Arme Seelen.... Reue.... Liebende Hilfe....

Wenn ihr Menschen das Erdenleben zurückgelegt habt und in das geistige Reich eingegangen seid, so erscheint euch die Zeit eures Wandels auf Erden nur wie ein Augenblick, sowie euch die Rückerinnerung gegeben wird über die unendlich lange Zeit vor eurer Verkörperung als Mensch. Und dann erkennet ihr auch die große Gnade, die das letzte Stadium eurer Entwicklung für eure Seele gewesen ist, und gesegnet, der sie genützt hat und dem sie den Eingang in das Lichtreich eintrug, der sich keine Selbstvorwürfe zu machen braucht, daß er die Gnaden des Erdenlebens ungenützt vorübergehen ließ. Denn die Reue im Jenseits ist doppelt qualvoll, weil die Seele erkennt, daß sie nichts mehr gutmachen kann, was sie auf Erden verfehlt oder versäumt hat, wenn die Seele erkennt, welche unvorstellbaren Qualen der endlos lange Erdengang umfaßt hat und wie leicht dagegen das kurze Leben als Mensch war, das sie nicht entsprechend gewertet hat.... Die Reue über ein falsch gelebtes Erdenleben ist so quälend und bedrückend für die Seele, daß sie allein schon dadurch unsagbar büßet und ihren qualvollen Zustand verschlimmert; doch das Erdenleben mit seinen vielen Möglichkeiten zum Reifen ist nun vorüber, und es muß die Seele die Folgen auf sich nehmen entsprechend ihrem Erdenlebenswandel. Sie muß nun im Jenseits den Entwicklungsgang fortsetzen, doch unter weit größeren Schwierigkeiten als auf der Erde, sowie ihr der Eingang in das Lichtreich noch verwehrt ist. Ihr Menschen wisset nicht, wie arm eine solche Seele ist, die noch in der Finsternis weilt, und welche erbarmende Liebe sie benötigt, wenn ihr Hilfe gebracht werden soll. Und ihr alle sollt euch solcher Seelen erbarmen, ihr sollt ihnen die Liebe geben, ansonsten sie ewiglich nicht erlöst werden können, weil sie allein zu schwach sind, weil die Liebe allein ihnen Kraft gibt und die Seelen sich von den Menschen diese Liebe erhoffen und erbitten. Denn das lichtvolle Geistige kann erst dann diesen Seelen beistehen, wenn sie sich bereit erklären, anderen Seelen zu helfen. Um aber diesen Hilfswillen in sich aufkommen zu lassen, muß ihr Wille gestärkt werden, und dies bewirket nur die Kraft, die ihnen durch Liebe der Menschen auf Erden zugeführt wird. Unerlöste Seelen, also solche, die das Erdenleben nicht recht ausgenützt haben oder gänzlich ohne geistiges Streben gelebt haben auf Erden, sind in größter Not, weil sie völlig kraftlos sind und einen völlig geschwächten Willen haben. Diesen Seelen beizustehen ist eines der größten Liebeswerke, die der Mensch verrichten kann. Er soll unentwegt beten für solche Seelen, er soll ihnen in Gedanken vorhalten, daß sie sich liebend betätigen müssen auch im Jenseits, er soll ihnen immer und immer wieder die Liebe predigen, er soll mit ihnen reden in Gedanken und ihnen Kraft zuwenden durch seine Liebe, die von der Seele wohltätig empfunden wird, weil sie ihren Leidenszustand lindert. Und die Seelen danken es den Menschen ewiglich, die sie aus ihrem qualvollen Zustand erlösen durch ihre liebende Hilfe. Sowie sie sich selbst beteiligen können am Erlösungswerk, sowie sie anderen Seelen ihr Leid verringern können durch Zuführen von geistigem Wissen, das sie sich aber erst erwerben müssen. Durch ihren Willen zu helfen ist ihre größte Not behoben, und ihre Reue läßt im selben Maß nach, wie sich der Hilfswille erhöht. Denn nun erkennt sie, daß sie im geistigen Reich benötigt wird, und ihr Eifer läßt sie das eigene Leid vergessen.... Sie trachtet danach, geistige Güter zu sammeln, um sie wieder austeilen zu können; sie hat sich einen neuen Wirkungskreis geschaffen und suchet nun nachzuholen, was sie auf Erden versäumt hat.... Liebe zu geben.... Und nun setzet sie ihren Entwicklungsgang im geistigen Reich fort, dank der Hilfe, die ihr das liebende Gedenken der Menschen auf Erden gebracht hat, für das sie ewig dankbar sind....

Needy souls.... Remorse.... Loving help....

When you humans have concluded your earthly life and entered the spiritual realm, the time of your earthly life will appear like a mere moment as soon as the memory of the infinitely long time before your embodiment as a human being is returned to you. And then you will also understand that the last stage of your soul’s development has been an great mercy, and anyone who has used it and achieved admission into the spiritual realm, anyone who need not reproach himself for having allowed the graces of earthly life pass him by, is blessed. The remorse in the beyond is all the more painful when the soul realises that it is no longer able to put right what it had avoided or neglected on earth, when the soul becomes aware of the inconceivable suffering of the infinitely long earthly path and how easy the short life as a human being had been in comparison, which it did not value correctly.... The soul’s regret of a wrongly lived earthly life is so agonising and depressing that this in itself causes the soul to do penance and worsens its painful situation; yet physical life with its many opportunities to mature is over now and the soul has to accept the consequences of its earthly way of life. It has to continue its process of development in the beyond but with far more difficulties than on earth as long as it is not allowed to enter the realm of light.

You humans do not know the distress of such a soul in darkness and the merciful love it requires to receive help. You all should have compassion on such souls, you should think of them with love or they can never be redeemed because they are too weak without help, because only love will give them strength and the souls hope and ask for this love from people.... since the spirits of light can only help these souls when they are willing to help other souls. But in order to awaken this willingness to help their will has to be strengthened, and only the strength given to them by people’s love on earth can achieve that. Lost souls, i.e. those who have not used their earthly life correctly or who lived entirely without spiritual aspiration on earth are in greatest need because they have no strength whatsoever and entirely depleted willpower. To help these souls is one of the greatest works of love which the human being can perform. He should constantly pray for such souls, he should mentally inform them that they ought to act with kindness even in the beyond, time and again he should urge them to love, he should mentally communicate with them and with his love give them strength, which is comforting to the soul as it alleviates its state of suffering. And the souls will be eternally grateful to people whose loving help will release them from their agonising situation as soon as they can take part in the redemption work themselves, as soon as they can reduce the suffering of other souls by bringing them spiritual knowledge which, however, they first have to acquire themselves.

Due to their will to help their greatest need is remedied and their remorse will lessen at the same rate as their willingness to help grows. For then the soul understands that it is needed in the spiritual realm and in its enthusiasm forgets its own suffering.... It strives to gather spiritual values in order to share them again; it has created for itself a new sphere of activity and tries to make up for what it had neglected to do on earth.... to give love.... And now it can continue its process of development in the spiritual realm, thanks to the help of people’s loving thoughts on earth for which it will be eternally grateful....
