"Watch and pray...." temptations....

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.... You should always remember these words because you are in constant danger that your soul will be damaged through spiritual lukewarmness.... Always being alert protects you from sudden attacks by the adversary, he will always find you prepared for battle if you pray, and it will not be easy for him to attack you. For all evil in the world comes from him.... He seeks to sow the evil seeds into the hearts of men, he puts all desire into them, and where man is not careful and forgets to pray, there the adversary will find good ground, i.e. attention will only be paid too readily to what stimulates human senses.... and so such people will always succumb to the temptations because they lack the strength to defend themselves against the attacks of the enemy. And yet such great assistance is available to you, you may only want it and the lord assures you of His help.... Watch and pray.... Recognize with a clear spirit how you can escape all temptations if you turn your heart towards the divine saviour and call upon Him for help. Just don't rely on the earthly help offered to you, don't try to find a substitute for the pure divine teaching there. And pray there again so that the lord will bless you and your work on earth, but also consider how valuable it is to be spiritually awake and how every day should therefore be used to increase spiritual wealth.... consider that precisely people's indifference has brought about such immense misery.... and the adversary has an easy game if he is not seriously resisted. And therefore his greatest endeavour is to put people in a state of fatigue.... if the human being’s will now gives way, then very soon everything divine in the human being will no longer be able to assert himself, and the end will be his complete apostasy from God and a constant decline in spiritual knowledge. And thus always follow our advice not to put yourself in such danger under any circumstances, whereas you have the best means in your hand to come closer to the father in heaven by only ever again commending yourself to the father in heaven in heartfelt prayer and gladly and joyfully submitting to His will. Then you will very soon master the danger that lies in wait for you and through prayer you will also be fully strengthened in the fight against the power that is hostile to God. A person can very well avoid all hostilities if only he recognizes them as such.... The more alert you are to all events around you, the sooner you will be able to avoid them and the temptations will not approach you like this.... Therefore watch and pray.... And the lord will reward your zeal and not let you be harmed in body and soul....

«Veillez et priez....» – Les tentations

Veillez et priez, pour ne pas tomber en tentation. Vous devez toujours vous rappeler de ces Paroles, parce que vous êtes continuellement en danger que soient infligés des dommages à l'âme au moyen de la tiédeur spirituelle. Soyez toujours vigilants pour être protégé des attaques soudaines de l'adversaire, de sorte qu'il vous trouve toujours armé pour lutter, lorsque vous priez, il ne lui sera pas facile de vous attaquer. Parce que tout le mal du monde vient de lui. Il cherche à répandre la mauvaise semence dans le cœur des hommes, il met en eux tous les désirs, et là où l'homme n'est pas vigilant et oublie la prière, là l'adversaire trouve un bon terrain, c'est-à-dire qu’il devient très attentif à ce qui fascine les sens de l'homme, et ainsi des hommes succomberont toujours aux tentations, parce qu'il leur manque la force de se défendre contre les attaques de l'ennemi. Toutefois vous avez un grand Soutien à votre disposition, vous devez seulement vouloir, et le Seigneur vous assure Son Aide. Veillez et priez. Vous reconnaitrez avec un esprit limpide comment vous pouvez éviter toutes les tentations si vous tournez votre cœur vers le divin Sauveur et si vous l’invoquez pour de l'Aide. Ne vous confiez pas à l'aide qui vous est offerte de la part du monde, ne cherchez pas à la substituer à la pure Doctrine divine. Et priez encore pour que le Seigneur vous bénisse ainsi que votre action sur la Terre, mais rappelez-vous combien est précieux le fait d’être éveillé dans le rapport spirituel, et comment pour cela chaque jour doit être utilisé pour l'augmentation de la richesse spirituelle, rappelez-vous que c’est vraiment l'indifférence des hommes qui a provoqué une si grande misère, et l'adversaire a un jeu très facile là où il ne lui est pas opposé une sérieuse résistance. Et donc son plus grand effort est de mettre les hommes dans un état de fatigue, et si maintenant la volonté de l'homme cède, alors très vite tout le divin dans l'homme ne pourra plus s'affirmer, et cela se terminera par sa chute totale de Dieu et une constante rétrogradation dans le savoir spirituel. Et ainsi suis toujours notre Conseil et ne te mets jamais dans un tel danger, alors que tu as en main le meilleur moyen de t’approcher du Père dans le Ciel en te recommandant toujours seulement dans une intime prière au Père dans du Ciel et en te soumettant volontiers et joyeusement à Sa Volonté. Alors tu seras très vite protégée du danger qui tourne autour de toi, et au moyen de la prière tu seras totalement fortifiée dans la lutte contre le pouvoir ennemi de Dieu. L'homme peut certes éviter toutes les attaques si seulement il les reconnaît comme telles. Plus attentivement tu t’occupes des événements autour de toi, plus facilement tu pourras les éviter, et les tentations ne s'approcheront pas de toi. Donc veillez et priez. Et le Seigneur récompensera votre ferveur et il ne vous laissera subir aucun dommage dans le corps et dans l'âme.
