Jesus' death on the cross....

Imagining Jesus' death on the cross with all inwardness is so infinitely blessed for the soul that strives for the heights. It was the moment of greatest physical weakness and spiritual strength. Jesus saw His end coming and His spirit was already with the father, but the greatest pain still forced the body to earth and the soul suffered torment in excess because of the darkness of those who were responsible for His death. The suffering of the dying man on the cross was unspeakable, and only a deeply feeling soul can even begin to imagine the humiliations that increased His soul's suffering. He heard the most bitter reproaches from the depths of hell, His body was ostracized.... the whole world was dark and lightless, and the greatness of the guilt of sin lay as a tremendous burden on His shoulders.... He bore this burden and sent up the words: "Father, forgive them...." His soul was love, the most ardent, self-sacrificing love for all these people who were to blame for His unspeakable suffering. He drank the cup to the brim, His body grew weaker, until at last His soul parted and soared up to the father.... Jesus' death on the cross is of such incomprehensible significance for people, and yet this greatest work of love and mercy receives so little attention.... Only the person who is in love is able to measure the greatness of it, but for people without love Jesus' death is meaningless, because they lack any feeling for the sacrifice Jesus Christ made in immense love. For the divinity of Jesus.... the fullness of God's spirit in Him, withdrew from Him at the hour of death and the man Jesus accomplished this deed to redeem people from all guilt of sin. Consequently, the human being suffered, the hour of death was tasted by him without any relief, the body and the soul suffered unimaginable pain.... for only in this way could the work of redemption be accomplished so that humanity's suffering would diminish.... only in this way could all guilt of sin be cancelled, so that excessive love bore the suffering that this guilt of sin inevitably entailed. The world no longer has any understanding for this greatest work of love of a human being, it passes it by carelessly, indeed it seeks to devalue it by attaching no more importance to it than to the act of an idealist whose motives were only later justified in the way that christian doctrine does today. But it is precisely the redemption of man that is called into question, the idea of redemption is rejected and thus Jesus Christ is only regocnized as a world-historical person, but a spiritual connection with the whole of humanity is denied after His death. And this completely wrong thinking of people has made it necessary for the lord to take pity on people again, to convey the pure truth to them so that faith in the redemption through Jesus Christ will not be lost among people but will come alive in them again....

La muerte de Jesús en la cruz....

Imaginarse con toda interioridad la muerte de Jesús en la cruz es tan infinitamente beneficioso para el alma que aspira a las alturas. Fue el momento de mayor debilidad corporal y de fortaleza espiritual. Jesús vi venir su fin, y su espíritu ya estaba con el Padre, pero el dolor más grande aún obligaba al cuerpo a la tierra, y el alma padecía tormentos excesivos a causa de las tinieblas de los responsables de su muerte. El sufrimiento de la muerte en la cruz fue indescriptible, y sólo un alma sincera puede siquiera puede comenzar a imaginarse las humillaciones que aumentaron el sufrimiento de Su alma. Escucho los insultos más amargos desde las profundidades del infierno, Su cuerpo fue condenado al ostracismo.... el mundo entero estaba oscuro y sin luz, y la magnitud de la culpa del pecado recaía sobre Sus hombros como una enorme carga....

Él llevó esta carga y envió las palabras: “Padre, perdónalos....” Su alma era amor, el amor más ardiente y más sacrificado por todos estos humanos que eran culpables de Su indescriptible sufrimiento. Bebió la copa hasta el final, su cuerpo se debilitó, hasta que finalmente el alma se separó y ascendió al Padre.... La muerte de Jesús en la cruz tiene una importancia tan incomprensible para la gente, y sin embargo, esta obra más grande de Amor y misericordia encuentra tan poca atención.... Sólo el que ama puede medir la magnitud de ello, pero para los seres humanos sin amor la muerte de Jesús no tiene sentido, porque carecen de cualquier sentimiento por el sacrificio que Jesucristo en Su amor sumamente grande.

Porque la Divinidad de Jesús, el Espíritu de Dios presente en Él en toda plenitud, Se retiró de Él en la hora de la muerte, y el hombre Jesús realizó esta obra para redimir a los hombres de toda culpa del pecado. El ser humano por tanto sufrió, la hora de la muerte fue vivida sin ningún alivio, el cuerpo y el alma sufrieron dolores inimaginables.... porque sólo así se podría realizar la Obra de la Redención para que el sufrimiento de la humanidad fuera reducido.... Sólo de esta manera se podría borrar toda la culpa del pecado, que el amor excesivo cargara con el sufrimiento que esa culpa del pecado inevitablemente conllevaba.

El mundo ya no comprende esta gran Obra de Amor de un ser humano, la pasa por alta descuidadamente e incluso intenta devaluarla no dándole más significado que un acto de un idealista cuyos motivos se justificaron más tarde del tal manera en que la enseñanza cristiana lo hace hoy en día. Sin embargo, es precisamente la redención del hombre la que se pone en duda, se rechaza la idea de la redención y se reconoce a Jesucristo sólo como un personaje histórico mundial, pero se niega una conexión espiritual con toda la humanidad y su muerte. Y este pensamiento completamente equivocado por parte de los seres humanos ha hecho necesario que el Señor una vez más tenga misericordia de los hombres y les transmita la pura verdad, para que la fe en la Redención por medio de Jesucristo no se pierda entre los humanos, sino que vuelve a vivir en ellos....
