Pflicht der Verbreitung der Wahrheit....

Die reine Wahrheit wird stets erkannt werden von denen, die wahrheitshungrig sind. Es muß aber auch der Mensch ernstlich bestrebt sein, sich dazu zu bekennen, so er erkannt hat, denn es soll sich die Wahrheit Bahn brechen. Sowie der Mensch Gott bejaht, so muß er auch die Wahrheit bejahen, denn Gott ist die Wahrheit. Gibt Sich nun Gott Selbst durch die Wahrheit zu erkennen, so genügt es nicht, daß der Mensch in sich die Zweifel verstummen läßt; es genügt nicht, daß er sich nun bejahend dazu einstellt, sondern er muß nun, was ihm gegeben wurde, vertreten den Mitmenschen gegenüber. Und das ist oft nicht leicht, wenn er zuvor eine Ansicht hatte, die allgemein verbreitet war, und nun eingestehen muß, daß er sich geirrt hat und sich nun erst einmal dieser falschen Ansicht entäußern muß. Es kostet dies Überwindung, und doch fordert Gott von ihm, daß er weitergibt, was er empfangen hat. Der Zustand der völligen Unwissenheit ist am geeignetsten, daß der Mensch in der Wahrheit unterwiesen werden kann.... Selig sind die Armen im Geiste.... Wer jedoch zuvor schon ein Wissen aufgenommen hat, das der Wahrheit nicht restlos entspricht, der hat weit mehr hinzugeben, will er ewige Weisheiten empfangen. Er muß einen Unterschied machen, daß er zuvor Menschenwerk aufgenommen hat, daß ihm nun aber Gottes Gabe vermittelt wird.... er muß, was Menschen ihm zuvor gelehrt haben, widerstandslos dahingeben und es Gott Selbst überlassen, was Er ihm davon wieder zurückgeben will. Und es wird der Mensch weit mehr empfangen, als er hingibt. Und bei genauer Betrachtung bekommt er das gleiche zurück, nur gereinigt und ohne den Ballast, den Menschen der reinen Wahrheit hinzufügt haben. Es wird für ihn an Bedeutung verlieren, was er dahingibt an Glaubenslehren, jedoch ungemein bedeutungsvoll sein, was er entgegennimmt und nun als reinste Wahrheit erkennt. Denn es ist wahrlich nicht wichtig, eine althergebrachte Lehre unverändert weiterzugeben, die nicht voll und ganz der Wahrheit entspricht, dagegen von größter Wichtigkeit, für die Verbreitung einer als Wahrheit erkannten Lehre Sorge zu tragen. Und solange Streitfragen darüber entbrennen, ist der Mensch noch nicht ganz in die Wahrheit eingedrungen, und er hat darum auch die Pflicht, Gott Selbst um die Wahrheit zu bitten. Gottes Liebe enthält keinem Menschen die Wahrheit vor, doch es ist schwer, eine der Wahrheit entsprechende Aufklärung den Menschen zu geben, die sich in der Wahrheit stehend wähnen. Und so wird dort immer noch Unklarheit sein, weil sie selbst den unklaren Zustand sich schaffen durch eine gewisse geistige Überheblichkeit. Sie sehen sich als Träger der Wahrheit an, und es ist dies ganz unbegründet. Täuschen kann sich der Mensch, solange er auf Erden lebt.... er muß nur den Mut haben, eine erkannte Täuschung einzugestehen. Doch dieses Opfer muß er bringen als Dank für die Gnade, nun die reinste Wahrheit übermittelt zu bekommen. Dies ist die Forderung, die Gott an den Menschen stellt, und also auch ein Maßstab für die Liebe, die der Mensch seinem Schöpfer und Vater entgegenbringt....

Duty to disseminate the truth....

The pure truth will always be recognized by those who are hungry for truth. But man must also earnestly endeavour to profess it when he has recognized it, for the truth is to break through. As soon as a person affirms God, he must also affirm the truth, for God is the truth. If God now reveals Himself through the truth, it is not enough for the human being to silence the doubts within himself; it is not enough for him to affirm it, but he must now defend what has been given to him to his fellow human beings. And this is often not easy if he previously held a view that was generally accepted and now has to admit that he was wrong and must first renounce this wrong view. This takes effort, and yet God requires him to pass on what he has received. The state of complete ignorance is most suitable for a person to be instructed in the truth.... Blessed are the poor in spirit.... However, anyone who has previously received knowledge that does not fully correspond to the truth has far more to give if he wants to receive eternal wisdom. He must make a distinction between the fact that he has previously received the work of men and that God's gift is now imparted to him.... he must give away without resistance what people have previously taught him and leave it to God Himself what He wants to give back to him. And the person will receive far more than he gives. And on closer inspection he will receive the same back, only purified and without the ballast that people have added to the pure truth. What he gives away in terms of doctrines of faith will lose significance for him, but what he receives and now recognizes as purest truth will be immensely meaningful. For it is truly not important to pass on unchanged a traditional teaching that does not fully correspond to the truth, but it is of the utmost importance to take care of the dissemination of a teaching that is recognized as truth. And as long as disputes arise about it, the human being has not yet fully penetrated the truth and therefore also has the duty to ask God Himself for the truth. God's love withholds the truth from no-one, yet it is difficult to give an explanation corresponding to the truth to those people who believe themselves to be in the truth. And so there will still be uncertainty because they themselves create the unclear state through a certain spiritual arrogance. They see themselves as the bearers of truth and this is completely unfounded. Man can deceive himself as long as he lives on earth.... he only has to have the courage to admit a recognized deception. But he must make this sacrifice in gratitude for the grace of being given the purest truth. This is the demand God makes of man and therefore also a measure of the love man has for his creator and father....
