Battle of the beings of light for souls that are too weak....

The soul longs for redemption even if it walks a wrong path on earth. It is well aware of its error, it is just too weak to free itself from its fetters, otherwise no guilt would be attributed to it and thus it would not have to fear retribution in the beyond either. For she is free at any time to strengthen her weak will and to request strength for her self-redemption, so that she therefore only needs to use her free will. It certainly has to overcome great difficulties in order to reach the height, but not too much or unrealizable is demanded of it, since the strength to do so is at its disposal to the same extent. However, if it uses its free will in the opposite way, if it turns to the adversary of its own accord, thus desires the strength to act and think there, then it will also receive it from there and its path will lead downwards towards destruction. The adversary will now try to cloud this soul's consciousness by granting it everything on earth which puts it into a state of contentment; he will fulfil the earthly desire and thus try to numb the soul so that it makes no effort to become free from the power dominating it. And he would now have won the game if the soul had not been incredibly fought over by the good spiritual side. It will not surrender the soul to the adversary without a fight. And therefore the beings of light tirelessly influence such souls by trying to mentally present them with the great danger they are in. Hence even the human being who has unhesitatingly handed himself over to evil power will at times occupy himself with thoughts which he does not like, for he will not be left unwarned if he takes the wrong path. Insofar as he now realizes that his path is wrong and he now has the will to take a different path, the strength is already at his disposal, which he may only use in order to free himself from evil power. However, if he rejects the help of the beings of light then he is hopelessly exposed to the power of evil and such souls are lost for eternity, i.e. they willfully strive towards the state again which has kept them banished throughout eternity. The more the human being's will surrenders to the adversary, the greater his power will be, and once the will has been weakened by him it will be increasingly difficult for the soul to free itself from its shackles. And yet the state of a soul is not hopeless as long as good spiritual strength is endeavouring to take care of it, i.e. as long as the soul allows both powers to have an effect on it, i.e. as long as it does not exactly resist the good strength. Then there is still hope that it will turn its will towards these forces. And then the danger of downfall for this soul is over. Then the good powers can contribute to the increase of the will, and the more the soul grants the good forces power over itself the easier the release from the power of the adversary will become, so that it can now assert its whole influence. And the soul will succeed in finding the right path upwards....

Strijd van de lichtwezens om de te zwakke zielen

De ziel verlangt naar bevrijding, ook wanneer ze op aarde een verkeerde weg bewandelt. Ze is zich weliswaar van haar dwaling bewust, maar te zwak om zich uit haar boeien te bevrijden. Anders zou haar geen schuld toe te kennen zijn en zou ze in het hiernamaals geen vergelding te vrezen hebben. Want het staat haar altijd vrij om haar zwakke wil te versterken en te vragen om kracht om zichzelf te verlossen, zodat ze dus slechts haar vrije wil hoeft te gebruiken. Ze moet wel grote moeilijkheden overwinnen om tot de hoogte te geraken, maar er wordt niet te veel of iets onvervulbaars van haar verlangd, omdat haar in dezelfde mate de kracht daartoe ter beschikking staat.

Wanneer ze echter haar vrije wil op de tegenovergestelde manier gebruikt, wanneer ze zich uit eigen beweging naar de tegenstander toekeert, dus de kracht om te handelen en te denken daar vandaan verlangt, dan zal ze ook van daar ontvangen worden en haar weg leidt neerwaarts, het verderf tegemoet. De tegenstander zal nu proberen om het bewustzijn van deze ziel te vertroebelen, doordat hij haar op aarde alles toekent, wat haar tevreden stelt. Hij zal het aardse verlangen vervullen en dus proberen om de ziel te bedwelmen, opdat ze niet te veel moeite doet om vrij te worden van de macht, die haar overheerst.

En hij zou nu een gewonnen spel spelen, wanneer er van goede geestelijke zijde niet ongelofelijk om deze zielen geworsteld zou worden. De tegenstander zal de ziel niet zonder strijd afstaan. En daarom werken de lichtwezens onvermoeibaar op zulke zielen in, door te proberen om via de gedachten hun het grote gevaar bekend te maken, waarin ze zich bevinden.

Daarom zal ook de mens, die zich zonder bezwaar aan de boze macht uitgeleverd heeft, zich af en toe met gedachten bezighouden, die hem niet bevallen, want hij wordt niet zonder waarschuwing gelaten, als hij een verkeerde weg gaat. Als hij nu tot het inzicht komt, dat zijn weg verkeerd is en hij nu de wil heeft om een andere weg in te slaan, dan staat hem ook al de kracht ter beschikking, die hij alleen mag benutten om zich te bevrijden van de boze macht.

Maar als hij de hulp van de kant van de lichtwezens afwijst, dan is hij hopeloos aan de macht van het kwaad prijsgegeven en zulke zielen gaan voor eeuwige tijden verloren. Dat wil zeggen, dat ze eigenzinnig weer die toestand nastreven, die deze zielen sinds onheuglijke tijden gebonden hield. De macht van de tegenstander is des te groter, naarmate de wil van de mens zich meer aan hem uitlevert. En als de wil eerst eenmaal door hem verzwakt is, wordt het steeds moeilijker voor de ziel om zich los te maken uit haar boeien.

En toch is de toestand van een ziel niet hopeloos, zolang goede geestelijke krachten zich voor haar inspannen. Dat wil zeggen, zolang de ziel beide krachten op zich in laat werken, dus zich niet juist tegen de goede geestelijke krachten verzet. Dan bestaat er nog steeds de hoop, dat ze haar wil naar deze krachten toekeert. En dan is het gevaar voor de ondergang van deze ziel voorbij. Dan kunnen de goede geestelijke krachten aan de versterking van de wil bijdragen en het zich losmaken uit de macht van de tegenstander zal steeds makkelijker worden, naarmate de ziel de goede krachten meer macht over zich geeft, zodat deze krachten nu hun gehele invloed kunnen doen gelden. En het zal de ziel lukken om de juiste weg naar de hoogte te vinden.
