Lack of self-knowledge.... self-love.... stubbornness....

Pay attention to the words that come to you today: The most bitter state of life is prepared by those people themselves who are in perpetual self-destruction and do not implore God's grace to help them, through which they would be freed from the pressure that burdens them. These people always see their own situation as so deplorable and become more and more entangled in gloomy feelings and their whole being is ultimately just one of boundless bitterness, and that without any real cause. Their self-love is too strongly developed to overcome themselves, and they are much more likely to see the fulfilment of life in the fate of other people, and so a just judgement always remains something alien to these people. They reject all rational reasons and thus have a much more difficult life due to their own stubbornness, because good will would allow them to master life much more easily. Life itself is so instructive and provides so much guidance, if only it is utilized in the right way and people take refuge in working in love in all emotional distress. The balance is then created, as it were, and the heart becomes glad.... And when one's own person is put aside, all heaviness falls away from the person of its own accord and he finds the fulfilment of life in working for others. The purpose of life is only ever the maturing of oneself, a renunciation of the fulfilment of one's own desires and a perpetual willingness to serve. The more a person can subordinate himself, the freer his spiritual state will become, and the more often he practices self-conquest, the stronger his will will become, and this work on himself will bring about an ennoblement of the whole being, only the well-being of his fellow human being will then ever be taken into consideration, and the painful state which torments the human being will be remedied.... And this is brought about by the will to act.... it is much easier to defeat the world than oneself.... Man does not want to admit that he is the author of his condition, he always looks for the cause elsewhere than in himself, and that is his fault.... Where self-knowledge is lacking, help is hard to come by.... because then where should the lever be applied.... Those who only want to criticize others, but never themselves, will hardly recognize the basic evil, they will only ever find themselves pitiable and will not muster the will to put an end to their condition, which is nevertheless depressing. And so there is only one thing that has the right effect on such a mind.... to lovingly draw its attention to its wrong attitude towards life, which man should master himself and not allow himself to be mastered by it, which is the case every time he suffers under the pressure of his mood and cannot find a way out. Where there is the will, there is also the deed, and only this frees man from all evil....

Falta de autoconhecimento.... Auto-amor.... teimosia....

Preste atenção às palavras que lhe chegam hoje: A condição mais amarga da vida é causada por pessoas que estão em perpétua autodeterminação e não imploram a graça de Deus por ajuda, através da qual seriam libertadas da pressão que as sobrecarrega. Essas pessoas sempre vêem sua própria situação como tão deplorável e ficam cada vez mais enredadas em sentimentos sombrios e, no final, todo o seu ser é apenas um de amargura sem limites, e isso sem causa justa. O seu amor-próprio está demasiado desenvolvido para se superar a si próprio, e eles vêem a realização da vida no destino de outras pessoas, e assim um julgamento justo permanece sempre algo estranho a estas pessoas. Eles rejeitam todas as razões da razão e assim têm uma vida muito mais difícil devido à sua própria teimosia, pois a boa vontade permitir-lhes-ia dominar a vida muito mais facilmente. A própria vida é tão instrutiva e dá tanta orientação, se apenas for usada corretamente e se recorrer ao trabalho no amor em toda a opressão mental. Então o equilíbrio é criado, por assim dizer, e o coração torna-se alegre.... E quando a própria pessoa é posta de lado, todo o peso cai do ser humano por si mesmo, e ele encontra a realização da vida no trabalho para os outros. A finalidade da vida é sempre apenas a maturação de si mesmo, a renúncia à realização dos próprios desejos e um serviço perpétuo e de boa vontade. Quanto mais o ser humano se puder subordinar, mais livre se tornará o seu estado espiritual, e quanto mais frequentemente praticar a autoconquista, mais forte se tornará a sua vontade, e este trabalho sobre si mesmo resultará num enobrecimento de todo o ser, então apenas o bem-estar do semelhante será levado em conta, e o doloroso estado que atormenta o ser humano será remediado..... E isto é conseguido pela vontade de agir.... É significativamente mais fácil derrotar o mundo do que a si mesmo.... O homem não quer admitir que ele é a causa da sua condição, ele sempre procura a causa em outro lugar que não em si mesmo, e esse é o seu erro.... Onde falta autoconhecimento, a ajuda é difícil de vir por.... porque então onde a alavanca deve ser aplicada.... Aquele que só quer criticar os outros, mas nunca a si mesmo, dificilmente reconhecerá o mal básico, só terá pena de si mesmo e não reunirá a vontade de pôr um fim à sua condição, que no entanto o oprime. E assim só uma coisa pode ter o efeito certo em tal mente.... chamar amorosamente a sua atenção para a sua atitude errada em relação à vida, que o ser humano deveria dominar e não se deixar dominar por ela, que é sempre o caso quando sofre a pressão do seu humor e não consegue encontrar uma saída. Onde existe a vontade, existe também a escritura, e só assim o ser humano fica livre de todo o mal....
