Zelfmoord?

Het bewustzijn de nacht van de dood te hebben veroorzaakt en zichzelf te hebben beroofd van de tijd van genade, die de belichaming op aarde is, is verlammend voor de ziel. Het aardse leven met al zijn moeilijkheden is bij benadering niet zo smartelijk als de duistere nacht van de dood en daar is vooralsnog geen uitweg uit, totdat ze zich bewust wordt van de draagwijdte van haar handelen en ze beseft, dat ze onverantwoordelijk handelde, toen ze haar aardse leven opgaf.

Het zwaarste leed, aan de Heer geofferd, zal voor de mensen draagbaarder lijken, maar wie in de nood niet aan de Heer denkt, kan niet getroost worden en geeft de boze machten om hem heen macht over zichzelf. En deze boze machten gebruiken deze willoosheid van de mens en sporen hem aan tot een daad, die hij nadien bitter berouwt.

En het is van zo’n groot belang, dat de eeuwigdurende strijd van het aardse leven overwonnen wordt. Het is zo buitengewoon belangrijk om dankbaar te zijn voor elke dag van het aardse leven, die de mens steeds nieuwe tegenstand brengt en deze tegenstand te herkennen als noodzakelijk voor het zielenheil van de mens. Het is echter onuitsprekelijk nadelig voor de ziel, als ze het leven op aarde eigenmachtig verkort en de mens nu alle genaden en middelen kwijtraakt, omdat ze de kracht tot tegenstand niet vond.

Suicide?....

The soul is paralysed by the awareness that it has brought about the night of death and deprived itself of the time of grace, which after all is the embodiment on earth. Life on earth, with all its difficulties, is not nearly as painful as this dark night of death, and there is no way out of it for the time being until it realizes the consequences of its actions and realizes that it acted irresponsibly when it gave up its earthly life. The heaviest sorrow, offered up to the lord, will seem more bearable to a person, but he who does not remember the lord in his distress cannot be comforted and gives the evil powers around him power over himself. And these take advantage of man's lack of will and push him into an act that he later bitterly regrets. And it is of such great importance that the perpetual struggle of earthly life is overcome. It is so extremely important to give thanks for every day of earthly life which constantly brings the human being new opposition and to regocnize it as necessary for the salvation of the human being's soul, yet unspeakably detrimental for the soul if it arbitrarily shortens its life on earth and the human being then loses all blessings and means because it did not find the strength to resist....
