Purpose of suffering - Trials.... Lethargy of the spirit....

Many things in life discourage the human being.... it is like a bond which binds the heart of such a person. Time and again doubts in the goodness and mercy of God arise when grief and suffering occur too often.... and yet they only give you an inner maturity which otherwise would take much longer to achieve. And since your earthly life only lasts a short time it is necessary that such depressing or painful occurrences must take place frequently and sometimes one after another so that you may derive blessings from them, that you look upon your life earnestly and carefully and that your desire turns more and more away from the world and its attractions, which are a serious danger to you. Life often seems unbearable for the individual, sometimes such an earthly child tires and loses heart.... it drifts without making any effort to change this discouraged existence. And yet it would be so easy for you as soon as the right attitude towards God shows you the way you have to go. But consider the many seemingly insurmountable obstacles in your life.... would you have escaped from them if you had not been given help from above every time....

But you do not always recognise this help as sent from above, yet every occurrence is a flow of God’s grace.... whether good or bad.... it always has the same purpose: to have a refining effect on you, My earthly children. If you can see in every test a means of improvement then you will also recognise your own shortcomings and failures, and with this recognition comes the quiet will to overcome them.... Then every trial has already served its purpose.... and therefore you must realise in every difficult situation that they are necessary to achieve a higher degree of maturity.... that they are steps on the ladder which leads the soul to perfection, so to speak. A life without struggle would only mean to stay on the same level, however, the battle against oneself is far more difficult to carry out than the battle against enemies who approach the human being from outside.

Every awakening from the lethargy of the spirit is a step forward.... the alert human being will remember his spirit and not let it starve, for lethargy is a relapse and cannot be called ‘enlivening’ in any way, it will defeat every urge to be active and can never have a beneficial influence on the soul. Therefore do not be alarmed when life’s difficulties seem hard to bear.... if they make you aware of your shortcomings and you fight them then they will disappear again in not too long a time, for the Lord only allows such trials until they have served their purpose and improved the heart of the human being. Because it is not His will that you should suffer except that through this you are made worthy of everlasting joy....

Objetivo do Sofrimento - Exames.... Inércia da mente....

Muitos eventos na vida fazem as pessoas desanimarem.... É como um anel ao redor do coração de uma pessoa assim, sempre e sempre dúvidas sobre a bondade e misericórdia de Deus querem surgir quando o sofrimento e os problemas surgem com demasiada frequência.... e, no entanto, estes só lhe dão a maturidade interior que, de outra forma, teria de ganhar em muito mais tempo. E como a vida terrena cobre apenas um curto período de tempo, tais eventos opressivos ou tormentosos terão de ocorrer com freqüência e às vezes rapidamente, um após o outro, para que dela surja uma bênção, de modo que você possa captar a vida com seriedade e prudência e, cada vez mais, desviar o seu desejo do mundo e dos seus atrativos, o que, ao mesmo tempo, significa um sério perigo para você. A vida muitas vezes parece insuportável para o indivíduo, às vezes a criança terrestre até cansa e deixa suas asas penduradas. deixa-se arrastar sem fazer nada para mudar esta vida desanimada. E, no entanto, seria tão fácil para você assim que a atitude correta para com Deus lhe mostrasse o caminho que você tem que tomar..... Preste atenção aos muitos obstáculos aparentemente intransponíveis em sua vida.... você teria escapado deles se a ajuda nem sempre tivesse vindo de cima.... Você pode nem sempre reconhecê-lo como sendo enviado de cima, mas cada evento é uma saída da graça de Deus.... se bom ou mau.... tem sempre o mesmo propósito, ter um efeito enobrecedor em vocês, crianças humanas, e se isso for capaz de ver um meio de melhorar em cada teste, então também já existe a realização das próprias falhas e fraquezas, e com a realização também vem o desejo silencioso de combater essas.... Então cada prova já cumpriu o seu propósito.... e, portanto, em todas as situações difíceis, os pensamentos terão sempre de se voltar para o facto de serem necessários para a obtenção de um grau superior.... que são, por assim dizer, os degraus da escada que conduzem à perfeição da.... da alma Uma vida sem luta significaria apenas permanecer no mesmo nível, mas a luta contra si mesmo é muito mais difícil de ser travada do que contra inimigos que se aproximam do ser humano de fora. Cada despertar da inércia espiritual é progresso.... a pessoa desperta também considerará o seu espírito, não a deixará passar fome.... contudo a inércia é um declínio, não pode ser chamada de revigorante de forma alguma, sufocará todo o impulso à atividade e, portanto, nunca poderá ter um efeito benéfico sobre a alma. Portanto, não se deixem assustar onde a adversidade da vida parece difícil de suportar.... Se você descobriu suas falhas através de tais e lutou contra elas, isso logo o deixará novamente, pois o Senhor só permite tais provações até que elas tenham servido ao seu propósito e tenham tido um efeito de melhoria no coração do ser humano. Porque não é a Sua vontade que sofram, mas apenas que através disso se tornem dignos da alegria eterna....
