Geistige Mitteilungen müssen im Zusammenhang stehen mit der christlichen Lehre....

Der Geist aus Gott vermittelt nur geistige Wahrheiten, und es kann daher bedingungslos als Wahrheit angenommen werden, was durch Geisteswirken den Menschen kundgetan wird. Sowie nun irdischer Geschehen Erwähnung getan wird, müssen diese immer in einem gewissen Zusammenhang stehen mit der geistigen Entwicklung der Menschen, also es müssen diese irdischen Geschehen sich so auswirken, daß sie der Höherentwicklung der Seele dienen können. Dann ist solchen Mitteilungen aus dem geistigen Reich gleichfalls Glauben zu schenken, und sie sind als göttliches Geisteswirken anzuerkennen. Immer müssen geistige Vermittlungen mit der christlichen Lehre in Zusammenhang stehen, dann sind sie aus dem Reich des Lichtes ausgegangen und zum Segen der Menschheit dieser offenbart worden. Und dies ist für euch von größter Bedeutung, daß ihr die Verbindung findet zwischen diesen Kundgaben und dem Wort, das der Herr auf Erden gelehrt hat.... Das gleiche teilt Er nun wieder aus in anderer Form. Es hat der Herr auf Erden angekündigt, daß die Erde heimgesucht wird, daß Not und Trübsal über sie kommen wird und daß kein Stein auf dem anderen bleiben soll. Und also muß Er das gleiche wieder den Menschen kundtun und Seiner Ankündigung auch die Tat folgen lassen. Es muß sich erfüllen, was der Herr gesagt hat, ansonsten Sein Wort nicht Wahrheit wäre. Es muß sich erfüllen, weil die geistige Entwicklung der Menschen damit in Zusammenhang steht. Also kann bedenkenlos eine Offenbarung als göttliche angenommen werden, sowie sie die Veredlung der Menschen bezweckt, wenngleich sie irdische Geschehnisse behandelt, denn Gott will durch solche Ereignisse den Menschen die Wahrheit dessen beweisen, was Er gelehrt hat auf Erden und noch immer lehrt. Er will ihnen einen kleinen Beweis liefern, auf daß die Menschen leicht zum Glauben finden oder ihren schwachen Glauben stärken, denn es glaubt der Mensch erst, so er Beweise hat, anders aber sind ihm Beweise nicht zu geben, d.h., was an geistigen Wahrheiten dem Menschen vermittelt wird, kann ihm erst offenbar werden nach dem Leibestode, also würde er auf Erden niemals einen Beweis haben für die Wahrheiten, die ihm geistig vermittelt werden. Und Gott kommt nun dem Menschen zu Hilfe, indem Er ihm die Möglichkeit gibt, Sein göttliches Wort auf seine Wahrhaftigkeit hin zu prüfen, denn daran wird es offenbar werden, daß sich alles erfüllet, was der Herr gesagt hat bei Seinem Lebenswandel, auf daß das Erkennen der Wahrheit dazu beiträgt, das Erdenleben zu führen nach göttlichem Willen, daß also der Höherentwicklung der Seele Rechnung getragen werde, daß der Mensch reife in sich und alles tut, was zur Umgestaltung seiner Seele beiträgt....

Spiritual communications must be related to christian teaching....

The spirit from God only imparts spiritual truths, and therefore whatever is revealed to people through the working of the spirit can be unconditionally accepted as truth. As soon as earthly events are mentioned they always have to be in a certain connection with the spiritual development of men, therefore these earthly events have to have such an effect that they can serve the higher development of the soul. Then such messages from the spiritual kingdom are likewise to be believed and they are to be recognized as divine spiritual work. Spiritual impartations always have to be related to the christian teaching, then they have emerged from the kingdom of light and been revealed to it for the benefit of humanity. And this is of utmost importance for you, that you find the connection between these proclamations and the word which the lord taught on earth.... He is now giving out the same again in a different form. The lord has announced on earth that the earth will be afflicted, that trouble and tribulation will come upon it and that not one stone shall be left upon another. And so He must announce the same again to people and let His announcement be followed by action. What the lord has said must be fulfilled, otherwise His word would not be truth. It must fulfil itself because the spiritual development of people is connected with it. Thus a revelation can be accepted as divine without hesitation as soon as it aims to ennoble people, even though it deals with earthly events, for God wants to prove to people through such events the truth of what He taught on earth and still teaches. He wants to provide them with a little proof so that people will easily find faith or strengthen their weak faith, for a person will only believe if he has proof, but otherwise he cannot be given proof, i.e., the spiritual truths imparted to a person can only be revealed to him after the death of his body, thus he would never have proof on earth of the truths which are imparted to him spiritually. And God now comes to the human being's aid by giving him the opportunity to test the truthfulness of His divine word, for this will reveal that everything the lord has said in His way of life will come true, so that the realization of truth will contribute towards leading earthly life in accordance with divine will, so that the soul's higher development will be taken into account, so that the human being will mature within himself and do everything that contributes towards the transformation of his soul....
