Geestelijke dwang - Dogma's - Waarheid

De geestelijke vrijheid moet gehandhaafd blijven, de mens mag niet worden gedwongen zijn gedachten deze of gene richting op te laten gaan, het moet hem vrijstaan, zich bij een geestelijke richting aan te sluiten, pas dan wordt Mijn Wil vervuld, want het gaat om de vrije wilsbeslissing die ieder mens uit zichzelf moet nemen, zonder hoe dan ook door dwang beïnvloed te zijn. Daarom zal IK nooit of te nimmer een geloofsdwang goedkeuren die zich door dogma's uit, die de mensen onvrij maakt in hun denken en hun elke mogelijkheid ontneemt te onderzoeken en te kiezen. De mens wordt daardoor een bepaald denken opgelegd en komt nu tot geheel verkeerde gevolgtrekkingen, wanneer van verkeerde vooronderstellingen wordt uitgegaan. Hij kan bezwaarlijk tot de waarheid geraken, die alleen die mens verkrijgt die ze ernstig begeert.

In het aardse leven wordt de mens de waarheid bijgebracht, omdat hij in staat is te denken en zijn wil alleen beslist of hij juist denkt. Hij kan juist denken, maar moet steeds zelf actief zijn, d.w.z. hij moet tegenover alles wat hem van buiten af wordt bijgebracht zelf zijn standpunt innemen en dat vraagt eigen werkzaamheid van het verstand, en wat nog belangrijker is, verlangen naar de waarheid, d.w.z. de wil juist te denken. Deze wil wordt door MIJ onvoorwaardelijk gerespecteerd, hij zal steeds worden ingewilligd, omdat IK, als Zelf de WAARHEID, Mijn schepselen ook MIJ Zelf dichterbij wil brengen. Maar IK kan nooit een mens de waarheid doen toekomen die daar niet naar verlangt, die alleen steeds aanneemt wat hem van buitenaf wordt verteld. Ieder mens moet zelf onderzoeken, want net zo goed kan hem iets verkeerds als waarheid worden voorgehouden en de mens is zelf verantwoordelijk voor wat hij besluit.

Het is verkeerd om tegen te werpen dat het merendeel van de mensen niet tot onderzoeken in staat is. Het verstand alleen is niet maatgevend, maar wel de wil om juist te denken, en het verstand van de mens zal zich dan ook bevestigend of afwijzend instellen, omdat IK Zelf dan tussenbeide kom wanneer hij naar de waarheid verlangt. Daarentegen kan het denken van een hoog ontwikkeld verstand makkelijk een prooi van de dwaling worden, waar slechts het verstand en niet het hart en de wil op de zuivere waarheid zijn gericht. En daarom is het niet in orde, zonder onderzoek een weten aan te nemen, zonder onderzoek leerstellingen te aanvaarden en zonder onderzoek voor een geestelijke richting te kiezen - wat al daaruit volgt dat er niet slechts een geestelijke richting bestaat, integendeel steeds weer ervan afwijkende bevestigen dat er een onderzoek moet worden uitgevoerd bij welke geestesrichting de waarheid te vinden is. Want ieder die zijn geestesrichting aanhangt heeft daar verstandelijk voor gekozen, maar zonder garantie of het de waarheid is, wanneer hij niet zelf zich daar ernstig mee bezighoudt, en wel met het aanroepen van Mijn ondersteuning door Mijn GEEST. Wie deze weg zal kiezen, kan er zeker van zijn dat hem de zuivere waarheid wordt toegezonden en hij zal er ook innerlijk overtuigd als zodanig voor uit kunnen komen.

Maar iedere afzonderlijke ziel is verantwoordelijk voor haar keuze en zoals haar wil is, zo is ook het resultaat. Maar zolang de mensen in een bepaalde gedachtenrichting worden gedrongen, zolang enkele menen geroepen te zijn de medemensen een weten voor te houden dat ze zelf als waarheid willen zien erkend, dat ze echter zelf zouden afwijzen bij ernstig onderzoek, zolang ziet het er onder de mensen bedenkelijk uit, want alleen de waarheid helpt de zielen rijp te worden, alleen door de waarheid kunnen ze bij MIJ komen en alleen door de waarheid vrij worden van de zonde en de gevolgen hiervan, want de waarheid is afkomstig uit MIJ en voert weer naar MIJ terug.

