Bedingungen zum Wirken des Geistes.... Gottesverbundenheit durch Liebe....

Aus allen Gebieten könnt ihr Wissen entgegennehmen, so ihr dies begehret und euch durch die Stimme des Geistes belehren lasset. Bedingung aber ist, daß ihr vorerst erfüllet, was Ich von euch fordere, was euch durch Meine Diener bekanntgegeben wird.... daß ihr also Meine Liebelehre annehmet und danach handelt.... Das ist die Voraussetzung, um dann auch in tiefes Wissen einzudringen. Empfanget ihr durch menschliche Belehrungen das gleiche Wissen ohne zuvoriges Liebeswirken, so werdet ihr nichts damit anzufangen wissen, ihr werdet es auch nicht lebendig weitergeben können an eure Mitmenschen, denn da es selbst noch nicht Eingang gefunden hat in euer Herz, fehlt euch sowohl die Gabe des Vortragens darüber als auch der Eifer der inneren Überzeugung, und es verhallt völlig wirkungslos an den Ohren derer, die es anhören, wenn nicht das zur Bedingung gemachte Liebeswirken den Zuhörenden fähig macht, mit Herz und Verstand die Weisheiten aufzunehmen. Dann wirket Mein Geist wie in jenen Menschen, er wird vom Geist in sich belehrt, wenn auch durch den Mund dessen, der selbst voller Verständnis ist für das, was er weitergibt. Die rechte Einstellung zu Mir, zu Meinen Geboten, ist Grundbedingung, um in wahrheitsgemäßem Wissen zu stehen, ganz gleich, in welcher Weise und in welcher Form jenes geboten wird. Und darum können diese Kundgaben, die als gedankliches Geistesgut den Menschen übermittelt werden aus dem geistigen Reich, niemals geprüft werden von einem Menschen, dem die Hauptsache fehlt.... die Gottverbundenheit durch die Liebe. Ein gerechtes Prüfen und ein gerechtes Urteil bedingt unwiderruflich Wirken des Geistes, und Mein Geist wirket nur dort, wo jegliche Einwirkung von seiten des Gegners ausschaltet, wo der göttliche Geistesfunken die Verbindung mit dem Vatergeist von Ewigkeit herstellt, was nur durch ein Gestalten zur Liebe möglich ist. In jeder Lebenslage kann sich der Mensch zur Liebe gestalten, und daher kann auch jeder Mensch seinen Geist wirksam werden lassen, doch es muß auch das Aufnehmen des Geistesgutes geübt werden, ansonsten die Stimme des Geistes nicht vernehmbar ist, wie auch der Gedanken geachtet werden muß, so der Geist sich nicht hörbar äußern kann. Es ist keine Sprache der Welt, die der Geist führt, es sind Worte des Lichtes und der Liebe, Worte, die Erkenntnis vermitteln, tiefes Wissen und reinste Wahrheit und die Gottes große Liebe bekunden, die ein guter Vater zu Seinen Kindern spricht. Und also muß das Herz diese Worte aufnehmen, denn der Verstand allein kann wohl den Inhalt entgegennehmen, niemals aber in seiner Tiefe erfassen, weil das göttliche Wort empfunden werden muß, nicht nur angehört werden darf. Und dies ist Sache des Herzens, ansonsten die Liebe Gottes nicht erkannt und also auch nicht wirksam werden kann. Es ist das menschliche Herz der Sitz der Empfindung, d.h., die Seele teilt sich durch das Herz dem Körper mit, und also will auch der Geist sich durch das Herz äußern. Es schaltet sich der Geist in das Empfindungsleben der Seele ein und will so gleichfalls dem Körper zu Gehör gebracht werden; er will sich gewissermaßen mit der Seele vereinen zu gleichem Wirken. Er will die Seele hinüberziehen in das geistige Reich und auch den Körper seinem Willen gefügig machen. Und es muß also der Mensch mithelfen an dieser Einigung des Körpers mit der Seele, er muß wollen, daß er vom Geist in sich bedacht wird, daß er belehrt wird, und alles dazu tun, um die Stimme zu vernehmen, was erst dann möglich ist, wenn er durch ein uneigennütziges Liebesleben seine Seele so gestaltet hat, daß sie sich nun mehr dem Geist als dem Körper zuneigt, daß sie vom Herzen getrieben wird, Licht und Liebe zu begehren, auf daß nun ihr Verlangen erfüllt wird. Denn das ist Bedingung, daß nach Gaben des Geistes verlangt wird. Der Verstand allein aber wird wohl prüfen oder urteilen, niemals aber vom Empfinden beeinflußt, der Verstand allein fordert Beweise, die in geistigen Wahrheiten nicht geliefert werden können, das Herz aber begnügt sich und läßt sein Empfinden als Beweis gelten und wird daher zuverlässiger und richtiger urteilen und die Wahrheit als Wahrheit erkennen. Es besitzt sonach eine Fähigkeit, auf die der Verstand keinen Anspruch erheben kann. Und so ist es also verständlich, daß nur dann recht geurteilt werden kann über die Ergebnisse des Geisteswirkens, wenn der Prüfende selbst den Geist in sich zu Rate zieht und wenn er sich dessen Äußerungen würdig macht, d.h. alle Bedingungen erfüllt, die ihm das Wirken des Geistes eintragen. Denn nun wird auch sein Wissen vertieft und umfangreich, und ihm werden alle Zusammenhänge klar, die er bei nur Verstandesdenken niemals ergründen kann. Denn Gott verbirgt Sich den Menschen, die Ihm noch fernstehen, damit sie zu Ihm kommen und Seine Hilfe erbitten, daß sie Ihn anrufen um erleuchtetes Denken, denn dieser Anruf kommt aus dem Herzen und wird auch dem Herzen eintragen, was der Seele dienlich ist zur Vereinigung mit ihrem Geist.... Das Herz wird empfangen dürfen Liebe und Gnade und niemals leer ausgehen, so es sich öffnet durch inniges Gebet zu Gott, Der dieses stets erhören wird....

