Lack of strength.... prayer.... sigh of relief....

People often lack the strength to live, and it emerges from this that they desire too little strength from God, that they try to master everything by themselves but that their own strength is not sufficient against strong opposition and that they should therefore seek help where the outcome of every event is. Whether hardship and worry come upon people through their own fault or whether God Himself sends them suffering as a test, strength from God must always be called upon if this hardship is to be overcome. But man has lost this realization that God only wants to reveal Himself through suffering so that man remembers Him and takes refuge in Him. The will is extraordinarily weakened so that he often allows himself to be ruled by the adversity indifferently and without resistance instead of wanting to fight everything that is difficult and calling upon God's help to do so. If God is called upon for help, he will succeed in freeing himself from both the lethargy of the spirit and the captivity of the soul.... For the will to liberate oneself will become strong. The basic evil always has to be removed first, the will has to be freed again from the power of the adversary who has bound it, then it will express itself again according to God's will. And again the human being must come to the father of his own accord in his greatest need.... He must pray, for only prayer in spirit and in truth reaches God, and only this prayer can be answered by God. The sigh for strength can be sent up to the father in the most difficult emergency.... The more fervently and imploringly it rises to the heights, the more surely it will be heard. For God waits for this call that comes from the heart.... God wants the child on earth to stretch out its hands longingly towards Him, He wants it to regocnize its own weakness and surrender itself to the father in heaven.... that it desires to avail itself of His love and grace.... He wants it to come to Him in every need.... for He is willing to distribute His strength if only it is desired. Receive God into your hearts, regocnize that He is close to you and only waits until your heart turns to Him. Do not seek Him in the distance, open your heart and hear His voice.... He speaks to you like a loving father and will comfort you if you present your adversity to Him, for He is love after all, and this love wants to help you, yet you must desire it with an alert spirit, you must request strength from God at every hour, for every action and in every situation in life.... You must ask God for deliverance from the adversity you have caused yourselves by granting the adversary power over you and thereby weakening your will. Fervently ask God for deliverance from his power and you will truly not make a wrong request....

Mangel an Kraft.... Gebet.... Stoßseufzer....

Die Kraft zum Leben mangelt den Menschen oft, und es geht daraus hervor, daß sie zu wenig die Kraft aus Gott begehren, daß sie alles aus sich selbst zu meistern suchen, gegen starke Widerstände aber ihre eigene Kraft nicht ausreicht und sie deshalb dort Hilfe suchen sollen, wo der Ausgang jeglichen Geschehens ist. Ob Not und Sorge durch eigenes Verschulden über den Menschen kommt oder ob Gott Selbst ihnen das Leid zur Prüfung schickt, immer muß die Kraft aus Gott angefordert werden, soll diese Not weichen. Doch es hat der Mensch diese Erkenntnis verloren, daß Gott Sich nur durch Leid zu erkennen geben will, damit der Mensch Seiner gedenke und Zuflucht zu Ihm nehme. Es ist der Wille außerordentlich geschwächt, so daß er sich oft teilnahmslos und ohne Widerstand von der Notlage beherrschen läßt, anstatt alles Schwere bekämpfen zu wollen und Gottes Hilfe dazu in Anspruch zu nehmen. So Gott angerufen wird um Hilfe, wird es ihm gelingen, sich zu befreien, sowohl aus der Lethargie des Geistes wie der Gefangenschaft der Seele.... Denn es wird der Wille zur Selbstbefreiung stark werden. Es muß immer erst das Grundübel beseitigt werden, es muß der Wille wieder frei werden aus der Gewalt des Widersachers, der ihn gebunden hat, alsdann wird er wieder sich äußern dem Willen Gottes gemäß. Und wiederum muß der Mensch in seiner größten Not von selbst zum Vater kommen.... Er muß beten, denn nur das Gebet im Geist und in der Wahrheit dringt zu Gott empor, und nur diesem Gebet kann von Gott entsprochen werden. Der Stoßseufzer um Kraft kann in der schwersten Notlage emporgesendet werden zum Vater.... Je inniger und flehentlicher er zur Höhe steigt, desto sicherer wird er erhört werden. Denn Gott wartet auf diesen Ruf, der von Herzen kommt.... Gott will, daß das Kind auf Erden verlangend die Hände ausstreckt nach Ihm, Er will, daß es seine eigene Schwäche erkennt und sich hingebend dem Vater im Himmel überläßt.... daß es Seine Liebe und Gnade in Anspruch zu nehmen begehrt.... Er will, daß es zu Ihm kommt in jeder Not.... denn Er ist willig, Seine Kraft auszuteilen, so sie nur begehrt wird. Nehmet Gott auf in eure Herzen, erkennet, daß Er in eurer nächsten Nähe ist und nur wartet, bis euer Herz sich Ihm zuwendet. Suchet Ihn nicht in der Ferne, öffnet euer Herz und vernehmet Seine Stimme.... Er spricht zu euch wie ein liebreicher Vater und wird euch trösten, so ihr eure Not Ihm vortraget, denn Er ist ja die Liebe, und diese Liebe will euch helfen, doch ihr müßt sie wachen Geistes begehren, ihr müßt die Kraft aus Gott anfordern zu jeder Stunde, zu jeder Handlung und in jeder Lebenslage.... Ihr müßt Gott bitten um Erlösung aus der Not, die ihr selbst verschuldet habt, indem ihr auch dem Widersacher Macht über euch eingeräumt habt und dadurch euer Wille geschwächt wurde. Bittet Gott inniglich um Erlösung aus seiner Gewalt, und ihr werdet wahrlich keine Fehlbitte tun....
