Inner voice.... but never compulsion.... child learns to use will first....

Everything done on earth will be judged according to the degree of love that dominates the person at the time it is carried out. And the reward will also be measured according to this. If you now have the desire in you to be helpful to a person and you carry out a good deed in this desire, only ever out of love for your neighbour, then such a deed will have an effect for eternity as it were, because a divine power is inherent in it, by virtue of which the soul spiritualizes itself and separates itself from the desire of the body. Although it still dwells in its shell, it has nevertheless moved considerably closer to the divine spirit and can now be strengthened by the divine grace which overflows into the heart capable of love.

Every activity of love is preceded by the quiet voice of God.... it will always admonish the human child to do what is beneficial to his soul. However, as soon as opposing forces take effect which want to determine the heart to only do that which could bring the person earthly benefit, then he now has to endure an inner battle and free will is compelled to express itself.... And thus every action will be preceded by a directive from God to do what is right, yet the person's own will will be decisive and therefore he can never be forced into doing what his will does not approve of. He therefore learns to use his will far sooner than he hears the divine voice within himself and will therefore also be responsible for his actions. The very first decision is often decisive for the later development of the soul.

A child which turns to love of its own accord will not run the risk of ever going astray, for the soul turned to the good of its own accord, was supported by grace and therefore did not easily lose its connection with the good spirit world, the strength is granted to it time and again and it produces new works of love again. Whereas a being which only nourishes self-love within itself will seek every advantage for its body but creates a bad state for the soul because it lets it starve and without divine grace it hardly becomes aware of its actual purpose and therefore its activity of love is truly very small.... whereas a loving soul cannot do enough for itself, for the spirit of love is constantly at work in it. Every good deed is an inexhaustible source of grace.... it provides the human being with the strength to work in love, and therefore every good deed also has the blessing in itself that it awakens love where such is still dormant and thus a single deed of love can have an infinitely happy and beneficial effect on the soul....

내면의 음성.... 하지만 절대 강요하지 않는.... 자녀는 먼저 의지를 사용하는 법을 배워야 한다....

이 땅에서 행해지는 모든 일은 행할 당시 사람을 지배하는 사랑의 정도에 따라 가치가 있다. 그리고 사랑의 정도에 따라 상급도 결정된다. 네가 지금 한 사람에게 도움이 되고자 하는 소원을 가지고 있고, 이 소원을 가지고 항상 단지 이웃을 향한 사랑으로 선을 행하면, 그러한 행동은 즉시 영원에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 왜냐하면 이 행동 안에 하나님의 능력이 함께 하고, 이 능력으로 혼이 영화 되고 육체의 욕망으로부터 벗어나기 때문이다.

비록 혼이 자신의 겉 형체 안에 거하지만 혼은 하나님의 영에 훨씬 더 가까워진다. 사랑할 능력이 있는 심장으로 흐르는 하나님의 은혜로 혼이 이제 강하게 될 수 있다. 모든 사랑이 행동으로 나타나기 전에 하나님의 조용한 음성이 선행된다. 이 음성은 항상 인간의 자녀에게 그의 혼에 유익한 일을 하도록 권고한다. 그러나 이 땅의 유익을 얻을 수 있는 일 만을 하도록 심장을 정하려는 대적자의 세력이 그에게 역사하자 마자 그는 내면의 싸움을 이겨야 하고 자유의지가 자신을 나타내도록 강요를 받는다.

모든 행동 전에 하나님으로부터 올바른 지시가 선행이 될 것이다. 그러나 자신의 의지가 결정적이게 될 것이다. 그러므로 인간은 결코 그의 의지가 승인하지 않는 일을 하도록 강요받는 상태에 처할 수 없다. 때문에 사람은 자신의 내면에서 하나님의 음성을 듣기 훨씬 전에 자신의 의지를 사용하는 법을 배우고, 자신의 행동에 대해서도 책임을 진다. 가장 첫 번째 결정이 종종 나중에 혼의 발전을 위해 결정적이다. 스스로 사랑을 행한 자녀는 길을 잃는 위험에 빠지지 않을 것이다. 왜냐하면 혼이 스스로 선으로 향하고 은혜에 의해 뒷받침을 받고 계속해서 힘을 주는 선한 영계와의 연결을 쉽게 잃지 않기 때문이다.

혼은 새로운 사랑의 역사를 만들어낸다. 반면에 자신 안에 단지 자기 사랑 만을 키우는 존재는 자신의 육체를 위해 모든 유익한 것을 추구하지만 그러나 혼에게 나쁜 상태를 만들어 낸다. 왜냐하면 그가 혼을 굶주리게 하고, 하나님의 은혜가 없이는 혼이 자신의 실제 존재 목적을 거의 깨닫지 못하고, 이로써 혼이 사랑을 행하는 일이 진실로 아주 적기 때문이다. 반면에 사랑을 행하는 혼은 그 안에 사랑의 영이 계속 역사하기 때문에 아무리 사랑을 행해도 충분히 할 수 없다. 모든 선행은 은혜의 무한한 원천이다. 모든 선행은 사람들에게 다시 사랑으로 일할 힘을 준다. 그러므로 모든 선행 자체 안에 축복이 있다. 선행이 여전히 졸고 있는 사랑을 깨운다. 단 하나의 사랑의 행동이 혼을 무한히 행복하게 하고 혼에게 유익한 효과를 줄 수 있다.
