Cunoașterea timpului sfârșitului....

Este extrem de greșit să declarăm că timpul dizolvării este îndepărtat, iar această eroare este dăunătoare pentru suflete, pentru că nu acordă atenție avertismentelor și atenționărilor din zilele de la urmă. Dar este la fel de eronat să vrei să determini timpul, pentru că această cunoaștere este ascunsă oamenilor. Din acest motiv, Dumnezeu indică întotdeauna sfârșitul apropiat prin intermediul clarvăzătorilor și profeților, pentru a-i stimula pe oameni să trăiască în conformitate cu un sfârșit care se apropie rapid, pentru a-i face conștienți de responsabilitatea pe care o au față de sufletele lor și pentru a se pregăti în mod constant pentru sfârșit. Sfârșitul este aproape, dar nimeni nu știe ziua, în afară de Dumnezeu. Semnele vremurilor indică sfârșitul, dar acesta va veni brusc și pe neașteptate pentru toți oamenii, chiar și pentru credincioșii care sunt bine informați și se străduiesc să trăiască în conformitate cu sfârșitul care se apropie. Simțul și înțelegerea umană nu vor putea niciodată să pătrundă în planul divin al eternității și, prin urmare, nu vor putea determina nici timpul, nici natura sfârșitului. Numai acolo unde spiritul lui Dumnezeu este activ, El îi va instrui pe oameni cu privire la modul în care va avea loc sfârșitul, lăsând însă întotdeauna deschisă ziua și ceasul la care se va întâmpla. Căci Dumnezeu și-a rezervat acest lucru pentru Sine și a ascuns oamenilor cunoașterea lui. Credincioșii sunt capabili să recunoască momentul sfârșitului după nivelul scăzut de dezvoltare spirituală, iar dacă așteaptă zilnic acest lucru, precum și venirea Domnului și intră în contact intim cu Dumnezeu, vor simți și când se apropie ziua judecății. Dar oricine vrea să determine timpul dinainte, care se crede inițiat fără o lucrare evidentă a spiritului, se va înșela cu anunțul său, iar oamenii nu ar trebui să-l creadă, pentru că nu face decât să contribuie la întărirea necredinței lor în cele din urmă. Chiar și Înaintemergătorul Domnului, care este trimis pe Pământ de Dumnezeu Însuși pentru mântuirea celor care sunt încă nehotărâți, nici el nu va preciza o zi..... Și el va anunța sfârșitul apropiat și îi va îndemna pe oameni să se aștepte la el în fiecare zi și în fiecare ceas. El este luminat de spiritul lui Dumnezeu, iar Spiritul Tatălui, care se exprimă în el și prin el, cunoaște cu adevărat ziua și ceasul. Și totuși, el încă păstrează acest secret față de oameni, pentru că nu este potrivit ca ei să știe. Și astfel, ceasul va veni brusc și neașteptat, așa cum Dumnezeu a vestit.... în mijlocul extazului de bucurie al lumii, vocea Lui va răsuna, pentru a-i speria pe necredincioși, dar pentru a-i mângâia și bucura pe credincioși....

Knowing the time of the end....

It is exceptionally misguided to state that the time of the breakdown will be in the distant future; this error is detrimental for the souls because they will pay no attention to the admonitions and warnings of the last days. But it is equally misguided trying to determine the point in time, for this knowledge is concealed from people. God always refers to the near end through seers and prophets in order to encourage people to live according to a quickly occurring end, in order to make them aware of their responsibility towards their souls and to constantly prepare themselves for the end. The end is near, yet no-one but God knows the day. The signs of the time point towards the end, nevertheless, it will come suddenly and unexpectedly for all people including the faithful who are knowledgeable and make an effort to live in accordance with the approaching end. Human mind and human intellect will never be able to penetrate the divine plan of eternity and therefore never be able to determine the time nor the manner of the end. Only where the spirit of God is at work He will instruct people as to how the end will take place, yet always leaving the day and the hour open when it happens. For this knowledge is God's prerogative and therefore concealed to people. The faithful will be able to recognise the time of the end by the low level of spiritual development, and if they expect the coming of the Lord every day and enter into heartfelt contact with God they will also sense when the Day of Judgment is approaching.

But anyone who wants to calculate the time in advance, anyone who deems himself to know without the obvious working of the spirit, will be mistaken in his announcement, people should not believe him for he only contributes towards increasing the unbelief in the end. Even the forerunner of the Lord, who will be sent to Earth by God Himself in order to save the still undecided, even he will not specify a day.... He, too, will proclaim the imminent end and admonish people to expect it daily and hourly. He will be enlightened by the spirit of God, and the Father-Spirit, Who speaks in and through him, truly knows the day and the hour. And yet he, too, will still keep it secret from people because the knowledge of it will be of no use to them. And thus the hour will come suddenly and unexpectedly, as it was proclaimed by God.... His voice will resound in the midst of the euphoria of the world, to the horror of the unbelievers but to the comfort and joy of those who are faithful....
