Constant struggle.... joyful service.... victory....
It remains a constant battle against the power which wants to bring about the apostasy from God, for it uses all means to seize people's will again and therefore great resistance has to be put up in order to successfully counter it. And therefore the human being's soul is constantly in danger as long as it is fickle and thereby grants the enemy a certain amount of power over itself. It certainly proves its will towards God through deeds if it dedicates itself to the task set to it despite inner reluctance and also openly professes its faith in God, yet joyful service can only be regarded as victory, only then will the adversary give up his endeavour and the human being will then effortlessly reach his goal. The world must be completely overcome, only then is God's spirit so close that everything appears comprehensible to the human being which previously seemed incomprehensible to him. For only now can he instruct him and be active in enlightening man....

Ständiger Kampf.... Freudiges Dienen.... Sieg....
Es bleibt ein ständiges Kämpfen gegen die Macht, die den Abfall von Gott herbeiführen will, denn diese wendet alle Mittel an, um sich des Willens der Menschen wieder zu bemächtigen, und daher muß großer Widerstand geleistet werden, um ihr erfolgreich begegnen zu können. Und es ist daher die Seele des Menschen ständig in Gefahr, solange sie wankelmütig ist und dadurch dem Feind eine gewisse Macht über sich einräumt. Sie beweist zwar ihren Willen zu Gott durch die Tat, so sie sich trotz innerem Sträuben der ihr gestellten Aufgabe widmet und sich auch offen zu Gott bekennt, doch das freudige Dienen kann erst als Sieg gelten, erst dann gibt der Widersacher sein Bemühen auf, und der Mensch erreicht nun mühelos sein Ziel. Es muß die Welt gänzlich überwunden sein, dann erst ist Gottes Geist so nahe, daß alles dem Menschen faßbar erscheint, was zuvor ihm unverständlich dünkte. Denn nun erst kann er ihn belehren und aufklärend tätig sein im Menschen....
