Befolgen des göttlichen Wortes.... Wirksamkeit dessen....

Bringe folgendes zur Niederschrift: Die Worte, von oben gegeben, müssen dankend in Empfang genommen und im Herzen erwogen werden, um nun auch zu wirken als Kraft. Was niedergeschrieben ist, soll nun wirken.... es soll die Gedanken der Menschen anregen und sie bestimmen, dem Wort entsprechend zu leben. Und nun wird auch die Wirkung des göttlichen Wortes zu spüren sein, indem es die Menschen veredelt, sie zur Liebe erzieht und sie zum Streben nach Gott, nach dem Licht und der Wahrheit veranlaßt. Das Wort Gottes entgegenzunehmen ist allein nicht genügend, es muß nun der Mensch alles in die Tat umsetzen, und das erfordert Kraft, die er sich erbeten muß. Also ist immer wieder das Gebet nötig, um das göttliche Wort befolgen zu können, denn die Kraft des Menschen ist unzulänglich, wird aber ungemessen vermehrt, so dies erbeten wird. Es genügt der Wille des Menschen, Gott zu dienen und sich selbst zur Entgegennahme des Gotteswortes vorzubereiten, um dieser Gnade gewürdigt zu werden. Es muß nun aber auch der ganze Wille aufgeboten werden, das Empfangene zum geistigen Eigentum zu machen, d.h., es muß Herz und Verstand tätig sein, um das Gebotene in sich wirken zu lassen, und es muß gleichzeitig der Wille stark sein, Gottes Willen, der den Menschen kundgetan wird, zu erfüllen. Es muß also das, was Gott gibt, auch verwertet werden, auf daß der Segen dessen sichtbar werden kann. Und es gibt so endlos viele Möglichkeiten, das göttliche Wort in sich wirken zu lassen.... es ist immer der Wille Voraussetzung, dem Folge zu leisten, was Gott verlangt. Und je nachdem nun dieser Wille in die Tat umgesetzt wird, wird der Mensch auch den Segen und die Kraft spüren als erhöhten Willen, Gott zu dienen, verstärkte Erkenntniskraft und freudiges Dienen dem Nächsten, der seine Hilfe benötigt. Dann erst wird das Wort Gottes bewußt entgegengenommen, wenn es zum geistigen Eigentum geworden ist und befolgt wird. Das Wissen allein ohne die Tat genügt nicht. Gott will, daß Seine Gabe mit tief dankbarem Herzen empfangen wird und nun nicht achtlos zur Seite gelegt wird. Die Menschheit aber hört wohl das Wort, läßt es aber unbeachtet vorübergehen.... Und also mangelt es ihr auch an Kraft, Göttliches zu erkennen. Es kann somit auch die Kraft des göttlichen Wortes nicht wirksam werden, und es wird der Menschheit daher nicht die Wahrheit dessen bewiesen werden können, was Gott als Verheißung den Menschen zugehen läßt. Doch der gläubige Mensch, der nach dem Wort Gottes lebt, wird vollauf die Segnungen dessen an sich selbst erfahren....

Obeying the divine word.... effectiveness of its....

Write down the following: The words, given from above, must be gratefully received and pondered in the heart in order to now also work as power. What has been written down should now have an effect.... It should stimulate people's thoughts and determine them to live according to the word. And now the effect of the divine word will also be felt by ennobling people, educating them to love and causing them to strive for God, for light and truth. Receiving the word of God alone is not enough, man must now put everything into practice, and that requires strength, which he must ask for. Thus prayer is always necessary in order to be able to obey the divine word, for man's strength is inadequate but will be increased immeasurably if it is requested. Man's will to serve God and to prepare himself to receive God's word is sufficient to be honoured with this grace. But now also the whole will must be mustered to make the received spiritual property, i.e., heart and intellect must be active to let the offered work in oneself, and at the same time the will must be strong to fulfil God's will, which is announced to men. What God gives must therefore also be utilized so that the blessing of it can become visible. And there are so many endless possibilities to allow the divine word to take effect in you.... the prerequisite is always the will to comply with what God demands. And depending on how this will is put into practice, the person will also feel the blessing and the strength as an increased will to serve God, increased power of knowledge and joyful service to the neighbour who needs his help. Only then is the word of God consciously received when it has become spiritual property and is obeyed. Knowledge alone without action is not enough. God wants His gift to be received with a deeply grateful heart and not carelessly put aside. Mankind, however, hears the word but lets it pass by unheeded.... And so it also lacks the power to regocnize the divine. Consequently, the power of the divine word cannot become effective either and therefore it will not be possible to prove to humanity the truth of what God conveys to people as a promise. However, the believing person who lives according to the word of God will fully experience the blessings of it in himself....
