Ringen um festen Glauben....

Nichts soll euren Glauben erschüttern, und also müsset ihr ringen um festen Glauben schon vor der Zeit, die große Anforderungen an diesen stellen wird. Und darum müsset ihr Prüfungen unterzogen werden, auf daß ihr nicht wankend werdet in Zeiten der Not. Denn dann habt ihr keinen anderen Halt als allein nur den Glauben, dieser aber wird euch auch alles ertragen und überwinden helfen, denn so ihr einen starken Glauben euer eigen nennt, steht ihr niemals allein, sondern immer ist euer Vater im Himmel bei euch. Er ist euer ständiger Begleiter, Dem ihr euch bedenkenlos anvertrauen könnt, Der euch recht führt und euch schützt vor falschem Handeln und Denken. Und so ihr richtig handelt und denkt, gereicht euch alles zum Besten. Darum bittet unentwegt um starken Glauben, kämpfet gegen eure Schwäche an, bleibet Gott stets ergeben, und übergebt euch Ihm in tiefster Demut und Liebe, und ihr werdet Seines Beistandes niemals zu entbehren brauchen und stark werden im Geist....

Struggling for firm faith....

Nothing shall shake your faith, and thus you will have to struggle for firm faith even before the time that will make great demands on it. And therefore you must be subjected to trials so that you will not waver in times of adversity. For then you will have no other support than faith alone, but this will also help you to endure and overcome everything, for if you call a strong faith your own you will never stand alone but your father in heaven will always be with you. He is your constant companion to Whom you can entrust yourselves without hesitation, Who guides you correctly and protects you from wrong actions and thoughts. And if you act and think correctly, everything will work out for the best. Therefore, constantly ask for strong faith, fight against your weakness, always remain devoted to God and hand yourselves over to Him in deepest humility and love, and you will never have to do without His support and will become strong in spirit....
