Mißachten der Gebote.... Erfüllen des geäußerten Willen Gottes....

Des Herrn Gebote dürfet ihr nicht mißachten. Ihr seid in einer unvergleichlich gefährdeten Lage, der ihr nicht beliebig entrinnen könnt, wenn ihr die göttlichen Gebote nicht befolget, und wenn ihr gleich glaubet, doch diesen Glauben nicht beweiset, indem ihr willig folget den Anordnungen des Herrn, so ist dieser Glaube nichts nütze, denn er ist nur rein äußerlich angenommen, aber nicht im Herzen verwurzelt. So wähnet ihr euch im Schutz des Herrn, und dieser ist euch auch zugesichert jederzeit, so ihr aber wankend werdet im Glauben, geht ihr des göttlichen Schutzes verlustig, denn ebender tiefe Glaube gewährleistet euch diesen. Wer aber den Herrn verläßt, indem er nicht im Glauben verharrt, den muß auch der Herr verlassen, und er wird schwere Wege gehen müssen, bis Sich der Herr ihm wieder zuwendet. Der Umgang mit der Welt ist so recht geeignet, die Glaubenslosigkeit zu fördern. Lasset die Menschen einsam durch das Leben gehen, so finden sie viel eher den Weg zum Vater als in der Verbindung mit der Welt, wo einer den anderen eher abwendig macht vom rechten Glauben, als ihn dafür zu gewinnen sucht. Und so ist jeder Schritt in die Welt immer eine Gefahr für den im Glauben stehenden Menschen, so er nicht die innere Festigkeit gefunden hat durch innigen Anschluß an den göttlichen Herrn und Heiland. Und welches Leid steht daher diesen vielen noch bevor, die nicht in sich gehen und ohne Erkenntnis ihrer Lebensaufgabe bleiben. Wenn solchen Menschen nicht das Leid gesendet würde, so vergingen Jahre um Jahre nutzlos, denn in der Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit des täglichen Lebens könnten sie nimmer zur Erkenntnis kommen, und es möchte die Stimme von oben ungehört verhallen. Es bedürften die Menschen dann keiner Hilfe, keines Trostes und keiner Belehrung. Alle Seelenfürsorge wäre ihnen unverständlicher Begriff und würde nur ihren Ablehnungswillen verstärken, die Erde böte ihnen genug des Schönen und eines Mehreren bedürften sie nicht. So aber ihnen die Vergänglichkeit alles dessen, was der Erde Annehmlichkeiten sind, so recht klar vor Augen gestellt wird, so ihr Leben nur immer durch Leid und Kummer schwer und reizlos wird, so suchen die Menschen einen Ersatz, der sie weniger enttäuscht, und finden diesen auch bei richtiger geistiger Einstellung, d.h., sobald sie allem Irdischen den Rücken kehren und sich mit der Frage des geistigen Lebens, mit dem Fortleben nach dem Tode befassen. Und nun setzt der Prozeß einer völligen Umgestaltung ein, wenn der Mensch diesem Problem nahegetreten ist. Er wird auch stets die rechte Antwort finden, wenn sein Wille ist, die göttlichen Gebote, so er diese erkennt, zu erfüllen.... wenn er alles tun will, was dem göttlichen Willen entspricht, so ihm dieser Wille offenbart wird. Es ist also eine jede Offenbarung wertvoll, und es muß ihr auch entsprochen werden, denn alle geistigen Fäden werden so geknüpft, wie sie den Menschen auf Erden dienlich sind.... und so das Erdenkind den geäußerten Willen nicht erfüllt, hat es keinen Anspruch auf die liebevolle Führung des Vaters, denn es handelt nach eigenem Ermessen und muß also auch die Folgen seiner Handlungsweise tragen. In aller geistigen Not soll den Menschen beigestanden werden, denn die irdische Not ist gering zu nennen, wenn der Seelenzustand der Hilfe bedarf. Die Leidenszeit der Erde geht vorüber, doch die Seele nimmt ihr Leid, so sie nicht vollendet ist, mit hinüber in die Ewigkeit. Darum gedenket ihrer im Gebet, auf daß der Herr sie stärke und ihr das Licht der Erkenntnis gebe....

Disregarding the commandments.... fulfilling the expressed will of God....

You must not disregard the lord's commandments. You are in an incomparably dangerous situation which you cannot escape at will if you don't obey the divine commandments, and even if you believe but don't prove this faith by willingly following the lord's instructions, this faith is of no use because it is only outwardly accepted but not rooted in the heart. Thus you believe yourselves to be protected by the lord, and this is also assured to you at all times, but if you waver in your faith you will lose divine protection, for it is precisely your profound faith which guarantees this. But anyone who forsakes the lord by not persevering in faith must also be forsaken by the lord, and he will have to travel difficult paths until the lord turns to him again. Contact with the world is quite suitable to promote faithlessness. Let people go through life alone and they will find the way to the father much sooner than in contact with the world, where one would rather turn the other away from the right faith than try to win him over. And thus every step into the world is always a danger for a person of faith who has not found inner stability through intimate contact with the divine lord and saviour. And what suffering still lies ahead for these many who do not go into themselves and remain without realization of their life's task. If suffering were not sent to such people, years and years would pass in vain, for in the peace and tranquillity of daily life they could never come to realization and the voice from above would go unheard. Then people would need no help, no comfort and no instruction. All care for the soul would be an incomprehensible concept to them and would only strengthen their will to reject, the earth would offer them enough beauty and they would not need anything more. But when the transitoriness of all earthly comforts is made so clear to them, when their life only ever becomes heavy and unattractive through suffering and sorrow, then people look for a substitute which disappoints them less and also find it with the right spiritual attitude, i.e., as soon as they turn their backs on everything earthly and concern themselves with the question of spiritual life, with life after death. And now the process of a complete transformation begins when the human being has approached this problem. He will also always find the right answer if his will is to fulfil the divine commandements, if he recognizes them.... if he wants to do everything that corresponds to divine will, if this will is revealed to him. Hence every revelation is valuable and must also be complied with, for all spiritual threads are tied in such a way as to be of use to people on earth.... and if the earthly child does not fulfil the expressed will it has no claim on the father’s loving guidance, for it acts according to its own discretion and thus also has to bear the consequences of its way of acting. People are to be helped in all spiritual adversity, for earthly adversity can be called little if the state of the soul requires help. Earth's time of suffering will pass but the soul will take its suffering with it into eternity if it is not completed. Therefore remember it in prayer, so that the lord may strengthen it and give it the light of knowledge....
