Lawfulness in nature.... will that has become form....

Research in spirit and you will regocnize that all life in nature takes place according to law. And if you now desire an explanation, you must turn questioningly to the author of this lawfulness, and you will receive enlightenment. The reign and activity of the eternal deity is most clearly recognizable in nature, for everything repeats itself in a certain order, always in the same period of time, always in the same sequence, in form and nature according to divine will. And so all becoming in nature is an eternally repeating process, which in turn is subject to a certain rhythm; and man can certainly bring about an apparent change in this order, but he can never interfere with the laws of the divine creator without any harmful effect. If God's creative spirit visibly expresses itself in everything that surrounds the human being and he is unable to stop or counteract God's activity, then there can surely be no doubt that a will controls everything and that the human being is therefore powerless against this will. He must realize that he too is subject to the same lawfulness and must therefore also be the product of this directing will of the lawgiver. And it follows from this that all natural coming into being would again be unthinkable if the divine creator wanted to withdraw His will from it, for everything that exists and comes into being is only the will of God that has become form. Anything arbitrary, irregular would certainly give rise to doubt, yet the tiniest work of creation testifies to unsurpassable wisdom and omnipotence, and anyone who attentively observes even the smallest work of creation can never deny himself the realization that an exceedingly wise designer must be at work Who creates and governs in the most exact order and most perfect regularity....

Gesetzmäßigkeit in der Natur.... Form gewordener Wille....

Forschet im Geist, und ihr werdet erkennen, daß alles Leben in der Natur gesetzmäßig sich abwickelt. Und so ihr nun eine Erklärung begehret, müsset ihr euch fragend wenden an den Urheber dieser Gesetzmäßigkeit, und es wird euch Aufklärung werden. Es ist in der Natur das Walten und Wirken der ewigen Gottheit klarstens erkennbar, denn es wiederholet sich alles in bestimmter Ordnung, in immer gleicher Zeitspanne, in immer gleicher Reihenfolge, in Form und Art je nach göttlichem Willen. Und es ist also alles Werden in der Natur ein ewig sich wiederholender Vorgang, der wiederum einem bestimmten Rhythmus unterliegt; und es kann wohl von seiten des Menschen eine scheinbare Umänderung dieser Ordnung herbeigeführt werden, niemals aber ohne irgendwelche schädliche Auswirkung eingegriffen werden in die Gesetze des göttlichen Schöpfers. So sich nun sichtlich der Schöpfergeist Gottes äußert in allem, was den Menschen umgibt, und er nicht imstande ist, das Wirken Gottes aufzuhalten oder dagegenzuwirken, so kann doch wohl auch kein Zweifel bestehen darüber, daß ein Wille alles beherrscht und daß der Mensch also diesem Willen gegenüber machtlos ist. Er muß einsehen, daß auch er der gleichen Gesetzmäßigkeit unterliegt, also gleichfalls Produkt dieses lenkenden Willens des Gesetzgebers sein muß. Und es folgert sich daraus, daß alles naturmäßige Entstehen wiederum undenkbar wäre, so der göttliche Schöpfer Seinen Willen davon zurückziehen möchte, denn es ist alles, was besteht und ersteht, nur der Form gewordene Wille Gottes. Alles Willkürliche, Unregelmäßige ließe wohl Zweifel aufkommen, doch es zeuget das winzigste Schöpfungswerk von unübertrefflicher Weisheit und Allmacht, und es kann, wer nur das kleinste Schöpfungswerk aufmerksam betrachtet, nimmermehr der Erkenntnis sich verschließen, daß ein überaus weiser Gestalter am Werk sein muß, Der in exaktester Ordnung und vollendetster Planmäßigkeit erschaffet und regieret....
