Arrogance.... fall.... spiritual bridge in danger.... deception....

This is told to you, that all pride leads to a fall and that it is much more difficult to reach the height again where a fall has preceded. Behold, My children, I warn you, for I see the inner nature of the hearts and I see with concern how the tempting arms of the world reach out to you.... I see that you are indeed hesitant but nevertheless willing to let yourselves be taken hold of.... I also see unselfishness getting lost, I see how you suddenly want to ascend but in an earthly sense and no longer think of your spiritual task. And this has the consequence that the bridges to the beyond are in danger, that the pillars become shaky and I, as the lord, have to speak a word of power to avert this danger. Behold, when this danger is approaching, a sign shall be given to you so that you will not waver and go astray. For the world offers you nothing I could not replace a thousandfold, no joy of the world will be deep and lasting, and all worldly happiness is only deception and appearance, and whatever you think you can achieve on earth is deception and without any spiritual benefit.... And thus is expected a spiritual weakness for those who want to gain worldly honour and glory. They can by no means expect help because they don't even strive for what the help from above assures them. Their purpose in life is only ever earthly life and its fulfilment, and everything spiritual remains alien to them, all inclination is directed towards earthly possessions, yet they don't think about eternity. How can I intervene with blessing where people turn their backs on Me.... how can I bless those who deny Me? And he denies Me who rejects My word for the sake of earthly ascent. Anyone who wants to climb high and does not seek the spiritual height is about to fall, and his struggle will be considerably more difficult if he ever still seeks the truth on earth. Only heartfelt devotion, humble prayer and eager activity of love will protect the earthly child from the danger of becoming apostate, and where it is in danger of becoming weak it should call to Me for help, and I will assist it in every adversity, for I know My children and therefore I warn them in all love not to give away something precious in order to exchange a worthless treasure for it, which consists of earthly reputation, happiness and wealth and yet leaves the human heart so destitute when the soul falls into darkness as a result. Therefore, shun the world, shun ostentation and remain humble, simple and modest, and leave all externals to those who believe they cannot live without them.... they have their kingdom of heaven on earth and will have none to expect in the hereafter until they willingly give up everything and content themselves with little for the sake of their soul's salvation....

Hochmut.... Absturz.... Geistige Brücke in Gefahr.... Blendwerk....

Dies sei euch gesagt, daß aller Hochmut zum Fall führt und daß es um vieles schwerer ist, die Höhe wieder zu erreichen, wo ein Absturz vorangegangen ist. Sehet, ihr Meine Kinder, Ich warne euch, denn Ich sehe die innere Beschaffenheit der Herzen, und Ich sehe mit Sorge, wie die lockenden Arme der Welt nach euch greifen.... Ich sehe, daß ihr wohl zögert, aber doch gewillt seid, euch fassen zu lassen.... Ich sehe auch die Uneigennützigkeit verlorengehen, sehe, wie ihr plötzlich zur Höhe empor wollt, doch im irdischen Sinn und eurer geistigen Aufgabe nicht mehr gedenket. Und dies hat zur Folge, daß die Brücken zum Jenseits in Gefahr kommen, daß die Pfeiler wankend werden und Ich, als der Herr, ein Machtwort sprechen muß, um diese Gefahr abzuwenden. Sehet, wenn diese Gefahr im Anzuge ist, soll euch ein Zeichen werden, auf daß ihr nicht wankend werdet und euch verirret. Denn nichts bietet euch die Welt, was Ich nicht tausendfach euch ersetzen könnte, keine Freude der Welt wird tief und beständig sein, und alles weltliche Glück ist nur Trug und Schein, und was ihr auch zu erringen wähnet auf Erden, es ist Blendwerk und ohne jeden geistigen Nutzen.... Und so ist zu erwarten eine geistige Schwäche bei allen denen, die in der Welt Ehre und Ruhm zu erlangen trachten. Sie haben keineswegs Hilfe zu erwarten, weil sie gar nicht das anstreben, was ihnen die Hilfe von oben zusichert. Der Lebensinhalt ist ihnen immer nur das Erdenleben mit seiner Erfüllung, und alles Geistige bleibt ihnen fremd, aller Hang gilt irdischem Gut, doch der Ewigkeit gedenken sie nicht. Wie soll Ich dort segnend eingreifen, wo man Mir den Rücken zuwendet.... wie soll Ich segnen, die Mich verleugnen. Und es verleugnet Mich, der Mein Wort zurücksetzet um irdischen Aufstieges willen. Wer hoch empor will und nicht die geistige Höhe sucht, dessen Absturz steht nahe bevor, und sein Ringen wird erheblich schwerer sein, suchet er jemals noch auf Erden die Wahrheit. Nur innige Hingabe, demütiges Gebet und eifrige Tätigkeit in der Liebe schützet das Erdenkind vor der Gefahr des Abtrünnig-Werdens, und wo es schwach zu werden droht, soll es zu Mir rufen um Hilfe, und Ich will ihm beistehen in jeder Not, denn Ich kenne Meine Kinder, und darum warne Ich sie in aller Liebe, daß sie nicht etwas Kostbares dahingeben, um einen wertlosen Schatz dafür einzutauschen, der in irdischem Ansehen, Glück und Reichtum besteht und doch das menschliche Herz so bettelarm werden läßt, wenn die Seele dadurch in Finsternis gerät. Darum meidet die Welt, meidet den Prunk und bleibet demütig, einfach und bescheiden, und überlasset alle Äußerlichkeiten denen, die ohne solche nicht leben zu können glauben.... sie haben ihr Himmelreich auf Erden und werden im Jenseits keines zu erwarten haben, ehe sie nicht willig alles hingeben und sich mit wenigem begnügen um ihres Seelenheiles willen....
