Insight into the realm beyond.... spiritual seeing and reproducing....

It is up to the human being's will to gain insight into the kingdom which is otherwise closed to him because it exists outside of everything earthly. He only has to adjust himself likewise extraterrestrially.... he must send that which is supernatural in him.... the spiritual spark which God has placed in his heart as a particle of Himself.... to where his actual home is. The spiritual within him strives towards the spiritual outside the earth, and this spiritual guides it and leads it into eternal glory. The spirit in the human being can therefore see everything and nothing remains hidden from it, yet it is not always possible to make what the spirit sees accessible to the human being's soul.... The soul must first have developed its senses in such a way that it is able to take in what is offered to it. It must first desire the spiritual before it pays attention to the earthly. And this requires a strong will on the part of the human being and a deep desire for spiritual impressions: But if both are present, then there are no limits for the human being. He can let his gaze wander into that land which is unimaginable in its splendour. All earthly concepts such as constraint, limitation and imperfection are eliminated. What presents itself to the eyes of the spiritual observer is fullest harmony, noblest lines, indescribable in its colouring, light and lively and not bound to the narrow limits of earthly life. Everything is light and bright, and nothing inharmonious disturbs the graceful picture.... It is a harmonious peace and yet nothing dead.... it breathes life and love, it is incomparable beauty, and it is the most varied impressions that the spirit of God wants to convey to his soul, but which cannot be grasped by human senses. It is therefore extremely difficult to reproduce what has been seen, for man's imagination is too small to be able to form a true picture; yet what the spirit has seen once remains in him and he repeatedly seeks out those realms in order to gather new impressions. Sometimes it succeeds in conveying such impressions to the soul, and this always happens when the desire for it has become so strong in the human being that he completely forgets the earth. Then the separation from the physical bondage is easier and the receptivity for spiritual images is greater. These are unimaginable glories which the human eye could never behold, because splendour and magnificence would blind it, and only a very high degree of maturity can endure conscious beholding. Man must have lost all connection with earth, then it is possible for him to have a look into those spheres already in earthly existence. But in order to grant people a small insight into those glories, God instructs His messengers to awaken the gift of imagination in some people in order to be able to reproduce approximately in pictures what they have seen spiritually and conveyed to the soul, so that the desire for those glories is awakened and increased. However, the beauty of the forms, the radiant splendour of the colours, the diversity of the wonders of creation cannot be reproduced, for the boldest fantasies do not even come close to those glories. And so it is only possible to tell the children of earth to a limited extent, and only the deepest desire for it removes the veil that is spread over everything as long as the being still belongs to earth.... Yet it is possible for the sincerely striving person to lift this veil and consciously look into the kingdom beyond, but then his departure from this world is not far away....

저세상의 영역에 대한 통찰력. 영적으로 보고 설명하는 일.

모든 세상적인 것의 밖에 존재하기 때문에 일반적으로 사람에게 닫혀 있는 나라에 관한 통찰력을 얻는 일은 사람의 의지에 달려 있다. 그 자신이 마찬가지로 이 땅 밖의 세계에 맞는 자세를 가져야만 한다. 그는 자신 안에 있는 초자연적인, 하나님이 자신의 일부로서 그의 심장 안에 넣어 준, 영의 불씨를 자신의 진정한 본향으로 보내야만 한다. 그 안에 있는 영적인 존재는 이 땅의 밖의 영적인 존재를 향해 나아간다. 이런 영적인 존재가 그를 지도하여, 영원한 영광으로 인도한다.

그러므로 사람 안의 영은 모든 것을 볼 수 있고, 그에게 숨겨진 것은 아무것도 없다. 그러나 영이 본 것을 인간의 혼에게 접근할 수 있게 해주는 일이 항상 가능한 일은 아니다. 혼이 먼저 주어진 것을 받을 수 있는 방식으로 자신의 감각을 발달시켜야만 한다. 혼은 세상을 존중하기 전에 먼저 영적인 존재를 갈망해야만 한다. 이를 위해 사람에게 강한 의지와 영적인 인상을 얻으려는 깊은 갈망이 필요하다. 그러나 두 가지가 다 존재한다면, 그 사람에게 제한이 없다. 그는 자신의 시선이 그의 영광을 상상할 수 없는 저제상을 다니게 할 수 있다.

모든 이 땅의 개념인 강요와 제한과 온전하지 못함은 사라진다. 영적으로 보는 사람의 눈에 제시되는 것은 가장 완벽한 조화와, 가장 고상한 선의 처리와, 설명할 수 없는 색조와 가볍고, 날아다니며, 이 땅의 삶의 좁은 한계에 묶여 있지 않다. 모든 것이 빛나고, 밝고, 어떤 조화롭지 못한 것도 우아한 그림을 방해하지 않는다. 이는 조화로운 평화이고, 죽음이 없다. 모든 생명과 사랑이 호흡을 하고, 비교할 수 없게 아름답다. 하나님으로부터 온 영이 그의 혼에 전하고 싶어하는 것은 최고로 다양한 인상들이다. 그러나 인간의 감각으로는 이해할 수 없다. 그러므로 본 것을 재현해내는 일은 극히 어렵다. 왜냐하면 인간의 상상력이 너무 작아, 진리에 합당하게 본 것을 묘사할 수 없기 때문이다. 그러나 영이 한번 본 것은 그 안에 남아 있는다. 그는 항상 또 다시 새로운 인상을 수집하기 위해 그 영역을 찾는다. 실제 때때로 혼에게 이런 인상을 전달하려는 소원이 사람 안에서 강하게 되면, 혼에게 전해주는 일은 성공을 하고, 그는 이 땅을 전적으로 잊는다. 그러면 육체의 사슬로부터 분리가 쉽게 일어나고, 영적인 형상에 대한 수용력은 더 커진다. 이는 인간의 눈으로는 결코 볼 수 없는 상상할 수 없는 영광스러운 것들이다. 왜냐하면 화려함과 웅장함이 눈을 부시게 하고, 단지 매우 높은 성장정도가 의식적으로 볼 수 있게 해주기 때문이다.

인간은 이 땅과의 모든 연결을 잃었음에 틀림없다. 그러면 그는 이 땅에서 이미 이런 영역을 볼 수 있게 된다. 그러나 사람들에게 이런 영광에 대해 약간의 통찰력을 주기 위해, 하나님은 자신의 일꾼을 통해 몇몇 사람들의 상상력을 깨우게 하여, 그들이 영적으로 보고 혼에게 전달한 것을 대략적인 방식으로 재현할 수 있게 한다. 이로써 이런 영광을 향한 욕망이 깨어나고 증가되게 한다.

그러나 형태의 아름다움과 화려한 색상과 창조의 기적의 다양성은 재현할 수 없다. 왜냐하면 가장 세심한 환상도 그런 영광에 가장 적게라도 가까워질 수 없기 때문이다. 이처럼 이 땅의 자녀들에게 알려주는 일은 제한된 범위에서만 가능하다. 단지 가장 긴밀한 갈망이, 존재가 아직 이 땅에 속해 있는 한, 모든 것을 덥고 있는 천을 제거한다. 그러나 진지하게 추구하는 사람에게는 이런 천을 거두는 일이, 의식적으로 저세상을 보는 일이 가능하다. 그러나 그러면 그가 이 땅을 떠날 날이 더 이상 멀리에 있지 않다.
