State of mind.... thoughts of God help for self-refinement....

People do not pay attention to their spiritual state when they are in the midst of their daily worries. They go about their earthly work and are not in the least concerned about connecting with the eternal deity. They are therefore unable to establish the child's relationship with the father, and so they remain separated from the father in heaven as long as they are too busy with earthly activities. The simplest solution at all times would be to commend themselves to divine grace.... They would then draw in such great measure, and their earthly activity would also be blessed by the lord. Insofar as the thought of God accompanies the path of life, the earthly child is in an unutterably happy situation, for with this thought he also receives the spiritual powers which stimulate the earthly child to spiritual work and protect it from relapsing into completely earthly interests. The actual work on the soul begins when the human being only deals with the divine being in thought.... when he asks the question within himself what the purpose of life on earth is and what his own relationship to the divine creator is. Then he has willingly given himself into the power of good spiritual forces, which now utilize this power and in turn use everything to keep the thoughts in the same direction.... that they are constantly concerned with infinity and their creator. Anyone who once directs his spirit in such directions will also change his own nature at the same time, for the thought of God.... which is always preceded by a turning away from the earthly, will understandably result in self-refinement, which is again an influence of higher spiritual beings on the human being's mind.... But the strength will only be given to the human being in all fullness when his heart has become love.... when it cannot help but give love out of God-consciousness.... then the human being will increasingly shed his bad habits, he will spiritualize himself more and more and the greater will be the influence of his spiritual friends on his soul. Man's endeavour is then an easy one if he willingly surrenders to this spiritual power that is well-disposed towards him.... What at first caused him unspeakable trouble has now become easy work for him, which he joyfully fulfils. To know what task God has assigned to man and to be able to fulfil this task wholeheartedly is in itself such proof of divine grace that gratitude for it will drive man to strive most eagerly. For to go through earthly life without knowledge moulds this earthly life into difficult activity that does not satisfy the soul. As long as the connection with the father is not found, the days lived on earth are useless for eternity. Only when love is active in man, consciously or unconsciously, does man truly begin to live on earth. The state of mind will then be a bright one, he will look at everything around him with recognition, he will give in to the subtle stirrings of the heart and seek and find inner peace in the thought of his creator.... He has recognized the sole purpose of life and now seeks to fulfil it with zeal.... He only looks at everything from the point of view of this realization and willingly allows himself to be guided from above.... the help sent to man by God.... and his path must now lead him safely towards his eternal home and his divine father....

Estado de espírito.... Pensamentos sobre a Ajuda de Deus para o Auto-Refinimento....

As pessoas não prestam atenção ao seu estado espiritual quando estão no meio das preocupações diárias. Eles fazem o seu trabalho terreno e não estão minimamente preocupados em conectar-se com a Divindade eterna. Eles são, portanto, incapazes de estabelecer a relação do filho com o Pai, e assim eles permanecem separados do Pai no céu enquanto estiverem muito ocupados em atividades terrenas. A solução mais simples seria sempre a auto-recomendação da graça divina..... Eles então criariam em tão grande medida, e sua atividade terrena também seria abençoada pelo Senhor. Na medida em que o pensamento de Deus acompanha o caminho da vida, a criança terrena está numa situação indescritivelmente feliz, pois com este pensamento recebe também as forças espirituais que estimulam a criança terrena ao trabalho espiritual e a protegem de recair em interesses completamente terrenos. O ser humano começa o trabalho real sobre a alma se ele só se preocupa com o ser divino em pensamento.... se ele se pergunta dentro de si mesmo qual é o propósito da vida terrena e em que relação ele próprio se relaciona com o Criador divino. Então ele se entregou voluntariamente ao poder das boas forças espirituais, que agora fazem uso desse poder e por sua vez usam tudo para manter os pensamentos sempre na mesma direção.... que eles incessantemente se preocupam com o infinito e seu Criador. Qualquer pessoa que uma vez direcione seu espírito para tais caminhos também mudará sua própria natureza ao mesmo tempo, pois o pensamento de Deus.... que é sempre precedido por um afastamento das coisas terrenas, resultará em um auto-aperfeiçoamento, que é novamente uma influência de seres espirituais superiores na mente do ser humano.... Mas a força só fluirá para o ser humano em abundância quando o seu coração se tiver tornado amor.... quando não puder evitar dar amor a partir da consciência de Deus...., então o ser humano descartará cada vez mais os seus maus hábitos, espiritualizar-se-á cada vez mais, e quanto maior for a influência dos seus amigos espirituais na sua alma. O esforço do ser humano será então fácil se ele se entregar voluntariamente a este poder espiritual que está bem disposto a ele..... O que no início lhe causou problemas indescritíveis tornou-se agora um trabalho fácil para ele, que ele alegremente persegue. Saber que tarefa Deus atribuiu ao ser humano e poder cumpri-la de todo o coração é, em si mesmo, uma prova da graça divina, a tal ponto que a gratidão por ela impulsionará o ser humano para o esforço mais ávido. Pois passar pela vida terrena sem conhecimento molda esta vida terrena em atividade pesada que não satisfaz a alma. Enquanto a ligação com o Pai não for encontrada, os dias terrenos são vividos inutilmente por toda a eternidade. Só quando o amor é ativo no ser humano, consciente ou inconscientemente, o ser humano começa a viver verdadeiramente na Terra. O seu estado espiritual será então brilhante, ele olhará com discernimento para tudo à sua volta, cederá aos impulsos subtis do seu coração e procurará e encontrará paz interior no pensamento do seu Criador.... Ele reconheceu o único propósito da vida e agora procura avidamente cumpri-lo.... Ele só olha para tudo do ponto de vista desta realização e deixa-se guiar de bom grado, de cima...., pelo poder auxiliar enviado por Deus em direcção ao homem.... e o seu caminho deve agora conduzi-lo em segurança em direcção ao lar eterno e ao seu Pai divino....
