Earth’s state of peace depends on spiritual attitude ....

The peace which one day shall make the people on earth very happy is still far out of sight. Too many demons are still interfering in world events and find too much cover behind people’s spiritual attitude; consequently, a turning point in earthly life will only become apparent when humanity’s mentality turns more towards spiritual experience .... The promises of the Lord will therefore only apply on earth when the earthly children’s faith in Him comes alive in their hearts. Everything of a spiritual nature does not, in a manner of speaking, walk with the world but next to the world .... Only one or the other can dominate a person entirely, and the world will lose to the same extent as faith wins. When the spirit tilts the balance in its favour then peace will bring joy to the world and all earthly hardship will come to an end. Yet humanity’s yearning is still far removed from this. Worldly desire keeps a firm hold on them, sacrifices will always only be made for this, and almost all interests merely apply to temporal joys. The broad, passable path, which leads to the soul’s downfall and into disaster, is preferred to the narrow path, which is indeed full of thorns but it will lead to the goal with certainty .... to eternal life in all splendour and glory. And as long as people’s intentions and thoughts don’t change, as long as their thinking does not become deeper and more internalised, world events cannot change either, because they shape them themselves through their will. For as long as their love purely concerns their bodily satisfaction, they will draw their strength for their endeavour from the materialistic spirit world, and this can only result in an increase of all secular cravings and never a decrease of the same. On the other hand, the strength for good will grow tremendously if people do not apply their love to themselves but to their fellow human beings and therefore to the all-retaining Creator again .... Any support which now flows to people is beneficial spiritual strength, which will always result in the desire for the spirit and an assured spiritualisation of human thinking. Hence people themselves will reshape world events and are therefore the bearers of the spirit of peace if they undermine their inclination towards the world and seek fulfilment in spiritual experience and perfection. Then a peaceful state will bring joy to the world .... there will neither be discord nor envy among the nations .... No-one will try to curtail the other’s wealth but always share with him, and a life of love among each other will help people to attain highest spiritual maturity. For the world is part of the dark power .... Anyone who desires it also hands himself over to this power, yet he who detests it will be seized by the blessed spiritual world and, continually receiving strength, can entrust himself to it. And so a state of peace will make those earthly children exceedingly happy who have utterly discarded their longing for the world and completely turned towards the spirit. Yet only the one who has recognised this can participate in the co-operation of bringing eternal peace to earth.

La condizione di pace sulla Terra dipende dalla condizione spirituale

In ampia vista c’è ancora pace per gli uomini che deve una volta rendere felice. Nell’avvenimento del mondo intervengono ancora molti demoni, che nella predisposizione spirituale degli uomini trovano ancora un grande tranello, e così uno sconvolgimento nella vita terrena si farà notare solamente, quando il senso dell’umanità si rivolgerà di più all’esperienza spirituale. E di conseguenza le promesse del Signore per il tempo terreno troveranno l’impiego solamente, quando la fede dei figli terreni in Lui diventa viva nel cuore. Tutto lo spirituale non cammina per così dire con il mondo, ma accanto al mondo. Solo una o l’altra cosa può dominare gli uomini, ed il mondo perderà nella stessa misura, come aquista la fede. Quando la bilancia dello spirituale avrà il soprappeso, anche la pace rallegrerà la Terra, ed ogni miseria terrena avrà una fine. Ma la nostalgia dell’umanità è ancora molto lontana da questa. Il desiderio mondano la tiene in saldi legami, solo a questo viene sacrificato, e quasi tutti gli interessi sono rivolti alle gioie terrene. La via larga, percorribile, che conduce al naufragio dell’anima e nella rovina, viene preferita alla via stretta, che è bensì colma di spine, ma conduce con sicurezza alla meta, all’eterna Vita in tutto lo Sfarzo e Magnificenza. E se prima non cambia il tendere ed il pensare degli uomini, che non diventi più profondo e più interiore il loro pensare, nemmeno l’avvenimento del mondo può cambiare, perché gli uomini stessi lo formano attraverso la loro volontà. Finché il loro amore è rivolto solo al soddisfacimento del corpo, fino ad allora prendono anche l’apporto di forza per il loro tendere dal mondo spirituale materialistico, e questo può aver per conseguenza solamente un aumento di tutte le bramosie mondane, ma mai una diminuzione delle stesse. Invece la Forza per il Bene aumenterà immensamente, quando l’amore dell’uomo non è rivolto a sé stesso, ma al prossimo. Ogni sostegno che ora giunge agli uomini, è dalla Forza spirituale buona, che ha sempre per conseguenza l’aumento del desiderio per lo spirituale ed una sicura spiritualizzazione del pensare umano. Così gli uomini stessi sono i trasformatori dell’avvenimento mondano e con ciò portatori dello spirito di pace, se minano la loro tendenza al mondo e cercano il loro esaudimento nell’esperienza spirituale e nella perfezione. Allora una condizione pacifica renderà felice la Terra, non vi sarà né contesa né invidia fra i popoli. Nessuno cerca di sminuire il bene dell’altro, ma condivideranno sempre con l’altro, ed un agire d’amore reciproco aiuterà gli uomini al massimo sviluppo dello spirito. Perché il mondo è parte del potere oscuro. Chi lo desidera, si dà anche a questo potere, ma chi lo aborrisce, viene afferrato dal beato mondo spirituale e si può dare a questo ricevendo del continuo la Forza. E così la condizione di pace renderà immensamente felici i figli terreni, che hanno deposto totalmente il desiderio per il mondo e si sono rivolti pienamente allo spirituale. Ma solo chi ha riconosciuto questo, può partecipare alla collaborazione di portare al mondo l’eterna pace.