Conditions for the working of the spirit.... God-connectedness through love....

You can receive knowledge from all fields if you so desire and allow yourselves to be instructed by the voice of the spirit. But the condition is that you first fulfil what I demand of you, what is made known to you through My servants.... that you thus accept My teaching of love and act accordingly.... This is the prerequisite for then also penetrating deep knowledge. If you receive the same knowledge through human instructions without first working with love you will not know what to do with it, you will also not be able to pass it on to your fellow human beings in a living way, for since it has not yet found its way into your heart yourselves you lack both the gift of speaking about it as well as the zeal of inner conviction, and it will remain entirely ineffective in the ears of those who listen to it unless the required working with love makes the listener able to receive the wisdom with heart and intellect. Then My spirit will work as in those persons, he will be instructed by the spirit within himself, albeit through the mouth of the one who is full of understanding himself for what he passes on. The right attitude towards Me, towards My commandments, is the basic condition in order to have truthful knowledge, no matter in which way and in which form it is offered. And therefore, these proclamations, which are conveyed to people from the spiritual kingdom as mental spiritual knowledge, can never be examined by a person who lacks the main thing.... the bond with God through love. A just examination and a just judgment irrevocably necessitates the working of the spirit, and My spirit only works where all influence on the part of the adversary is eliminated, where the divine spiritual spark establishes the connection with the eternal father-spirit, which is only possible by shaping oneself into love. In every situation of life the human being can shape himself into love, and therefore every human being can also let his spirit become effective, yet the reception of spiritual knowledge must also be practised, otherwise the voice of the spirit cannot be heard, just as the thoughts must be paid attention to if the spirit cannot express itself audibly. It is not a language of the world which the spirit speaks, they are words of light and love, words which convey realisation, profound knowledge and purest truth and which express God's great love, which a good father speaks to His children. And thus the heart has to accept these words, for the intellect alone can certainly receive the content but never grasp its depth, because the divine word has to be felt, not merely heard. And this is a matter of the heart, otherwise God's love cannot be recognised and thus cannot become effective either. The human heart is the seat of feeling, i.e., the soul communicates to the body through the heart and equally the spirit also wants to express itself through the heart. The spirit intervenes in the soul's life of feeling and thus likewise wants to be heard by the body; it wants, as it were, to unite with the soul for the same activity. It wants to draw the soul over into the spiritual kingdom and also make the body submissive to its will. And therefore the human being must help in this unification of the body with the soul, he must want to be given to by the spirit within himself, to be instructed, and do everything in order to hear the voice, which is only possible when he has shaped his soul through an unselfish life of love such that it now leans more towards the spirit than the body, that it is driven by the heart to desire light and love, so that its desire will now be fulfilled. For this is the condition that the gifts of the spirit are desired. The intellect alone, however, will certainly examine or judge but never be influenced by feeling; the intellect alone demands evidence which cannot be produced in spiritual truths, but the heart is content and lets its feeling pass for an evidence and will therefore judge more reliably and correctly and recognise truth as truth. It therefore possesses an ability which the intellect cannot claim. And thus it is understandable that the results of the working of the spirit can only be judged correctly if the examiner himself consults the spirit within himself and if he makes himself worthy of its expressions, i.e. fulfils all conditions which earn him the working of the spirit. For then his knowledge will also become profound and extensive and all relations will become clear to him which he would never be able to fathom by merely thinking intellectually. For God hides Himself from people who are still distant from Him so that they will come to Him and appeal for His help, so that they will call upon Him for enlightened thinking, for this call comes from the heart and will also result in what is helpful for the soul to unite with its spirit.... The heart will be allowed to receive love and grace and never come away empty-handed if it opens itself through heartfelt prayer to God, Who will always hear it....
