Der Weg der Entwicklung ist ständiger Kampf.... Kampf in Natur....

Beginne zu kämpfen mit dir selbst, und du wirst siegen.... Dies sind des Herrn Worte, die Er einem jeden zugehen läßt, der den festen Willen hat, zu Ihm zu gelangen. An dem Herzen der Mutter Natur erkennet ihr immer wieder von neuem den ewigen Kampf.... es will sich alles durchsetzen. Im Pflanzenreich durchbricht die es umgebende Hülle das Samenkorn.... alles was auf der Erde und über der Erde lebt, geht den Weg der Entwicklung immer in einem gewissen Kämpfen.... Das Alte zu überwinden und sich durchzusetzen, bis etwas Neues entstanden ist.... sei es im Pflanzen- oder Tierleben.... immer wird das Wesen die alte Hülle abtun müssen, ehe es zu neuem Leben erwacht.... Genau so ist auch das, was den Menschen veredeln soll, immer nur zu erreichen, wenn alle Schwächen und Fehler zuvor bekämpft werden und sich aus diesen Kämpfen heraus ein neues, besseres und geläutertes Leben entwickelt, das sonach die eigentliche Aufgabe im Erdenleben sein muß.... Der irdische Körper.... ist gleichsam auch nur die äußere Hülle, die die Seele umschließt, und diese wieder soll ankämpfen gegen alles Trübe, Unvollkommene, was die Seele noch gefangenhält.... Kann sie sich aus dieser äußeren Umhüllung lösen.... kann sie hell und klar heraustreten aus den sie umgebenden Fesseln, so wird es ihr bald gelingen, in sich aufzunehmen den göttlichen Geist, und sie ist wiedergeboren zum göttlichen Leben.... Darum kämpfet ohne Unterlaß.... denn ihr werfet dann nur eine Hülle von euch, die euch hinderlich ist, das volle Licht aufzunehmen.... Im Nichtstun findet ihr den Frieden nicht, ihr findet auch nicht die wahre Erkenntnis, die Helligkeit des Geistes.... sondern trübe, lichtlos und verhüllt ist eure Seele, solange ihr nicht selbst an euch arbeitet.... solange ihr nicht kämpfet im wahren Sinne des Wortes gegen alles, was euch hinderlich ist, einen lichten Geist in euch aufnehmen zu können.... Für viele sind die Worte des Glaubens wohl ein Zeichen von oben, sie erkennen die göttlichen Lehren voll und ganz an und bemühen sich doch nicht, diese zu befolgen.... sie vereinigen nicht Willen und Tat mit dem, was sie anerkennen müssen.... ihnen ist die Lehre wie eine reife Frucht, die gut ist und als solche geerntet wurde, aber niemals genossen.... und daher trotz aller Güte nicht dem Menschen zur Nahrung diente, also auch den Zweck nicht verrichtet hat, der ihre Bestimmung war.... Es war die Frucht eine Gabe Gottes, doch wurde sie nicht bewertet, sondern achtlos dem Untergang preisgegeben.... Lasset den Segen Gottes nicht an euch vorübergehen.... Kämpfet und nehmet alles auf in eure Herzen, was euch die Güte Gottes bietet.... lasset den Geist nicht darben.... was ihr euch geistig erringet und gar erkämpfen müsset, wird euch unsagbar erheben über alles Irdische. Darum achtet stets darauf, wie ihr das Wort Gottes an euch selbst betätigen könnt, gehet nicht kampflos jedem Ungemach aus dem Wege, sondern suchet euch durchzusetzen, auf daß ihr euch eine Seele schaffet in geistiger Vollendung, denn steter Kampf führt euch zum Sieg....

The path of development is a constant struggle.... Struggle in nature....

Start fighting with yourself and you will win.... These are the words of the Lord, which He sends to everyone who has the firm will to reach Him. At the heart of Mother Nature you recognize again and again the eternal fight.... everything wants to prevail. In the plant kingdom, the cover surrounding it breaks through the seed.... everything that lives on the earth and above the earth, always goes the way of development in a certain fight.... To overcome the old and to assert itself until something new has arisen.... whether in the plant or animal life.... the being will always have to do away with the old cover before it awakens into new life....

Exactly the same way also that, which is meant to ennoble humans, is to be reached always only if all weaknesses and errors are fought, before and from these fights a new, better and purified life develops, which must therefore be the actual task of the earth-life.... The earthly body.... is as it were also only the outer cover, which encloses the soul, and this again is to fight against all cloudy, all imperfect, which still holds the soul captive.... If it can release itself from this outer covering.... If it can emerge brightly and clearly from the fetters surrounding it, it will soon succeed in absorbing the divine Spirit, and it is reborn to divine life....

Therefore fight without ceasing.... because then you only discard of a shell which is hindering you to take up the full light.... you do not find peace in doing nothing, you do not find the true knowledge, the brightness of the spirit.... but your soul is cloudy, devoid of light and veiled as long as you do not work on yourself.... as long as you do not fight in the true sense of the word against everything that hinders you to be able to take up a light spirit in you....

For many, the words of faith are indeed a sign from above, they fully acknowledge the divine teachings and yet do not make any effort to follow them.... they do not unite will and action with what they have to acknowledge.... for them, the teaching is like a ripe fruit, which is good and was harvested as that, but never enjoyed.... and therefore, despite all goodness, did not serve the people as food, thus also did not fulfill the purpose that was it's destiny.... It was the fruit of a gift of God, but it was not valued, but carelessly abandoned to destruction....

Do not let the blessings of God pass you by.... Fight and take up into your hearts everything that the goodness of God offers you.... do not let the spirit be in want.... What you spiritually gain and even have to fight for, will lift you unspeakably above all earthly things. Therefore, always pay attention to how you can apply the Word of God to yourselves, do not avoid all adversity without a fight, but try to assert yourselves so that you create a soul in spiritual perfection, because constant struggle leads you to victory....
