Het gebruiken van de genadestroom door het onrijpe geestelijke

De mens staat tijdens zijn aardse leven een hoeveelheid genade ter beschikking, die hem een volledig vrij komen mogelijk maakt, zodra hij bereid is om deze genade op zich in te laten werken. Zodoende kan elk mens de lichttoestand al op aarde bereiken, als hij dat wil. Maar hijzelf bepaalt door zijn wil de hoeveelheid genade, die hem toegestuurd wordt. Gods liefde stelt geen grenzen, maar alleen de mens doet dit door zijn instelling ten opzichte van Hem, die nu de toestroom van genade toe of af doet nemen. En zo is zijn lichttoestand er ook afhankelijk van, hoe de mens de hem toekomende genade begeert en gebruikt.

Als nu de goddelijke genade ongebruikt gelaten wordt, dan verspreidt deze zich toch als kracht over de scheppingswerken, waarvan het geestelijke nog niet in het bezit van de vrije wil is. En dit wordt door deze scheppingswerken als weldadig ervaren. De goddelijke genade is de uitstroming van de liefde van God en al het wezenlijke, dat bereid is om te ontvangen, zal de toestroom van de goddelijke uitstraling van liefde als kracht gewaarworden.

Zodoende zal het afwijzen en niet gebruiken van de goddelijke genade van de kant mens een snellere opwaartse ontwikkeling van het geestelijke, dat zich nog niet in het stadium van de vrije wil bevindt, tot gevolg hebben, want deze vereffening is door God zo gewild. Het geestelijke dringt zich nu naar zijn laatste belichaming als mens op aarde om de hem ter beschikking staande genadestroom overvloedig te kunnen gebruiken voor zijn vrijkomen. Dus het wezenlijke, dat zich nog in de gebonden wil bevindt, neemt in zekere zin deel aan dat, wat het al rijpere geestelijke toebedacht is, zodra deze de gave van God niet gebruikt en dit komt in een snellere omvorming van de uiterlijke vorm, in een sneller vergaan en ontstaan, tot uiting.

God houdt rekening met de vrije wil van hetgeen gebonden is, dat nu gedienstig is en daarom het stadium van de vrije wil nastreeft. Hij houdt rekening met hem, doordat Hij het wezenlijke de mogelijkheid geeft tot een snellere omvorming van zijn uiterlijke omhulsel. Wat nu weer aan de dag komt in een opeising van al dat, wat de mens voor zijn levenswijze nodig heeft.

De mens zelf geeft zodoende onbewust het hem omgevende geestelijke in de vorm de mogelijkheid tot een snellere opwaartse ontwikkeling, die echter steeds pas het gevolg is van gedienstigheid van het geestelijke, dat daarin aanwezig is en zulks weer door de van God uitstromende genadekracht ontwikkeld of vergroot wordt. En daarom zal in tijden van een geestelijk lage stand van de mensen het geestelijke in de vorm zijn laatste belichaming steeds ijveriger nastreven, omdat het zich naar de genadestroom dringt, die door God de schepping in geleid wordt, maar door de wezens in de vrije wil niet gebruikt wordt.

Utilizing the stream of grace from immature spiritual....

A measure of grace is available to the human being during his earthly life which enables him to become completely free as soon as he is willing to let this grace take effect on him. Thus, every human being can already attain the state of light on earth if he wants to, yet he himself determines the amount of grace he receives through his will. God's love sets no limits, but the human being himself does so through his attitude towards Him, which now increases or decreases the influx of grace. And so his state of light also depends on how the human being desires and utilizes the grace he is entitled to. If divine grace is now left unutilized, it nevertheless exudes itself as strength onto the works of creation whose spiritual substance is not yet in possession of free will and is felt beneficially by these works of creation. divine grace is the emanation of God's love, and all beings willing to receive it will feel the influx of the divine emanation of love as strength. Thus the rejection and non-utilization of divine grace on the part of the human being will result in a faster higher development of that spiritual substance, which is not yet in the stage of free will, for this equalization is God's will. The spiritual substance is now pushing towards its final embodiment on earth as a human being in order to make extensive use of the flow of grace at its disposal for its liberation. Thus the spiritual substance, which is still in bound will, effectively participates in that which is intended for the already more mature spiritual substance as soon as it does not utilize God's gift, and this manifests itself in a faster reshaping of the external forms, in faster passing away and becoming.... God takes account of the will of the bound, which is now ready to serve and therefore strives for the stage of free will. He takes it into account by giving the beingness the opportunity to reshape its outer shell more quickly.... which now appears again in increased utilization of everything the human being needs to lead his life. Thus the human being himself unconsciously gives the spiritual being surrounding him the possibility of a faster higher development in the form, but this is always only the result of the willingness of the spiritual being to serve and such was again unfolded or increased by the power of grace emanating from God. And therefore, in times of spiritual depression the spiritual in the form will always strive more eagerly for its final embodiment because it pushes towards the flow of grace which is guided into creation by God but not utilized by the beings of free will....
