Charity motif....

The motive of christian neighbourly love has become completely different from what it should be from God, and this is due to the fact that humanity is no longer aware of how necessary 'love in itself ' is to return to the father and how everything in the universe is closely interwoven with the concept of love. Love for matter is spiritual death, but love for one's neighbour and thus for God as the creator of all things is spiritual life. Wherever only true love would be active, no spiritual decline could be recorded, but where love for matter predominates, all spirituality is completely lost. Love is the highest thing on earth and points the way to God.... however, if it applies to earthly possessions, it increases matter and pulls downwards.... The more a person is filled with the feeling of love, the more clearly the spirit in him will be able to express itself, but this love must be for God and his neighbour, not for matter. An extremely wrong way of thinking has now brought humanity so far that it is no longer able to distinguish what true, i.e. divine love is.... whether it springs from the heart or has its origin in the physical life of man, in purely physical desires. The person who is driven by inner love to do good incessantly does not think of any earthly reward, but this holy feeling of love is so fused with himself that he cannot help but be lovingly active.... He has the urge to help, comfort and give wherever his (love) help is needed. He does not calculate anxiously, he does not give to his neighbour in a measured way, but is only imbued with deep love for his neighbour, and this is the right love before God, which is also the right path to eternal life.... The human being, however, who only remains in matter, is only intent on increasing matter on earth, i.e. earthly goods, and deriving his advantage from everything. If he now helps his neighbour, it is always only a certain calculation to gain some kind of benefit from it, and pure, unselfish neighbourly love is a concept he does not understand. But calculating love can never have a redeeming effect, and charity is again the greatest factor that must be reckoned with.... Man is supposed to redeem himself through love, but the love of possessions usually takes precedence and prevents him from practicing unselfish love. Consequently, anyone who wants to comply with the divine commandment must willingly renounce matter, he must learn to despise it, only then can pure love fill his heart.... he learns to love God when matter is nothing to him, and thus also his neighbour.... since love is inherent in man, all too often in the wrong sense. Anyone who loves himself more also craves all earthly possessions, and no matter how far away the eternal deity is from him.... he must first willingly surrender everything that binds him to matter.... he must seek to become free of it and mould himself into love.... only then will the human being experience an inner transformation; he will feel the spark of divine love within himself and then cannot help but transfer it to other people, and only then will this be true christian neighbourly love, which has a redeeming effect in the true sense of the word....

Le motif de l'amour pour le prochain

L’amour chrétien pour le prochain a été complètement détourné de celui qui avait été voulu par Dieu et cela est à attribuer au fait que l'humanité elle-même ne se rend plus compte que cet amour est nécessaire «en lui-même» pour le retour au Père et comment dans tout le Cosmos tout est étroitement uni par le concept de l'amour. L'amour pour la matière est la mort spirituelle, l'amour pour le prochain et avec cela pour Dieu en tant que Créateur de toutes les choses est la Vie spirituelle. Partout où seulement l'amour vrai est toujours actif, aucun naufrage spirituel ne peut être enregistré, mais là où prédomine l'amour pour la matière, là tout le spirituel va totalement à sa perte. L'amour est la chose la plus sublime sur la Terre et il conduit vers Dieu, mais s'il est tourné vers la possession terrestre, alors il augmente la matière et attire vers le bas. Plus l'homme est rempli du sentiment de l'amour, plus clairement pourra se manifester l'esprit en lui, mais cet amour doit être pour Dieu et le prochain, et non pour la matière. Des pensées outre mesure fausses ont porté l’humanité au point où elle n'est plus en mesure discerner ce qui est juste, c'est-à-dire l’amour divin, si celui-ci provient du cœur ou bien s’il a son origine dans la vie physique de l'homme, avec des avidités purement matérielles. L'homme qui est poussé intérieurement à faire continuellement le bien, ne pense pas à quelque récompense terrestre, mais Mon saint sentiment d'amour est confondu avec le sien, de sorte qu’il ne peut pas faire autrement qu'être actif affectueusement. En lui y a la poussée d'aider, de consoler et de donner partout où son amour ressent un besoin d’aide. Il ne calcule pas craintivement, il est seulement compénétré du profond amour pour le prochain et celui-ci est le vrai amour devant Dieu, et il le mène sur la voie juste vers la Vie éternelle. Mais l'homme qui reste seulement dans la matière, tend seulement à augmenter la matière sur la Terre, c'est-à-dire le bien terrestre et tout tirer à son avantage. Si maintenant il cherche à aider le prochain, alors cela est toujours seulement un certain calcul pour pouvoir tirer quelque bénéfice, et l'amour pur et désintéressé pour le prochain est pour lui un concept incompréhensible. L'amour qui calcule n'agit jamais d’une manière salvatrice, et à nouveau l'amour pour le prochain est le facteur le plus grand avec lequel on doit faire le compte. L'homme doit être sauvé par l'amour, mais l'amour pour la possession prédomine presque toujours et il l'empêche d’exercer l'amour désintéressé. Qui donc veut s'acquitter de ce Commandement divin doit se libérer volontairement de la matière, il doit apprendre à la dédaigner, seulement alors le pur amour peut combler son cœur, il apprendra à aimer Dieu et aussi le prochain lorsque la matière ne signifiera plus rien pour lui, vu que l'amour demeure dans l'homme, mais souvent dans le sens contraire. Celui qui aime d’abord lui-même, désire ardemment la possession terrestre et l'éternelle Divinité Lui est encore très lointaine; auparavant il doit renoncer volontairement à tout ce qui le lie à la matière, il doit chercher à s’en libérer et à se former dans l'amour, seulement alors l'homme expérimente le changement intérieur; il sent en lui l’étincelle de l'amour divin et il ne peut pas faire autrement que de le transférer aux hommes et seulement cela est le vrai amour chrétien pour le prochain et il agit alors d’une manière salvatrice dans le vrai sens du mot.
