Lack of trust in God.... weakness of faith....

The steadfastness of faith lies only in a constant attitude which is turned towards God.... It is inevitable that a person will waver if his train of thought moves away from God. Faith is always the result of a deep connection with Him, for the feeling of belonging to Him makes it impossible to waver. The more intimately the heart beats towards the divine father, the stronger and more unshakeable is faith. The child's intimate relationship with the father must therefore never be disturbed. For then divine strength can also flow to the human being without interruption, and this strength first expresses itself in a strong faith and joyful confession of faith to the world around him and in a joyful affirmation of life. His gaze is clear, his train of thought is in accordance with the divine will and everything he does and does not do is likewise in accordance with God's will. The child seeks the closeness of the father, and this also brings him complete peace and security, for all his thoughts are then rightly guided. And every separation from Him will be noticeable to a person who longs for God.... for once he has been allowed to enjoy the security of the father's heart, every state of separation from Him will be perceived as torment.... He lacks security, persuasiveness and trust.... he lacks faith.... he is weak and without inner peace, because he lacks the closeness of the father.... And this is often the result of a lack of trust in God in earthly adversity. Every earthly need should be confidently presented to the father in heaven. However, if the human being allows himself to be overwhelmed and, instead of joining God all the more intimately, loosens the bond that connects him to the father in heaven, the strength will also diminish and this will result in a weakness of faith. You can achieve nothing without God.... With God you will win every battle, without God you will lose. Earthly things separate you from God time and again, and yet this is your own fault, for God does not command your thoughts, therefore do not let them wander away from Him and turn to other things, for this will not satisfy you, you will walk along in constant restlessness until you have found your way back.... Trust in God is faith.... and a believing earthly child should not allow itself to be shaken by anything, it should surrender itself unconditionally to the father in heaven, only then will it feel the strength of deep faith in itself and accept all the difficulties in life without worry, for they are always touchstones of faith that must not cause a person to fall.

부족한 하나님을 향한 신뢰. 연약한 믿음.

단지 하나님을 향한 똑같은 생각에 머무는 일이 믿음을 굳게 하다. 생각이 하나님으로부터 멀어지면, 사람이 흔들리게 되는 일은 불가피하다. 믿음은 항상 하나님과 깊은 연결의 결과이다. 왜냐하면 함께 연합되어 있다는 느낌이 불안정해지는 일을 불가능하게 만들기 때문이다. 심장이 이제 하나님의 아버지를 향해 더 긴밀하게 뛸수록, 믿음은 더 강해지고 흔들리지 않게 된다. 그러므로 자녀의 아버지와의 긴밀한 관계는 절대로 방해를 받아서는 안 된다. 그러면 하나님의 힘이 사람들에게 중단이 없이 공급될 수 있고, 이 힘은 먼저 강한 믿음으로, 그리고 주변의 세계를 향한 즐거운 믿음의 고백으로, 그리고 삶을 향한 낙천적인 태도로 표현된다. 그의 시선은 선명해지고, 그의 생각은 하나님의 뜻에 합당하고, 모든 행하는 일과 행하지 않은 일은 마찬가지로 하나님이 원한 것이다.

자녀는 아버지 가까이에 다가 가려고 한다. 이런 일이 또한 그에게 완전한 평안과 안전감을 준다. 왜냐하면 그의 모든 생각이 올바른 인도를 받기 때문이다. 하나님을 갈망하는 사람은 모든 하나님으로부터 분리되는 일을 느낄 수 있게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그가 한번 아버지의 심장 안에서 안전을 누릴 수 있게 되면, 아버지와의 모든 분리 상태는 그에게 고통으로 느껴질 것이기 때문이다. 그에게 안전감과, 설득하는 능력과 신뢰가 부족하게 된다. 그에게 믿음이 부족하게 된다. 그는 연약해지고, 내면의 평화가 사라지게 된다. 왜냐하면 그가 아버지의 임재 가운데 있지 못하기 때문이다.

이런 일은 자주 이 땅의 고난 가운데 하나님을 향한 신뢰가 부족한 결과이다. 모든 이 땅의 고난 가운데 필요한 모든 것을 하늘의 아버지께 확신을 가지고 아뢰야 한다. 그러나 사람이 하나님과 더 긴밀하게 하나가 되는 대신, 자신을 압도당하게 하고, 하늘의 아버지와 연결해주는 유대를 풀면, 힘도 또한 줄어들 것이고, 이런 일이 믿음을 약하게 할 것이다. 너희는 하나님이 없이는 아무것도 이룰 수 없다. 너희는 하나님과 함께 모든 전투를 이긴다. 너희는 하나님 없이는 패배할 것이다.

세상의 것들이 너희를 항상 또 다시 하나님으로부터 분리시킨다. 그러나 이런 일은 너희 자신의 잘못이다. 왜냐하면 하나님은 너희가 생각하도록 명령하지 않기 때문이다. 그러므로 생각이 하나님을 떠나, 다른 것으로 향하지 않게 하라. 왜냐하면 이런 일이 너희를 만족시켜주지 못할 것이기 때문이다. 너희는 너희가 돌아갈 길을 찾을 때까지 항상 불안감을 계속 갖게 될 것이다. 하나님을 신뢰하는 일이 믿음이다. 믿음을 가진 이 땅의 자녀는 어떤 것에 의해서도 흔들려서는 안 된다. 그는 무조건 하늘의 아버지께 자신을 넘겨드려야 한다. 그러면 그는 비로소 자신 안에서 깊은 믿음의 힘을 느끼게 되고, 염려하지 않고 삶의 모든 어려움을 받아드리게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 모든 어려움은 항상 사람들을 타락하게 만들어서는 안되는 믿음의 시험석이기 때문이다.
