Licht – Werken van liefde in het hiernamaals – Verlossingswerk

De ziel vindt in het hiernamaals een omgeving vol licht, als ze op aarde een God welgevallig leven geleid heeft en zich tot een lichtwezen heeft gevormd. Dan is ze van iedere boei bevrijd. Ze kan volledig onbezorgd verblijven waar ze wil. Overal zal ze omgeven zijn door licht en haar toestand zal zalig zijn.

De lichtvolle wereld, die nu haar verblijfplaats is, is op geen enkele manier een scheppingswerk uit aardse materie. Want wat de ziel nu ziet, zijn geestelijke scheppingen, die voor de mensen onvoorstelbaar zijn. Ze overtreffen al hetgeen tot nog toe gezien is qua kleur en vorm in schoonheid. Het zijn scheppingen, die de meest gewaagde fantasie van de mens niet kan bedenken en toch voelt de ziel zich goed in deze omgeving, omdat ze alleen maar aantreft, waar ze in de geest naar verlangd heeft. Ze heeft geen verlangen meer naar de aarde, die ze verlaten heeft, maar ze herkent haar ware vaderland en het aardse leven komt haar voor als een droom, die opgehouden is.

En nu spoort de buitengewoon zalige toestand haar tot werken aan, doordat ze alle wezens hetzelfde zou willen geven, als wat haar zo buitengewoon gelukkig maakt. Ze weet dat licht in het hiernamaals zaligheid betekent en ze kent ook de eindeloze duisternis van de niet verloste zielen en ze zou deze duisternis willen doorbreken en de zielen eveneens in een toestand van licht brengen.

Deze drang tot verlossende werkzaamheid is in elk lichtwezen aanwezig en maakt daarom deze werkzaamheid tot een zaligheid. Dus zal de ziel altijd bereid zijn tot hulp en dat zonder enige berekening. Ze geeft, omdat ze daartoe door haar hart gedwongen wordt en ontvangt nu in dezelfde mate zoals ze geeft. En haar eigen geluksgevoel wordt groter, naarmate ze nu meer licht bij de onwetende zielen of mensen op aarde brengt. Licht is haar omgeving. Ze is zelf licht en elke lering, die weer in liefde gegeven wordt, brengt eenieder licht.

Het lichtrijk is overal, waar de lichtwezens zich ophouden en de lichtwezens hebben ook altijd toegang tot de wezens, die nog in de duisternis smachten. Maar ze naderen de onrijpe wezens niet in hun gehele volheid van licht, maar verhullen zich, zodat ze hun licht niet laten schijnen, omdat de wezens van de duisternis dit licht niet zouden kunnen verdragen. Maar ze voeren hun werkzaamheid toch uit, doordat ze de wezens van de duisternis kennis geven, als deze zich laten onderrichten. En nu treden de laatsten in de lichtkring van degenen, die een leven in liefde geleid hebben en nu weer in liefde werkzaam zijn voor de zielen, die het nog aan elk licht ontbreekt.

In het licht te staan, betekent kennis te hebben. De mens met kennis is met God verbonden en de zielen in het hiernamaals, die kennis hebben, zijn eveneens in de nabijheid van God, zodat ze Zijn lichtuitstraling in ontvangst nemen, dus door Zijn wijsheid gevoed worden. Het gebeuren van het overdragen van licht is voor de mens onbegrijpelijk, omdat er niets vergelijkbaars voor op aarde te vinden is.

In het geestelijke rijk is de wil van God voldoende om de voor de mens meest onbegrijpelijke gebeurtenissen plaats te laten vinden en de uitstraling van het licht, de ononderbroken licht- en krachtstroming en het overdragen op het volmaakte wezen, is ook zo’n gebeurtenis. Het contact met God moet eerst tot stand gebracht zijn. Zodoende moet het wezen de innige vereniging met God gevonden hebben, om Zijn licht- en krachtstroom in ontvangst te kunnen nemen. En de vereniging met God vindt plaats, zodra het wezenlijke in liefde werkzaam is. Het werkzaam zijn in liefde in het hiernamaals zal altijd het overdragen van geestelijke kennis aan de onwetenden zijn. Dat wil zeggen de wezens die zich in de duisternis van geest bevinden.

