Tröstende Worte.... Gebet im Geist und in der Wahrheit....

So vertrauet der Güte und Liebe des Herrn. Stellet Ihm euer Leid und eure Sorge anheim, und gebt euch hin Seiner Gnade und Barmherzigkeit. Der euch das Leben gab, der weiß auch, was eurer Seele dient zu ihrem Heil, und Seiner Liebe müsset ihr euch anvertrauen. Denn so ihr innig bittet.... im Geist und in der Wahrheit.... so nicht nur eure Lippen sprechen, sondern ihr tief im Herzen empfindet, was ihr aussprecht, werdet ihr auch Gnade finden vor dem Herrn.... Denn Er will nicht, daß ihr leidet, sondern daß ihr zu Ihm findet und mit jedem Anliegen zu Ihm kommt. Er will, daß ihr innig euch Ihm verbindet; Er will, daß ihr wie ein Kind zum Vater kommt; Er will nur euer Herz.... Er will, daß ihr zu Ihm sprecht zu jeder Zeit, Er will, daß ihr Ihm eure Nöte anvertraut und gläubig Seine Hilfe erwartet. Denn Er liebt euch, wie ein Vater seine Kinder liebt.... Er will euch geben ein Leben in ewiger Herrlichkeit, und also sollet ihr euch läutern während eures Erdendaseins und müsset daher Kreuz und Leid auf euch nehmen. Und ihr sollt jederzeit daran denken, daß Jesus Christus Sein Kreuz getragen hat, um der Menschen Leid zu verringern, und wer sein Kreuz auf Erden ergeben trägt, der trägt gleichsam das Kreuz für seinen Heiland und Erlöser. Er beteiligt sich an dem Erlösungswerk Christi schon auf Erden. Doch niemals ist das Leid größer als der Helfer.... und so ihr zaghaft werdet, wird der Vater im Himmel euch wieder stärken, so ihr Ihn nur innig bittet, daß Er euch beistehen möge.... Bringet jedes Opfer aus Liebe zu Ihm, und es wird euch dereinst tausendfach belohnt werden. Aber fürchtet nicht die Welt.... Denn Gott ist größer als die Welt.... Gottes Macht reicht auch dorthin, wo des Menschen Macht versagt. Und so ihr Gott anruft um Hilfe, wird Er sie euch gewähren, denn nur Seine unendliche Liebe bestimmt Ihn, euch auch zuweilen Leid zu senden, auf daß Er eure Herzen gewinne und ihr die innige Verbindung eingeht mit Dem, Der euer aller Vater ist....

Words of comfort.... prayer in spirit and in truth....

So trust in the goodness and love of the lord. Entrust your suffering and your worries to Him and surrender yourselves to His grace and mercy. He who gave you life also knows what serves your soul for its salvation, and you must entrust yourselves to His love. For if you pray fervently.... in spirit and in truth.... so not only your lips speak, but you feel deeply in your heart what you say, you will also find favour before the lord.... For He does not want you to suffer, but that you find your way to Him and come to Him with every request. He wants you to be intimately united with Him; He wants you to come to the father like a child; He only wants your heart.... He wants you to speak to Him at all times, He wants you to entrust your needs to Him and faithfully expect His help. For He loves you as a father loves his children.... He wants to give you a life of eternal glory, and thus you are to purify yourselves during your earthly existence and therefore have to take the cross and suffering upon yourselves. And you should always remember that Jesus Christ carried His cross in order to reduce people's suffering, and anyone who devotedly carries his cross on earth is, as it were, carrying the cross for his saviour and redeemer. He is already participating in Christ's work of redemption on earth. Yet suffering is never greater than the helper.... and if you become timid, the father in heaven will strengthen you again if only you ask Him sincerely to help you.... Make every sacrifice out of love for Him, and one day you will be rewarded a thousandfold. But do not fear the world.... For God is greater than the world.... God's power also reaches where man's power fails. And if you call upon God for help, He will grant it to you, for only His infinite love determines Him to send you suffering from time to time so that He may win your hearts and you may enter into intimate union with the one Who is the father of you all....
