Ontwaken uit de geestelijke slaap – Licht – Geestelijke zon

Aan de dag van het ontwaken uit de geestelijke slaap gaat geen enkel voorteken vooraf, maar plotseling zal er een lichtstraal schijnen in de duisternis van de geest. En wie eenmaal binnen het bereik van de lichtstraal gekomen is, volgt zijn weg naar het uitgangspunt. En voortaan is het licht en helder rondom hem en in hem, want nu werkt de goddelijke kracht, de liefdesgeest van eeuwigheid af. Zoals het lichtschijnsel onvermijdelijk de duisternis doorbreekt, zo is nu ook de nacht van de geest door een zweem van inzicht een slachtoffer geworden van de aanbrekende dag. Alles, wat tot nog toe in de duisternis verborgen was, komt aan het licht en is aan elke beproeving blootgesteld en kan zich nu vrij ontplooien en vormen.

En zonder het geestelijke inzicht zou het volledig onmogelijk zijn om de huidige duistere geestestoestand te verlaten. Dus moet ook alle geest uit God met licht doorstraald worden en in de donkere woning van geestelijke duisternis zijn geboeide toestand aanschouwen, want hem werd de bekwaamheid gegeven om zich te ontplooien. Maar de nog wereldse ziel houdt hem vast in de betovering, en de bevrijding daaruit vindt niet eerder plaats, totdat een liefhebbend wezen zijn hele wil gebruikt om de geest uit alle boeien te bevrijden.

De geest is door haar liefde tot veel in staat, voelt zich ook bedrukt als ze afzijdig moet blijven, waar licht en leven wenkt en het in haar macht ligt om de donkere nacht in de helderste dag te veranderen. Dus is het van buitengewoon belang, dat de mens eerst zichzelf herkent. Dat hij in staat is om te onderscheiden of de toestand van de ziel naar licht verlangt of zich beter voelt in de altijd durende duisternis van de geest en dus ook nog niet rijp is voor de verlichting van de geest.

Het is onbeschrijflijk moeilijk om de geestelijke zon te laten stralen voor degenen, die in de geest volledig blind zijn. Ze zullen noch zien, noch horen, want ze beschouwen hun verduisterde toestand als het ware met welgevallen en wanen zich wetend en heel superieur boven de geestelijk verlichte mensen en ze geloven de stralen van het licht niet nodig te hebben. Het is moeilijk om hen hulp te geven en alleen een voortdurend bedachtzaam mens, die onvolmaakt is, kan eindelijk door het verlangen naar licht gegrepen worden, als hij de toestand van zijn ziel als reden van een ontevreden leven herkent en hij er nu op bedacht is om zichzelf verlichting van de geest te bezorgen en hij dus bewust naar het licht verlangt.

Awakening from spiritual sleep.... light.... spiritual sun....

The day of awakening from spiritual sleep is not preceded by any signs but a ray of light will suddenly fall into the darkness of the spirit, and anyone who has once entered the area of the ray of light will follow its exit, and henceforth it is light and clear around him and in him, for now the divine power, the spirit of love from eternity.... Just as the light inevitably breaks through the darkness, the night of the spirit has now also become a victim of the dawning day with the glimmer of knowledge. Everything that was hitherto hidden in darkness comes to light and is exposed to every test and can now freely unfold and shape itself. And it would be completely impossible to leave the previous dark spiritual state without spiritual knowledge. Accordingly, all spirit must also be flooded with light from God and see a fettered state in the darkest dwelling of spiritual darkness, for it was given the ability to develop itself, yet the still worldly soul keeps it under its spell, and release from it is no sooner until a loving being musters all will to liberate the spirit from all fetters. It is able to do much through its love, it also feels oppressed itself when it has to stand apart where light and life beckons and it lies in its power to change the dark night into brightest day. Thus it is of extraordinary importance that the human being first recognizes himself.... that he is able to distinguish whether the state of the soul longs for light or feels more comfortable in perpetual darkness of spirit and is therefore not yet ready for enlightenment of spirit. It is indescribably difficult to let the spiritual sun shine for those who are completely blind in spirit, they will neither see nor hear, for they look upon their darkened state with pleasure, as it were, and believe themselves to be knowledgeable and far superior to the spiritually enlightened, and they don't believe they need the light of enlightenment. It is difficult to help them, and only a person who is constantly inadequately thought of can finally be seized by the desire for light if he recognizes his state of soul as the cause of an unsatisfied life and is now intent on obtaining enlightenment of spirit for himself.... and thus consciously desires light....
