threatens to suffocate any sense of justice. Right is what corresponds to the commandment of love.... Right is what God has made known to people through His commandments.... What is right is what does not violate divine order, and divine order is always the divine will.... Therefore, all righteous behaviour must correspond to the divine will. But God wants people to love Him and their neighbour as themselves. If all actions are based on this commandment, man will always be right and just. "Vengeance is Mine", says the lord.... So if a neighbour has sinned against a person, the latter should not take revenge but leave it to the lord, but in most cases the desire for revenge is the cause of a fight, combined with greed for possessions and a thirst for power. But this cannot be right before God. All divine commandments are then disregarded, the fight is not waged against an evildoer in a righteous manner, but the one fighting adds a far greater offence to the existing one, so that he in turn retaliates, often in the cruelest manner. And to call upon God to strengthen his power is presumptuous, for he expects God to approve an injustice and bless a beginning that is born out of bad thoughts that have their origin not in love but in hatred towards fellow human beings. You humans must therefore be discerning and always apply the standard of how far the commandment to love God and one's neighbour is observed by those who quarrel with one another.

Kampf.... und Motiv dessen....

Das Bewußtsein, eine edle Tat vollbracht zu haben, wird dem Menschen stets das Gefühl innerer Zufriedenheit geben, weil er erkennt, was seine Bestimmung ist, und er seiner Aufgabe damit nachgekommen ist. Und so wird alles, was Gott wohlgefällig ist, den Menschen frei und froh machen, was aber wider den göttlichen Willen geht, wird ihn drücken, solange er das Unrecht erkennt, also er selbst es weiß, daß er Unrecht getan hat. Ebenso wird ein Kampf, der für Recht und Gerechtigkeit geführt wird, der um einer guten Sache willen geführt wird, nicht wider den göttlichen Willen gehen, denn immer ist es das Gute, Göttliche, was gefördert werden soll dadurch, solange nicht Habgier und Ungerechtigkeit die Ursache des Kampfes ist. Für eine gerechte Sache zu kämpfen wird stets Gottes Zustimmung finden, denn es soll sich ja der Mensch einsetzen und für die Verbreitung des Rechten und Guten Sorge tragen. Und dies wird immer der Fall sein, so sich durch Unfrieden Mißstände ergeben haben, die beseitigt werden sollen. Es muß der Mensch jedoch immer die gleichen Rechte gelten lassen auch für seinen Gegner.... Er muß das, was er selbst begehrt, auch seinem Gegner zusprechen, er darf nicht nur die Macht und das Recht des Stärkeren beanspruchen, er muß mild und weise wie ein Vater jede Streitfrage zu regeln versuchen und erst dann mit der Waffe kämpfen, wenn seinen Vorhaltungen im Guten keine Beachtung geschenkt wird. Dann ist das Recht auf seiner Seite. Und also wird der Mensch zu unterscheiden genötigt sein, ob aus dem Gefühl des Rechtes und der Gerechtigkeit oder des Hasses und der Habgier ein Kampf entbrennt, will er die Berechtigung dessen ergründen. Er wird beachten müssen, wie weit die Maßnahmen des zum Kampf Herausfordernden göttlichen Geboten entsprechen, denn so Gottes Segen dazu gefordert wird, muß auch der Wille des Kämpfenden sein, für Gott und Seine Gebote, Seine Anforderungen, die Er an die Menschen stellt, zu kämpfen. Es kann Gottes Segen nur erbeten werden zu einer Sache, die Gott-gewollt ist, nimmer aber zu einem Beginnen, das sichtlich den Stempel des Bösen trägt. Für Recht und Gerechtigkeit zu streiten, wird immer dem Willen Gottes entsprechen. Wie verschieden ist der Begriff von Recht und Gerechtigkeit.... das ist es, was geklärt werden muß.... Das irrige Denken der Menschen hat eine Auffassung gezeitigt, die jedes Rechtsempfinden zu ersticken droht. Recht ist, was dem Gebot der Liebe entspricht.... Recht ist, was Gott durch Seine Gebote den Menschen kundgetan hat.... Recht ist, was nicht gegen die göttliche Ordnung verstößt, und göttliche Ordnung ist immer der göttliche Wille.... Also muß alles gerechte Handeln dem göttlichen Willen entsprechen. Gott aber will, daß die Menschen Ihn lieben und den Nächsten wie sich selbst. Wird dieses Gebot allem Handeln zugrunde gelegt, so wird der Mensch stets recht und gerecht sein. "Die Rache ist Mein", spricht der Herr.... So also der Nächste sich versündigt hat gegen den Menschen, so soll dieser nicht Vergeltung üben, sondern sie dem Herrn überlassen, zumeist aber ist der Vergeltungsdrang Ursache eines Kampfes, verbunden mit Besitzgier und Machthunger. Dies aber kann nicht recht sein vor Gott. Es werden dann alle göttlichen Gebote außer acht gelassen, es wird nicht gekämpft gegen einen Übeltäter in gerechter Weise, sondern es fügt der Kämpfende der bestehenden Übeltat eine weit größere zu, so er nun seinerseits Vergeltung übt, oft in grausamster Weise. Und Gott anzurufen um Stärkung seiner Macht ist vermessen, denn er mutet Gott zu, ein Unrecht gutzuheißen und ein Beginnen zu segnen, das geboren ist aus schlechten Gedanken, die ihren Ursprung haben nicht in der Liebe, sondern im Haß gegen die Mitmenschen. Also müsset ihr Menschen unterscheiden und stets den Maßstab anlegen daran, wie weit das Gebot der Liebe zu Gott und dem Nächsten beachtet wird von jenen, die gegeneinander streiten.
