The deepest understanding of spiritual teachings can only be expected where there is also the will to be enlightened. For if the human being desires to know then he will also open his heart to the one giving out knowledge; he will take the trouble to think through what he has received and will now also be able to distinguish truth from error, for He Who sends the truth to the human being wants it to be received. Thus He will also give the one who desires truth the power of realization to regard truth as such and to deny everything that is untrue. If the human being now seeks to penetrate spiritual territory he thereby demonstrates the will to cultivate his inner life.... Separation from matter sets in, it no longer holds him exclusively captive, even if it has not yet been completely overcome. Forming the soul is the only task of earthly life; thus, if the human being pays attention to everything that benefits the soul, he begins to take the task seriously. It is now also understandable that such a soul is offered help from all sides, that all mature spirituality takes care of such souls and gives enlightenment where this is desired. Whoever carries out the work on his soul carelessly and superficially can understandably also not be given as much spiritual strength as a person who strives for perfection with all his senses. Once the human being has realized that his stay on earth is not for eternity, but if he also has the inner certainty that the life of the soul does not end with bodily death, then the human being's urge to reach a higher degree of spiritual maturity will also become stronger and he will then seek to penetrate spiritual knowledge. recognizing his purpose in life on earth involuntarily triggers an increased urge to act.... For the knowing person consciously approaches his fulfilment.... The knowledgeable person no longer gropes his way through the darkness, but takes firm steps along a brightly lit path. He desires only the light.... the truth.... the knowledge. And because he desires, he will also have the fullest understanding of everything spiritual, nothing will be incomprehensible to him, nothing inexplicable, but everything will be just one single solution to what was previously incomprehensible to him. It is the spiritual hunger that drives such people to penetrate ever deeper into the spiritual.... and which is nevertheless satisfied again and again because it is divine will that food and drink is offered to him who desires spiritual nourishment. And therefore no being, both on earth and in the beyond, will go away empty-handed if it desires to be guided into spiritual truth, for this is pleasing to God.... Seek, and ye shall find.... knock and it will be opened to you.... The lord repeatedly admonishes His own to seek the connection with Him.... He wants to point out to them that they will not strive in vain and that their requests will always be fulfilled. For He distributes spiritual goods without measure, and a person who begs the father in heaven for enlightenment, for the illumination of his spirit, will never make a wrong request. The desire for what is God's.... for spiritual knowledge.... will be fulfilled at all times, but the desire for matter will only be granted a little from the divine side, unless the latter is not a hindrance to the former. Do not take care of the body's needs.... says the lord.... And again this is an indication that only what the spirit desires is of value.... for what the body needs is given to everyone who only thinks of his soul.

The blessing of spiritual labour also extends to earthly life and its demands, and those who seek to perfect themselves spiritually will have less to struggle with. For he regocnizes his task, and it is precisely the attainment of this realization that so often requires the difficult struggle of earthly life. Therefore, the human being can be spared it once he has gained this realization. If a person cares for his soul of his own accord, God cares for his life.... He provides him with everything he needs and keeps earthly worries away from him, insofar as this serves the advancement of his soul....

Comprender las enseñanzas espirituales.... Bendición del trabajo espiritual Necesidades terrenales....

La comprensión más profunda de la enseñanza espiritual sólo se puede esperar allí donde también existe la voluntad de ser iluminado. Porque si el hombre pide saber, también abre su corazón a quien distribuye el conocimiento; hace el esfuerzo de reflexionar sobre lo que ha recibido y ahora podrá distinguir la verdad del error, porque quien deja que la verdad llegue a los hombres también quiere que esta encuentra su entrada. Así también dará al hombre que desea la verdad el poder cognitivo para ver la verdad como tal y negar todo lo que es falso. Si un hombre ahora busca penetrar en el área espiritual, demuestra con ello la voluntad de cultivar su vida interior.... Comienza la separación de la materia, ya no lo mantiene exclusivamente prisionero, aunque aún no ha sido superado por completo.

Formar el alma es la única tarea de la vida en la tierra; Si una persona presta atención a todo lo que beneficia el alma, comienza a tomarse la tarea en serio. Ahora también es comprensible que a un alma así se le ofrezca ayuda de todas partes, que todo lo que esté espiritualmente maduro se ocupe de ella y le dé la aclaración allí donde esta sea deseada. Quien trabaja en su alma de manera descuidada y superficialmente, no puede, comprensiblemente, estar dotado de tanta fuerza espiritual como quien lucha por la perfección con todos sus sentidos. Una vez que el hombre ha entendido que su estancia en la tierra no dura para siempre, también tiene la certeza interior de que la vida del alma no termina con la muerte física, entonces el impulso en el hombre también se hará más fuerte para lograr un grado de madurez espiritual superior y entonces tratará de penetrar en el conocimiento espiritual más profundo.

El reconocimiento del propósito de su vida terrenal desencadena involuntariamente u mayor impulso de acción.... Porque el hombre que sabe se propone conscientemente alcanzar su perfección.... El hombre que sabe ya no busca a tientas su camino a través de la oscuridad, sino que toma con paso firme un camino bien iluminado. Él desea sólo la luz.... la verdad.... el conocimiento. Y como desea, también tendrá plena comprensión de todo lo espiritual; nada le resulta incomprensible, nada inexplicable. Sino que todo será sólo una única solución de lo que antes le resultaba incomprensible. Es el hambre espiritual que impulsa a tales hombres a penetrar cada vez más profundamente en lo espiritual.... y que todavía se satisface una y otra vez porque es voluntad divina que se ofrezca comida y bebida a quienes desean alimento espiritual. Por lo tanto, ningún ser, ni en la tierra ni en el más allá, se va con las manos vacías si desea ser guiado a la verdad espiritual, porque esto agrada a Dios....

Buscad y encontraréis.... llamad y se os abrirá.... El Señor continuamente amonesta a los que son Suyos a buscar la conexión con Él.... Él quiere señalarles que no se esfuerzan en vano y que sus peticiones siempre serán atendidas. Porque Él distribuye bienes espirituales sin medida, y un hombre que suplica al Padre que está en el cielo por aclaración, por iluminación de su espíritu, nunca hará una petición en vano. El deseo de lo que es de Dios.... de conocimiento espiritual.... será satisfecho en cualquier momento, pero el deseo de la materia es sólo ligeramente correspondido por el lado divino, a menos que este último no sea un obstáculo para el primero. No os preocupéis por las necesidades del cuerpo.... dice el Señor.... Y nuevamente esto es una indicación de que sólo tiene valor lo que el espíritu desea.... porque lo que el cuerpo necesita le llega a todo aquel que solamente piensa en su alma....

La bendición de trabajo espiritual también se extiende a la vida terrenal y sus exigencias y aquel que busca perfeccionarse espiritualmente tendrá que luchar menos. Porque este reconoce su tarea y es precisamente la obtención de este conocimiento lo que a menudo requiere una difícil lucha en la vida terrenal. Así que sólo el hombre puede salvarse de esta lucha si este ha adquirido este conocimiento. Si un hombre cuida de su alma por iniciativa propia, Dios cuida de su vida.... Le proporciona todo lo que necesita y aleja de él las preocupaciones terrenas, siempre que sirve a la promoción de su alma....