Dit werkzaam zijn in liefde heeft een toegenomen licht- en krachttoevoer tot gevolg en zodoende zal de liefde voor de niet verloste zielen steeds sterker worden, omdat de liefde van God de lichtwezens gegrepen heeft en de stroom van liefde onophoudelijk naar deze overvloeit, wat een steeds naarstiger werkzaam zijn in liefde tot gevolg heeft.

Nu moet begrijpelijkerwijs ook de duistere toestand van deze wezens, op wie dit werkzaam zijn in liefde uitgeoefend wordt, in een lichte toestand veranderen. Eerst moet de duisternis voor een lichte schemering wijken, tot dan zwakke lichtstralen deze ook doorbreekt en de ziel begint haar omgeving duidelijker te herkennen en haar verlangen naar licht neemt gestaag toe. In dezelfde mate kan het werkzaam zijn in liefde van de lichtwezens toenemen en dit is het verlossingswerk, dat wel op aarde begon, maar in het hiernamaals voortgezet en nog eeuwigheden duren zal, totdat het laatste wezen uit de duisternis naar het licht geleid is, dus als al het geestelijke uiteindelijk verlost is.

Light.... labour of love in the hereafter.... work of redemption....

The soul will find a light-filled environment in the beyond if it has led a God-pleasing way of life on earth and shaped itself into a being of light. Then it will be free from every shackle, it can stay wherever it wants without any worries, light will surround it everywhere and its state will be a blissful one. The world full of light, which is now its abode, is by no means a work of creation from earthly matter, but what the soul now beholds are spiritual creations that are unimaginable to man. They surpass everything seen so far in beauty of colour and form. They are creations that man's boldest imagination cannot conceive, and yet the soul feels at ease in this environment because it only finds what it has longed for in the spirit. It no longer longs for the earth it has left but recognizes its true home and earthly life appears to it like a dream that has come to an end. And now the extremely blissful state drives it to activity by wanting to communicate to all beings the same thing that makes it so extremely happy. It knows that light means bliss in the beyond, and it also knows about the endless darkness of the unredeemed souls and would like to break through this darkness and likewise place the souls into a state of light. This urge for redeeming activity is inherent in every being of light and therefore makes this activity blissful, thus the soul will always be willing to help without any calculation. It gives because its heart urges it and now receives in the same measure as it gives again. And its own feeling of happiness increases the more it brings its light to the ignorant souls or people on earth. Light is her surroundings, light is herself, and light brings every teaching that is conveyed again in love. The kingdom of light is everywhere where the beings of light stay, but the beings of light also always have access to the beings which still languish in darkness, only that they do not approach the immature beings in their fullness of light but cover themselves, that they do not let their light shine because the beings of darkness could not tolerate it. Yet they nevertheless carry out their activity by imparting knowledge to the beings of darkness if they allow themselves to be taught. And now the latter enter the circle of light of those who have lived a life of love and now work in love again on the souls which still lack all light....

To stand in the light means to be knowledgeable.... The knowing person is God-connected, and the souls in the beyond who stand in the light are likewise close to God so that they receive His light radiation.... i.e. they are nourished by His wisdom. The process of light transmission is incomprehensible to people because no earthly comparison can be made. In the spiritual kingdom God's will is sufficient for the most incomprehensible processes to take place, and such a process is also the emanation of light, the uninterrupted flow of light and strength and transmission to the perfect being. The contact with God has to be established first, thus the being has to have found the intimate union with God in order to be able to receive His flow of light and strength. And the union with God takes place as soon as the beingness works in love. Love work in the hereafter will always be the imparting of spiritual knowledge to the ignorant, i.e. to beings standing in darkness. This activity of love constantly results in an increased supply of light and strength, and thus love will become ever stronger towards the unredeemed souls because God's love has seized the beings of light and the flow of love will inexorably flow over to them, resulting in an ever more diligent activity of love. Now, understandably, the state of darkness of those beings on whom the activity of love is being carried out must also change into light. First the darkness has to give way to a slight twilight, until then faint rays of light also break through this, and the soul begins to recognize its surroundings more clearly and its desire for light steadily increases. The light beings' activity of love can increase to the same extent, and this is the work of redemption which certainly began on earth but will continue in the beyond and still take eternities before the last being is led out of darkness into the light, thus all spiritual beings are finally redeemed....
