3780 Inner peace.... connection with God....

May 25, 1946: Book 48

In the connection with Me you will find peace and inner peace. I am constantly with you, yet in order to be tangibly close to you your thoughts must also be with Me, and you will feel Me and receive strength as required. The adversity of the body helps the soul to liberate itself and to swing into spiritual spheres, and when it returns to earth it is strengthened and no longer fears earthly adversity. For My breath has touched it, it has entered My flow of strength because it craved strength, and My strength is the outpouring of Myself, I am close to you, and where I am every anxiety, every worry is invalid. Connect with Me often, make yourselves receptive for the flow of strength of My love, open yourselves and My presence will become conscious to you and bring you inner peace. Strength constantly flows to you through My word, and if you adhere to it you can constantly strengthen yourselves as soon as you need strength. It is My will that you remember Me in hours of adversity, that you call out to Me and seek contact with Me from the bottom of your heart so that My strength can become effective in you. For then you will also believe in Me, My might and My love, and then you will also be assured of all help.... Call upon Me in adversity and I will hear you.... and do not doubt this word, for every doubt diminishes the flow of strength, through your doubts you yourselves limit My activity towards you.... Believe that I want to help you and can help you, and ask for this help and it will be given to you in every adversity of body and soul. And your soul will stop trembling and worrying, it will become calm in Me, aware of My presence and My constant willingness to help....