Maar wat niet van MIJ is, wat bij een juist onderzoek als dwaling is in te zien, is van Mijn tegenstander en deze zal u waarlijk niet helpen gelukzalig te worden, hij zal u niet naar MIJ leiden, hij tracht u (van MIJ) weg te dringen, uw geest te verduisteren en u zelf (aan hem) onderworpen te maken. Alleen de waarheid maakt zalig en de waarheid zult u alleen maar kunnen hebben, wanneer u MIJ Zelf daarom vraagt, wanneer het u er om te doen is, van MIJ de waarheid te verkrijgen. Maar dit stelt steeds uw medewerking voorop en niemand kan voor u de verantwoording dragen, niemand kan u de beslissing uit handen nemen die u omwille van het heil van uw ziel zelf zult moeten nemen.

Spiritual compulsion.... Doctrines.... Truth....

Spiritual freedom must be maintained, the human being may not be forced to think in this or that direction, he must remain at liberty to join any school of thought, only then will My will be complied with, for it concerns the free decision of will, which every person must make by himself without having been influenced in a compelling way. For this reason I will never ever sanction compulsory faith which expresses itself through dogma, which inhibits people's thinking and denies them any possibility of testing and of choosing.... Thereby the human being is impelled to think in a specific way and comes to completely wrong conclusions if the preconditions are wrong.... He can hardly find the truth which is only gained by a person who seriously desires it. The truth is made accessible to a person in earthly life because he is capable of thinking and only his will makes the decision as to whether he thinks correctly. He might well think correctly but he must always be active himself, that is, he must form his own opinion about everything that is presented to him from outside, and that requires his own intellectual activity and, even more importantly, his desire for truth, i.e. the will only to accept the right information. This will is absolutely respected by Me, it is always complied with because I, being Truth Itself, also want to make Myself accessible to My living creations. But I can never convey the truth to a person who does not want it, who only ever accepts what he receives from external sources. Every person must examine for himself, for error might just as well have been presented to him as truth, and the person is responsible for what he decides to accept. It is a mistaken objection to say that the majority of people are incapable of scrutiny.... The intellect alone is not decisive but the will to think correctly certainly is, in which case the person's intellect will also form a positive or negative opinion, because I Myself will intervene if he desires to know the truth. By comparison, highly developed intellectual thinking can easily fall prey to error if only the intellect is inclined towards the pure truth without involving the heart and will....

Consequently, it is wrong to accept knowledge without examining it, to acknowledge teachings and to decide on a spiritual direction without scrutiny.... which already follows from the fact that not only one school of thought exists, but that ever new offshoots verify that an examination must take place as to which school of thought the truth can be found in. For every advocate of his school of thought has used his intellect to choose it but has no guarantee that it is the truth if he does not seriously deliberate on it and calls upon Me for support through My spirit.... Anyone who chooses this path can be certain that the pure truth will be conveyed to him, and he will also be able to endorse it as such with inner conviction. However, every individual soul is responsible for its decision, and the result will be according to its will.... But as long as people are pushed into a specific direction of thought, as long as individuals deem themselves called to present knowledge to their fellow human beings which they want to be accepted as truth but which they would reject themselves were they seriously to examine it.... so long people will be in a dreadful state, for only truth helps the souls to mature fully, they can only find their way to Me through truth and only through truth can they be released from sin and its consequences, for the truth comes from Me and leads back to Me again. But that which is not from Me, that which can be recognised as error with proper scrutiny, comes from My adversary, and he will really not help you to gain beatitude, he will not guide you to Me, he will try to push you aside, to darken your spirit and to make you dependent on him.... Only truth will make you happy, and you will only receive the truth if you appeal to Me Myself for it, if you are serious about receiving the truth from Me.... But this always presupposes your own action and no-one can bear the responsibility for you, no-one can relieve you of the decision which you must make yourselves for the sake for your soul's salvation....
