Forces of the earth's interior.... laws of nature.... will of man....

Just as worldly wisdom tries in vain to find an explanation as to which power controls the interior of the earth, it will also never be able to analyze these powers and will therefore attempt in vain to subject the unexplored earthly forces to its will. The divine creator Himself lets His will prevail and certainly guides the thinking of a believing person such that he comes close to the truth.... However, He has His plan with every creation, and thus people can only exert their human influence in such a way that they carry out what their own will dictates to them, but the effects of their actions, as far as they concern a transformation of the work of creation.... i.e. change of the earth's surface.... can never appear differently than God's will approves. Ultimately, the entire creation is subject to the divine will.... Only people's actions and thoughts are free.... Consequently, all thinking which does not have profound faith as a basic condition must remain without a final result; with such thinking the human being will only ever seek and search but never come to the right result.... So man is mistaken as long as he wants to attain knowledge without God, no matter which direction his thinking takes. The human being's intellectual knowledge is truly too limited to be able to investigate the forces of the earth's interior, for these forces, which are of purely spiritual origin, even if they are for the most part still at the beginning of their development, are so powerful and only restrained by God's will, i.e. forced to limit their urge to be active, for the strength of these unredeemed beings would suffice to destroy everything if they were allowed free activity. Since every activity of these forces is therefore dependent on God's will, it is again impossible that human will could utilize these forces in a way that is opposed to God, which, however, would be human will if it could intellectually penetrate the laws of nature which specifically concern the elements of the earth's interior. Only a man of faith comes closer to the truth, but he will never misuse his knowledge for anything other than God-ordained actions. Nothing in creation is without meaning, and so the forces in the earth will also have to fulfil their purpose when it corresponds to divine will. However, all these forces are subject to the same law, which initially aims to preserve what has been created. But if these forces express themselves destructively, then divine will is also at work there, and neither opposing force nor human will is the cause of such activity, but both are only indirect insofar as they have brought about the point in time through joint activity against God's will. Consequently, all natural disasters are certainly a consequence of the wrong will of man, but not an action brought about by man himself, and it must be emphasized time and again that a disaster can therefore never be explained in such a way that any disregard of physical forces on the part of man is the cause.... and that these forces could therefore be fathomed intellectually and weakened accordingly or their effects completely cancelled....

Forças do Interior da Terra.... Leis da Natureza.... Vontade do Homem....

Assim como a sabedoria mundana tenta em vão encontrar uma explicação sobre qual poder controla o interior da Terra, também nunca lhe será possível analisar essas forças e assim fazer tentativas vãs que se destinam a sujeitar as forças terrestres inexploradas à sua vontade. O próprio Criador divino permite que a Sua vontade prevaleça e certamente guia o pensamento de uma pessoa crente de tal forma que ele se aproxima da verdade.... No entanto, Ele tem o Seu plano para cada criação, e assim as pessoas só podem exercer a sua influência humana realizando o que a sua própria vontade lhes dita, mas os efeitos das suas acções, na medida em que dizem respeito a uma transformação do trabalho de criação.... ou seja, mudança da superfície da terra.... nunca poderá aparecer de outra forma que a vontade de Deus não aprove. Pois em última análise, toda a criação está sujeita à vontade divina.... Somente as ações e pensamentos dos seres humanos são livres.... Portanto, todo pensamento que não tem fé profunda como sua condição básica deve permanecer sem um resultado final, com tal pensamento o ser humano só buscará e buscará mas nunca chegará ao resultado certo.... Assim, o ser humano erra enquanto quer alcançar o conhecimento sem Deus, não importa a direção que seu pensamento tome. O conhecimento intelectual do ser humano é verdadeiramente limitado demais para poder explorar as forças do interior da Terra, pois essas forças, que são de origem puramente espiritual, mesmo que a maioria delas ainda esteja nas primeiras fases do seu desenvolvimento, são tão poderosas e só banidas pela vontade de Deus, ou seja, forçadas a restringir seu impulso para serem ativas, pois a força desses seres não redimidos seria suficiente para destruir tudo, se lhes fosse permitida a livre atividade. Como toda atividade destas forças depende, portanto, da vontade de Deus, é novamente impossível que a vontade humana possa fazer uso destas forças de um modo contrário a Deus, que, no entanto, seria a vontade humana se ele fosse capaz de penetrar intelectualmente as leis da natureza que dizem especificamente respeito aos elementos do interior da Terra. Apenas uma pessoa de fé se aproxima da verdade, mas nunca usará mal o seu conhecimento para outra coisa que não seja a vontade de Deus. Nada na criação é sem sentido e, portanto, as forças na Terra também terão de cumprir o seu propósito, se este corresponder à vontade divina. Todas estas forças, porém, estão sujeitas à mesma lei, que visa, antes de mais nada, a preservação do criado. Mas se essas forças se expressam destrutivamente, então a vontade divina também está em ação, e nem a força oposta nem a vontade humana são a causa de tal atividade, mas ambas são apenas indiretas, na medida em que trouxeram o momento através da atividade conjunta contra a vontade de Deus. Consequentemente, todos os desastres naturais são de facto o resultado da vontade errada da humanidade, mas não uma acção provocada pelas próprias pessoas, e é preciso sublinhar repetidamente que um desastre nunca pode ser explicado de tal forma que qualquer desconsideração das forças físicas por parte das pessoas seja a sua causa.... e que essas forças possam por isso ser racionalmente compreendidas e correspondentemente enfraquecidas ou que os seus efeitos sejam completamente anulados.....
