Patiently bearing the cross.... 'Lord, Your will be done...'

Look within yourself and recognise your failings and appeal to the Lord for His help, then you will grow in strength and succeed in enduring all tests of life gently and with patience. After all, the Lord's will only sends these to you for your own advancement.... A person will rarely submit to the suffering imposed on him without grumbling, and yet precisely this is a willing submission to God's will, when the human being gladly and gratefully accepts all suffering from the Father's hand and so only ever acknowledges that whatever happens will be right for his soul's salvation. When the pain increases, the Saviour is placing a small cross upon you which, for His sake, you should carry patiently. Such days will make the soul infinitely happy, for whatever is tolerantly carried by the body is removed from the soul and it will enter an increasingly more liberated state. The body's suffering is the soul's greatest help, and if the human being bears it gladly, the soul will be grateful for it and, in turn, will use every opportunity to help the body through inner suggestions which benefit the human being's earthly work. All suffering will only have an ennobling effect if it does not cause bitterness in the person against the One Who inflicts this suffering upon him, and thus it will only ever benefit the person's soul. And if the temptation is great to revolt against God's will, then remember the Lord's suffering on the cross.... How unspeakably painful was His death, and how humbly did the Saviour accept all suffering upon His shoulders out of love for the sinful human race. If you bear this in mind, then you will also gladly carry you small cross, for the Lord will not impose anything upon you that you are incapable of carrying. And the right love for the Saviour will sweeten your every suffering.... One day the significance of suffering will dawn on you and your soul will rejoice, if you were willing on earth and gained many merits through the bearing of suffering, which has an extraordinary effect in the spiritual world. Your lifetime on earth certainly burdens you with much which seems insurmountable to you at first, and thus you quarrel with God and want to object to His most sacred will; nevertheless, God's love will soon teach you otherwise.... it will let you realise that it is only in your best interest when He allows you to suffer, and your earthly existence will be richly rewarded if you have realised it. Therefore, always pray from the bottom of your heart 'Lord, Your will be done....' and your suffering will turn into joy.... and you will gratefully accept the reward which, one day in eternity, will compensate you for all the suffering on earth....

Carregando a cruz em paciência.... "Senhor, Seja feita a Vossa Vontade...."

Vai dentro de ti e reconhece as tuas fraquezas e pede ao Senhor a Sua ajuda, então a tua força também se tornará mais forte e serás bem sucedido nas provações da vida com mansidão e paciência. A vontade do Senhor só te envia estes para a tua própria promoção.... Raramente uma pessoa se submeterá ao sofrimento que lhe é imposto sem resmungar e, no entanto, isto é precisamente uma submissão voluntária à vontade de Deus, quando a pessoa aceita com alegria e gratidão todo o sofrimento da mão do Pai e, portanto, só reconhece sempre tudo como direito para a salvação da sua alma. Quando a dor aumenta, o Salvador coloca uma pequena cruz sobre ti, que deves carregar pacientemente por Sua causa. Tais dias farão a alma infinitamente feliz, pois o que o corpo carrega pacientemente é retirado da alma, e a sua condição torna-se cada vez mais livre. O sofrimento físico é a maior ajuda da alma e, se o ser humano o suportar com alegria, a alma ficará agradecida a ele e, por sua vez, aproveitará todas as oportunidades onde possa ajudar o corpo através de conselhos interiores para o benefício do ser humano na atividade terrena. Todo sofrimento só terá um efeito enobrecedor se não amargar o ser humano contra Aquele que lhe envia esse sofrimento, e por isso só é sempre benéfico para a alma do ser humano. E se a tentação é grande de se rebelar contra a vontade de Deus, então lembre-se apenas do sofrimento do Senhor na cruz.... Quão indizível foi a Sua morte, e quão devotamente o Salvador levou todo o sofrimento sobre os Seus ombros por amor à humanidade pecadora. E se você tiver isso em mente, então você também carregará voluntariamente a sua pequena cruz, pois o Senhor não a colocará sobre você mais pesada do que você é capaz de carregá-la. E o amor certo pelo Salvador adoça todo o sofrimento por ti.... Um dia, um dia, um pouco de luz irá despertar em ti o que é o sofrimento, e a tua alma irá alegrar-se quando tiveres estado disposto na Terra e tiveres ganho grandes méritos carregando sofrimento, o que tem um efeito extremamente benéfico no mundo espiritual. A vida certamente te carrega de muitas coisas que a princípio te parecem intransponíveis, e por isso discute com Deus e quer se rebelar contra Sua santíssima vontade, mas o amor de Deus logo te ensinará de maneira diferente.... Ele vos fará compreender que só é para o vosso próprio bem se Ele vos der tristeza, e a vossa existência terrena vos trará rica recompensa se a reconhecerdes. Portanto, ore sempre do fundo do seu coração: 'Senhor, seja feita a Tua vontade....'. E o teu sofrimento vai transformar-se em alegria.... e com gratidão você receberá a recompensa que o compensará por todo sofrimento na Terra um dia na eternidade....
