State of mind.... thoughts of God help for self-refinement....

People do not pay attention to their spiritual state when they are in the midst of their daily worries. They go about their earthly work and are not in the least concerned about connecting with the eternal deity. They are therefore unable to establish the child's relationship with the father, and so they remain separated from the father in heaven as long as they are too busy with earthly activities. The simplest solution at all times would be to commend themselves to divine grace.... They would then draw in such great measure, and their earthly activity would also be blessed by the lord. Insofar as the thought of God accompanies the path of life, the earthly child is in an unutterably happy situation, for with this thought he also receives the spiritual powers which stimulate the earthly child to spiritual work and protect it from relapsing into completely earthly interests. The actual work on the soul begins when the human being only deals with the divine being in thought.... when he asks the question within himself what the purpose of life on earth is and what his own relationship to the divine creator is. Then he has willingly given himself into the power of good spiritual forces, which now utilize this power and in turn use everything to keep the thoughts in the same direction.... that they are constantly concerned with infinity and their creator. Anyone who once directs his spirit in such directions will also change his own nature at the same time, for the thought of God.... which is always preceded by a turning away from the earthly, will understandably result in self-refinement, which is again an influence of higher spiritual beings on the human being's mind.... But the strength will only be given to the human being in all fullness when his heart has become love.... when it cannot help but give love out of God-consciousness.... then the human being will increasingly shed his bad habits, he will spiritualize himself more and more and the greater will be the influence of his spiritual friends on his soul. Man's endeavour is then an easy one if he willingly surrenders to this spiritual power that is well-disposed towards him.... What at first caused him unspeakable trouble has now become easy work for him, which he joyfully fulfils. To know what task God has assigned to man and to be able to fulfil this task wholeheartedly is in itself such proof of divine grace that gratitude for it will drive man to strive most eagerly. For to go through earthly life without knowledge moulds this earthly life into difficult activity that does not satisfy the soul. As long as the connection with the father is not found, the days lived on earth are useless for eternity. Only when love is active in man, consciously or unconsciously, does man truly begin to live on earth. The state of mind will then be a bright one, he will look at everything around him with recognition, he will give in to the subtle stirrings of the heart and seek and find inner peace in the thought of his creator.... He has recognized the sole purpose of life and now seeks to fulfil it with zeal.... He only looks at everything from the point of view of this realization and willingly allows himself to be guided from above.... the help sent to man by God.... and his path must now lead him safely towards his eternal home and his divine father....

La condizione spirituale - Pensieri all’Aiuto di Dio per l’auto nobilitazione

Gli uomini non badano alla loro condizione spirituale, quando si trovano in mezzo alle preoccupazioni giornaliere. Eseguono il loro lavoro terreno e non intendono minimamente collegarsi con l’eterna Divinità. Perciò non possono stabilire il rapporto del figlio con il Padre e rimangono separati dal Padre nel Cielo, finché si muovono troppo nell’attività terrena. La soluzione più semplice sarebbe in tutti i tempi di raccomandare sé stesso alla divina Grazia. Allora attingerebbe in grande misura, ed anche la sua attività terrena sarebbe benedetta dal Signore. Finché il pensiero è rivolto a Dio, accompagna la via terrena, il figlio terreno è sempre in una situazione molto felice, perché con questo pensiero gli giungono anche le Forze spirituali che stimolano il figlio terreno a creare spiritualmente e lo proteggono totalmente dalla ricaduta in interessi terreni. L’uomo comincia il vero lavoro sull’anima, quando si occupa soltanto mentalmente con l’Essere divino, quando si pone nell’interiore la domanda, quale sia lo scopo della vita terrena ed in quale rapporto sta lui stesso verso il Creatore divino. Allora si è dato volenteroso nel potere delle Forze spirituali buone, che ora utilizzano questo loro potere e da parte loro impiegano tutto per mantenere il pensiero sempre nella stessa direzione, che si occupi continuamente con l’Infinito ed il suo Creatore. Chi conduce una volta il suo spirito su una tale via, cambierà anche contemporaneamente il suo proprio essere, perché il pensiero rivolto a Dio, al quale precede sempre un allontanarsi dal terreno, avrà comprensibilmente per conseguenza una auto nobilitazione, che è nuovamente una influenza di esseri spirituali superiore sui sensi dell’uomo. Ma allora all’uomo giungerà anche la Forza in tutta la pienezza, quando il suo cuore è diventato amore, quando nella consapevolezza di Dio non può fare altro che dare amore, allora l’uomo si libera sempre di più dalle sue cattive abitudini, si spiritualizza sempre di più, e maggiore diventa l’influenza dei suoi amici spirituali sulla sua anima. Allora l’uomo tende facilmente, se si affida volenteroso a questa Forza spirituale che gli si è affezionata. Quello che dapprima gli preparava una indicibile fatica, gli è ora diventato un lavoro facile, che esegue gioiosamente. Sapere quale compito Dio ha assegnato all’uomo, e poter eseguire questo con tutto il cuore, da solo è già una tale dimostrazione della Grazia divina, che la gratitudine spingerà questi uomini al fervente tendere, perché passare attraverso la vita senza conoscenza forma questa in un’attività difficile, che non soddisfa l’anima. Finché non ha avuto il collegamento con il Padre, i giorni terreni sono vissuti invano per l’Eternità. Solo quando l’amore è attivo nell’uomo, consciamente o inconsciamente, l’uomo comincia a vivere realmente sulla Terra. La condizione spirituale sarà poi chiara, riconoscendo osserverà tutto intorno a sé, cederà ai sottili moti del cuore e cercherà la pace interiore pensando al suo Creatore. Ha riconosciuto l’unico scopo della vita ed ora cerca con fervore di adempierlo. Ora considera tutto solo ancora dal punto di di questa conoscenza e si lascia guidare volenteroso verso l’Alto, dalla Forza d’aiuto inviata all’uomo da Dio, ed ora la sua via lo deve guidare sicuro incontro all’eterna Patria ed al suo Padre divino.
