"Not as the world gives you...."

He who seeks Me and strives to fulfil My will serves Me. And I want to mould his heart and completely turn his mind towards Me. The burdens of earth should only contribute towards increasing the longing for Me; the human being should recognize in Me the saviour from all adversity and his deepest plea should be for union with Me. The more the earthly child worships, the more it longs for Me, and when it almost despairs, I stand before it most vividly. And his longing is satisfied and My love hands out to him what makes him unspeakably happy. Not as the world gives you do I consider you.... For the world rewards you with earthly treasures, but I have the joys of heaven in store for you, and these joys are by no means fleeting but eternal and inexhaustible heavenly delights. Earthly happiness is conditioned by the joy of possession, so man will always strive to possess what seems desirable to him. Heavenly joys, however, are founded equally in giving and receiving.... For everything is guided by love, and he who loves wants to give in the same measure as he himself receives. Therefore grasp God's goodness, His longsuffering and His mercy that He offers Himself as supreme happiness to all creatures on earth.... that everyone may only desire union with Him in order to be indescribably blissfully blessed by the eternal deity.... that He offers His love time and again to people who remain in constant defence because He does not want them to lose this supreme happiness.... and that His patience with people knows no bounds and that He tries to come closer to them in every way.... He wants all immaturity to recognize its condition and to make every effort to ascend and thus, through God's grace, to shape itself into a giving and receiving being....

“세상이 너희에게 주는 것과는 다르다. "

나를 찾고 나의 뜻을 성취하기 위해 노력하는 사람은 나를 섬긴다. 나는 그의 심장을 형성하고, 그의 생각이 전적으로 나에게 향하기를 원한다. 이 땅의 짐은 단지 나를 향한 갈망을 증가시키는 일에 기여해야 한다. 사람은 모든 환난을 통해 내 안의 구세주를 인정해야 하고, 그의 가장 깊은 간청은 나와의 연합을 위한 것이어야 한다. 이 땅의 자녀가 굶주릴수록 나를 더 갈망한다. 자녀가 거의 죽을 지경이 될 때 나는 가장 생명력이 있게 그 앞에 서있다. 그의 갈망은 성취가 되고, 말할 수 없게 행복하게 해주는 나의 사랑이 그에게 주어진다.

나는 세상이 너희에게 주는 것처럼 너희에게 주지 않는다. 왜냐하면 세상은 이 땅의 보물을 상으로 주지만, 나는 너희를 위해 하늘의 기쁨을 준비하고, 이런 기쁨은 결코 쇠하지 않는 영원히 지속되는 고갈될 수 없는 하늘의 기쁨이다. 이 땅의 행복은 소유하는 기쁨에 의해 결정된다. 다시 말해 사람은 항상 자신이 갈망할만하게 보이는 것을 소유하려고 추구할 것이다. 그러나 하늘의 기쁨은 주는 일과 받는 일이 같은 근거를 가지고 있다. 왜냐하면 모든 것이 사랑에 의해 인도되고, 사랑하는 사람은 그 자신이 받는 것과 같은 양으로 주고 싶어하기 때문이다.

그러므로 최고의 행복으로 이 땅의 모든 피조물에게 자신을 제공하는 하나님의 선하심과 오래 참음과 긍휼을 이해하라. 모든 사람이 영원한 신성으로부터 말할 수 없는 축복을 받기 위해 그와의 연합을 원할 수 있는 하나님의 선하심과 오래 참음과 긍휼을 이해하라. 사람들이 이 최고의 행복을 잃지 않기를 원하기 때문에, 사람들을 향한 그의 인내심이 한계가 없고, 사람들에게 모든 방식으로 가까이 다가가려고 노력하기 때문에, 지속적으로 거부하는 사람들에게 항상 또 다시 자신의 사랑을 계속해서 제공하는 하나님의 선하심과 오래 참음과 긍휼을 이해하라. 그는 모든 미성숙한 사람이 자신의 상태를 깨닫고, 높은 곳에 도달하기 위해 스스로 관심을 가지고 노력하여, 자신을 하나님의 은혜로 베푸는 존재와 받는 존재로 가꾸어 나가기를 원한다.
