Forces of the earth's interior.... laws of nature.... will of man....

Just as worldly wisdom tries in vain to find an explanation as to which power controls the interior of the earth, it will also never be able to analyze these powers and will therefore attempt in vain to subject the unexplored earthly forces to its will. The divine creator Himself lets His will prevail and certainly guides the thinking of a believing person such that he comes close to the truth.... However, He has His plan with every creation, and thus people can only exert their human influence in such a way that they carry out what their own will dictates to them, but the effects of their actions, as far as they concern a transformation of the work of creation.... i.e. change of the earth's surface.... can never appear differently than God's will approves. Ultimately, the entire creation is subject to the divine will.... Only people's actions and thoughts are free.... Consequently, all thinking which does not have profound faith as a basic condition must remain without a final result; with such thinking the human being will only ever seek and search but never come to the right result.... So man is mistaken as long as he wants to attain knowledge without God, no matter which direction his thinking takes. The human being's intellectual knowledge is truly too limited to be able to investigate the forces of the earth's interior, for these forces, which are of purely spiritual origin, even if they are for the most part still at the beginning of their development, are so powerful and only restrained by God's will, i.e. forced to limit their urge to be active, for the strength of these unredeemed beings would suffice to destroy everything if they were allowed free activity. Since every activity of these forces is therefore dependent on God's will, it is again impossible that human will could utilize these forces in a way that is opposed to God, which, however, would be human will if it could intellectually penetrate the laws of nature which specifically concern the elements of the earth's interior. Only a man of faith comes closer to the truth, but he will never misuse his knowledge for anything other than God-ordained actions. Nothing in creation is without meaning, and so the forces in the earth will also have to fulfil their purpose when it corresponds to divine will. However, all these forces are subject to the same law, which initially aims to preserve what has been created. But if these forces express themselves destructively, then divine will is also at work there, and neither opposing force nor human will is the cause of such activity, but both are only indirect insofar as they have brought about the point in time through joint activity against God's will. Consequently, all natural disasters are certainly a consequence of the wrong will of man, but not an action brought about by man himself, and it must be emphasized time and again that a disaster can therefore never be explained in such a way that any disregard of physical forces on the part of man is the cause.... and that these forces could therefore be fathomed intellectually and weakened accordingly or their effects completely cancelled....

Le forze all’interno della Terra - Le leggi della natura - La volontà dell’uomo

Come la sapienza del mondo si sforza invano per trovare una spiegazione, quale Forza domina l’interno della Terra, non le sarà nemmeno mai possibile analizzare queste Forze, e quindi farà dei tentativi inutili, che devono avere lo scopo di sottomettere le Forze inesplorate della Terra alla loro volontà. Il Creatore divino Stesso lascia governare la Sua Volontà e guida bensì il pensare di un uomo credente in modo, che si avvicini alla Verità. Ma Lui ha il Suo Piano con ogni Creazione, e quindi gli uomini possono far valere la loro influenza umana soltanto nel modo da eseguire ciò che prescrive loro la propria volontà, ma gli effetti delle loro azioni, per quanto riguardano una trasformazione dell’Opera di Creazione, quindi il cambiamento della superficie della Terra, non potranno mai manifestarsi diversamente, di come li approva la Volontà di Dio, perché infine l’intera Creazione è sottoposta alla Volontà divina. Soltanto l’agire ed il pensare degli uomini è libero. Quindi, ogni pensare che non ha come condizione di base la profonda fede, deve rimanere senza definitivo risultato, l’uomo con un tale pensare vorrà sempre soltanto cercare e cercare, ma non giungerà mai al giusto risultato. Quindi l’uomo erra finché vuole giungere al sapere senza Dio, non importa, quale direzione prende questo suo pensare. Per poter ora esplorare le Forze dell’interno della Terra, il sapere d’intelletto dell’uomo è davvero troppo scarso, perché queste Forze, che sono di Origine puramente spirituale, stando però ancora per la maggior parte all’inizio del loro sviluppo, sono così potenti e bandite solo attraverso la Volontà di Dio, cioè costrette a limitare la loro spinta all’attività, perché basterebbe la forza di questi esseri non redenti a distruggere tutto, se venisse loro concessa una libera attività. Ma dato che quindi ogni attività di queste forze dipende dalla Volontà di Dio, è nuovamente impossibile che la volontà umana possa servirsi di queste forze nel modo opposto a Dio, cosa che però sarebbe la volontà dell’uomo, se potesse penetrare intellettualmente nelle leggi della natura, che riguardano specificamente gli elementi dell’interno della Terra. Solo un uomo stando nella fede si avvicina alla Verità, ma costui non abuserebbe mai e poi mai della sua conoscenza per un altro agire come invece è voluto da Dio. Nella Creazione nulla è senza senso, e così anche le forze nella Terra avranno poi da adempiere il loro scopo, quando corrisponde alla Volontà divina. Tutte queste forze però sono sottoposte alla stessa legge, che primariamente ha lo scopo della conservazione di tutto ciò che è creato. Ma se queste forze si manifestano in modo distruttivo, allora vi è anche all’Opera la Volontà divina, e per un tale agire non è motivo né la forza avversa né la volontà umana, ma ambedue soltanto indirettamente, in quanto hanno provocato il momento attraverso l’agire in comune contro la Volontà di Dio. Tutte le catastrofi della natura sono di conseguenza ben una conseguenza della volontà invertita dell’uomo, ma non una azione provocata dagli uomini stessi, e deve sempre di nuovo essere sottolineato, che quindi una catastrofe non può mai essere spiegata così, che una qualunque non osservanza di forze fisiche fosse il motivo da parte degli uomini, e che queste forze quindi potessero essere sondate intellettualmente e rispettivamente indebolite oppure i loro effetti totalmente sospesi.
