Patiently bearing the cross.... 'Lord, Your will be done...'

Look within yourself and recognise your failings and appeal to the Lord for His help, then you will grow in strength and succeed in enduring all tests of life gently and with patience. After all, the Lord's will only sends these to you for your own advancement.... A person will rarely submit to the suffering imposed on him without grumbling, and yet precisely this is a willing submission to God's will, when the human being gladly and gratefully accepts all suffering from the Father's hand and so only ever acknowledges that whatever happens will be right for his soul's salvation. When the pain increases, the Saviour is placing a small cross upon you which, for His sake, you should carry patiently. Such days will make the soul infinitely happy, for whatever is tolerantly carried by the body is removed from the soul and it will enter an increasingly more liberated state. The body's suffering is the soul's greatest help, and if the human being bears it gladly, the soul will be grateful for it and, in turn, will use every opportunity to help the body through inner suggestions which benefit the human being's earthly work. All suffering will only have an ennobling effect if it does not cause bitterness in the person against the One Who inflicts this suffering upon him, and thus it will only ever benefit the person's soul. And if the temptation is great to revolt against God's will, then remember the Lord's suffering on the cross.... How unspeakably painful was His death, and how humbly did the Saviour accept all suffering upon His shoulders out of love for the sinful human race. If you bear this in mind, then you will also gladly carry you small cross, for the Lord will not impose anything upon you that you are incapable of carrying. And the right love for the Saviour will sweeten your every suffering.... One day the significance of suffering will dawn on you and your soul will rejoice, if you were willing on earth and gained many merits through the bearing of suffering, which has an extraordinary effect in the spiritual world. Your lifetime on earth certainly burdens you with much which seems insurmountable to you at first, and thus you quarrel with God and want to object to His most sacred will; nevertheless, God's love will soon teach you otherwise.... it will let you realise that it is only in your best interest when He allows you to suffer, and your earthly existence will be richly rewarded if you have realised it. Therefore, always pray from the bottom of your heart 'Lord, Your will be done....' and your suffering will turn into joy.... and you will gratefully accept the reward which, one day in eternity, will compensate you for all the suffering on earth....

Porter la croix avec patience - «Seigneur, que Ta Volonté soit faite....»

Entre en toi-même, reconnais tes faiblesses et demande au Seigneur Son Assistance, alors ta force deviendra plus vigoureuse, et tu réussiras à supporter les épreuves de la vie avec douceur et patience. La Volonté du Seigneur te les envoie seulement pour ton propre avancement. Mais un homme se soumet rarement aux souffrances émises sur lui sans murmurer, et pourtant vraiment il s’opère une soumission volontaire à la Volonté de Dieu lorsque l'homme accepte heureux et reconnaissant toute la souffrance de la Main du Père et reconnaît ainsi toujours seulement tout comme juste pour le salut de son âme. Si la douleur augmente, le Sauveur te charge d’une petite croix que tu dois tolérer par amour pour Lui. De tels jours rendront l'âme infiniment heureuse, parce que ce que le corps supporte patiemment, est enlevé à l'âme, et son état devient toujours plus libre. La souffrance corporelle est la plus grand aide pour l'âme, et l'homme doit la porter avec joie, ainsi l'âme lui est reconnaissante et à son tour profite de chaque occasion pour aider le corps par des suggestions intérieures pour le bien de l'homme dans son activité terrestre. Toute souffrance a seulement un effet anoblissant, si l'homme ne s'attriste pas contre Celui qui a envoyé sur lui cette souffrance, et donc elle est toujours seulement salvatrice pour l'âme de l'homme. Et si la tentation est grande de se rebeller contre la Volonté de Dieu, alors pensez seulement à la souffrance du Seigneur sur la Croix. Combien indiciblement douloureuse a été Sa mort, et comment le Seigneur a pris humblement sur Ses Épaules toute la souffrance par Amour pour l'humanité coupable. Et si vous gardez cela à l’esprit, alors vous porterez aussi volontairement votre petite croix, parce que le Seigneur ne vous charge pas plus lourdement que ce que vous êtes en mesure de porter. Le juste amour pour le Sauveur vous adoucit toute la souffrance. Un jour s’élèvera en vous une petite Lumière sur la signification de la souffrance, et votre âme se réjouira, et si vous avez été de bonne volonté sur la Terre vous y aurez conquis de grands mérites grâce à votre acceptation de la souffrance qui a un effet extrêmement bénéfique dans le monde spirituel. Votre vie sur la Terre vous pèse certainement du fait qu’elle vous apparait comme quelque chose d’infranchissable, et donc vous vous disputez avec Dieu et vous voulez vous rebeller contre Sa très sainte Volonté, mais l'Amour de Dieu vous enseignera vite quelque chose d'autre, Il vous fera reconnaître que c’est seulement pour votre bien lorsqu’Il vous envoie des souffrances, et l'existence terrestre vous procurera une riche récompense lorsque vous l'aurez reconnue. Donc priez du plus profond du cœur: «Seigneur que Ta Volonté soit faite....». Et votre souffrance se transmutera en joie, et vous accueillerez reconnaissants la récompense, et une fois dans l'Éternité vous serez dédommagé pour toute la souffrance sur la Terre.
