Incarnation.... bridge....

He Who wore the crown of thorns carried the sins of men on His shoulders and yet remained the purest, most innocent lamb of God. Night was the portion of all souls at that time, but with the saviour the light came to earth, and the darkness was overcome through Jesus' death on the cross. And those who opened their hearts to receive the light had their sins blotted out by the saviour's love. The power of evil was broken, the saviour earned people the right to enter the eternal home if they accepted faith in Jesus Christ as the son of God. For an immeasurably long time the gates to the father's house were closed because sin separated the soul from the eternal deity.... Then the lord built a bridge from the earth to the spiritual world. Faith was able to overcome the unbridgeable gulf.... the eternal deity bent fatherly towards His creatures and they found the way to the father, who only has the will, for the divine saviour paved the way through His incarnation....

Menswording – Brug

Die de doornenkroon gedragen heeft, heeft de zonden van de mensen op Zijn schouders geladen en bleef toch het reinste, onschuldigste lam van God. In die tijd was het voor alle zielen nacht. Maar met de Heiland kwam het licht naar de aarde, en de duisternis werd overwonnen door de dood van Jezus aan het kruis. En wie zijn hart opende om het licht op te nemen, diens zondenschuld werd gedelgd door de liefde van de Heiland. De macht van het kwaad was gebroken. Hiermee verwierf de Heiland het recht voor de mensen om binnen te gaan in het eeuwige vaderland als ze het geloof in Jezus Christus als Zoon van God aannamen.

Onmetelijk lange tijden waren de poorten naar het vaderhuis gesloten, omdat de zonde de ziel van de eeuwige Godheid scheidde. Toen sloeg de Heer een brug van de aarde naar de geestelijke wereld. Het geloof kon de tot nu toe onoverbrugbare kloof overwinnen. De eeuwige Godheid neigde Zich vaderlijk naar Zijn schepselen. En wie maar de wil heeft, vindt de weg naar de Vader. Want de goddelijke Heiland heeft door Zijn menswording de weg geëffend._>Amen
